General Information

Elucent Anti-Ageing Body Moisturiser is a rejuvenating moisturising lotion with 12% Alpha Hydroxy Acids.

Elucent Body Moisturiser is a rejuvenating moisturising lotion for the body. Effective emollients rehydrate & lock in the skin's moisture while the two AHAs (Lactic Acid & Glycolic Acid) help to gently exfoliate to reveal younger, firmer looking skin.
The key ingredients across the Elucent range, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are exfoliating and moisturising compounds. AHAs remove dry, dead skin through chemical exfoliation, helping to reveal visibly smoother and younger-looking skin. As more dead skin cells are shed, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced.

Directions

It is important to begin slowly by introducing the lowest level of AHAs to the skin before moving to the higher levels.
Apply moisturiser one or twice daily to clean skin. Avoid contact with eyes or irritated skin. Mild and temporary tingling may occur.

Have used it every day for months and now can't live without it. My skin texture has completely changed - once dry ashy and splotchy skin is now even and glowing. Just give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elucent Body Moisturiser This body moisturiser from Elucent is lovely! The 200mls body lotion comes in a flip top tube which is easy to use. The lotion has a light, subtle fragrance but it is not overly strong. In this thin textured lotion you will find brilliant ingredients that are effective & proven to be good for the skin including 12 per cent AHA and vitamins B3, and E. The AHA's is this product are 8% lactic acid & 4% glycolic acid. Due to the thin textured lotion this body moisturiser is easy to spread onto the skin & absorbs quickly into the skin. I personally prefer the texture of this product as it quickly absorbed & doesnt leave my skin sticky or tachy to touch. It actually feels soft & smooth thanks to the added emoliants as well. After using this product for a few months I have noticed a difference to my body. My skin is soofter & smoother with no dry or textured skin. The skin feels less rough& very much improved. I have noticed a slight improvement to my light pigmentation on my arms thanks to the added ahas and vitamins B3. I have noticed the crepiness & fine lines on my body have decreased but I believe you need to use this quite longterm for excellent results. My skin has never been dry or felt over exfoliated. This product definately helps to elimiate ingrowns & even up my leg texture. Its also excellent for the feet especially in a pair of socks overnight. I personally prefer to put this cream on at night due to the added ahas - can increase the risk of sundamage & I wear spf in the day. While the lotion is runnier & thinner in texture the 200ml product lasts months & I highly recommend it for all those looking for active body products that make a difference - I will continue to buy it. TIPS- - The lotion is runny & thin- open the container gently as it can run out - Only start by using once a day or a few times a week as it contians aha's. Can make skin sting to starting aha's. - Be careful about sun exposure as can make skin more sensitive to sun damage/ sunburn due to the added aha's. Made in AUSTRALIA by EGO brand. Ego states they do not test on animals. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonders This product is light, non-greasy and easy to apply. I found that although it appeared expensive it was actually not, as a little goes a long way. The lotion is quickly and easily absorbed, toning and firming the skin. With continued use, I found a tremendous improvement in the texture and softness of my skin and a reduction in fine lines. Ego has a very good reputation in skin care and this product complements the range.

After using this for around a month, I am so impressed that i will continue to purchase despite the high price. I found that it made my skin tighter, smoother and generally helping to make it clear and soft. I use this once a day (usually after my morning shower) and it has become an important part of my everyday routine.

It doesn't leave me feeling "buttered up" like others do but has a really nice consistency and is quick absorbing too. It's really easy to apply and rub in as it's not to thick but it's not going to run anywhere either. It also keeps my skin soft all day and I can see a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin, no more dry flakey bits! I am looking forward to using this in winter. Sensitive skin users be cautious with this "Antiaging" range though, I haven't had any problems with this product but if I apply to much of the face moisturier or night cream my face will sting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smooth and soft results Packed with 12% AHAs (make sure you do a patch test!) along with vitamins B3 and E, this is more than just a moisturiser, it is a true anti-aging product. This is reflected in the price, but more importantly, the results The easy-to-use flip top tube makes application quick and fuss-free. A thin-textured lotion, a small amount goes a long way, with the 200ml tube providing plenty of applications. Instantly absorbed, it leaves no greasy residue. The lotion has a subtle scent, that doesn't interfere with your favourite perfume. Upon application it gave my skin a radiant sheen. Continued use has resulted in smooth, softer skin. Rather than being a superficial moisturiser, I believe this lotion is making a real difference to my skin. Developed by the Australian Ego Pharmaceuticals brand, this is part of a suite of anti-aging moisturising products that is well worth exploring.

I am pleased that I had been given this opportunity, as I previously had not heard of this brand.<br />I was happy to see that the Elucent range comes under the "umbrella" of well known and trusted Australian company Ego, so immediately I was expecting a lot from this range.<br />The body moisturiser contains vitamins B3 and E, both known for their anti ageing qualities. Also within this body moisturiser is the active component of AHAs, which have been proven to be effective at chemical exfoliation. There is a concentration of 12 %, so it is recommended to patch test before applying all over the body, as it can be known to<br />cause sensitivity.<br />The Elucent body moisturiser comes in a large 200 ml tube. Complete with flip top lid, this moisturiser is released easily from an appropriately sized hole under the lid. I find that a flip top lid is much better than a screw top lid to cap a lotion, especially when opening and closing during application, because if there's product on the hands they can become too slippery to handle a a screw-top.<br />The moisturiser is bordering on having a fluid lotion consistency, not too thick or thin. It has a natural aquatic type scent, not over powering, or too feminine.<br />The lotion smoothed easily over my body, from the bottom of my feet to the decolletege. I only needed a couple of squirts from the tube to achieve an all over body moisturisation. The lotion is quite rich, so I was unsure as to whether it would soak in fast enough to use after my morning shower, a hectic time of the day. I was happy to note that there wasn't too much waiting time before I could dress. The lotion disappeared into my skin leaving it soft and silky smooth. I<br />had forgotten to patch test before use on my entire body, oops.. but luckily, I did not have any adverse reactions to the AHAs in this product. It was gentle on my skin and nourished it by providing much needed hydration. Effectively ridding my skin of dead skin cells, I no longer have unsightly cracked heels, and I also find that it's not necessary to moisturise in the evenings. Even on the days that I have run out of time to apply the body lotion, my skin has not suffered, remaining soft and smooth.<br />Although this body lotion is directed for us older ladies, I would recommend it to anyone needing that extra moisture kick for their body. I am impressed by Elucent Body Moisturiser!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective body cream for soft and smooth skin The Elucent Body Moisturiser contains effective emollients that rehydrate and help lock in the skin's moisture while the combination of 12 per cent AHA and vitamins B3, and E reveals visibly firmer skin with an improved texture, firmness and tone, helping to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.<br />The cream has a subtle scent and absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving any greasy residue. After using it for a few days, my skin is soft and smooth, and pigmentation on my chest seems to have started to fad, and small pimples on my shoulders seems to have cleared up as well. With the AHA contents it is also effective as prevention against ingrown hairs. At $49 this is not cheap, but a little goes a long way, and considering the results it has given, I think it is worth its price tag. I can definitely recommend this.

It goes on your skin so beautifully, soaks in without leaving any greasy residue and makes my skin feel lovely and soft. The scent is subtle but pleasant. The packaging is a great big tube that seems to last forever as a little goes a long way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diminished my chicken pox spots! I purchased the Elucent Body Moisturiser after contracting Chicken Pox at the age of 21. The pox marks were primarily on my stomach, shoulders and thighs. After using the product immediately after healing of the pox, it greatly reduced any scarring. The formulation has packed with great ingredients, glycolic acid which acts as a chemical exfoliant, vitamin B3 (research may suggest it protects against skin cancer?) and vitamin E The lotion is very light, actually, I wouldn't even consider it a lotion. It could also be used as a serum on the face if you tend to have oily skin (use at night).
