General Information

Elucent Anti Ageing Eye Cream gently smooths fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

The key ingredients across the Elucent range, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are exfoliating and moisturising compounds. AHAs remove dry, dead skin through chemical exfoliation, helping to reveal visibly smoother and younger-looking skin. As more dead skin cells are shed, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced.

AHAs may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Now, more than ever, it is essential to guard your youthful skin. Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser contains an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect against UVA & UVB radiation while the AHAs continue to work on helping to improve the appearance of the skin. Protect your skin by avoiding prolonged sun exposure. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product. To further the reduce risk of sun damage or premature ageing, cover up with clothing, hats & eyewear.

Directions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great Ego product - Elucent anti ageing eye cream I was fortunate to receive this product at the BH Best In Beauty 2018 Marketplace. The product comes in a 15g white tube with the brand Elucent in a red rectangle on the side of the tube. The same design is on the box. I always like to use an eye cream, as the area around my eyes tends to get very dry, and of course, I want to keep the crows feet and wrinkles from getting any worse if possible. The Elucent anti ageing eye cream has a pointy nozzle. Be careful not to sqeeze too hard as the cream comes out quickly. I sqeeze a small amount onto my finger and dab it around my eyes. My eye area immediately feels hydrated. As the eye cream contains AHAs the directions recommend to begin slowly. So only use a small amount at first to see how your skin reacts. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any tingling using this product. This product also contains vitamins B3, C & E and is fragrance free. I feel by using this product every day that it is improving my fine lines and wrinkes. The

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Anti Ageing with AHAs I received a tube of Elucent Anti Ageing Eye Cream at the beautyheaven Best in Beauty event, and although I have used many products from the Ego range I had not used an Elucent product before. I have been using eye creams for over 30 years and although the ageing/sun damage around my eyes is quite minimal I still apply eye creams every morning and night to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to improve the skin texture, firmness and tone. What I particularly like about the Elucent eye cream is the addition of 4% AHAs, plus vitamins B3, C and E which are known for their anti-aging qualities. I can’t remember ever having used an eye cream that contained AHAs so I’m quite excited to have this active ingredient helping the delicate skin around my eyes. The white gel cream is very light in consistency, glides effortlessly over the skin and absorbs very quickly. I haven’t experienced any tingling or irritation while using the cream. The cream is also fragrance free. The cream is packaged in a soft, plastic tube which holds 15g of product. Only a small amount of product is needed so the small nozzle applicator is perfect for dispensing just the right amount of eye cream. I’ve only been using this eye cream each morning for about four weeks (I use a different eye cream at night) so I have a while to go to really test the effectiveness of the product but so far I am enjoying the small improvements I am seeing. I am more than happy to continue using the Elucent Anti Ageing Eye Cream to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to improve the texture, firmness and tone of the delicate skin around my eyes.

I have enjoyed this product and am happy with the results The product has no fragrance and has a cream texture which absorbs easily into the skin. The nozzel is small so you can control the amount of product dispensed and is filled with vitamins B3, C and E which promote healthy skin. AHA's are included which didn't cause any issues for my skin I am happy to keep using this product and repurchase in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light eye serum This is a lovely light eye serum that's perfect for oily skin and warmer months. I feel like I need to layer moisturiser on top because it's not hydrating enough, but that's just for my skin. It glides on well and is absorbed quickly. My skin looks and feels hydrated and smooth. The tube is great at dispensing the product hygienically. It's a good size too, it will last for a long time because a little goes a long way. I love how it's fragrance free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Australian made! and does a pretty good job too This comes boxed and inside is a 15gr squeeze tube and product flyer. It is made in Australia by Ego Pharmaceuticals. It has a narrow nozzle so it's easy to dispense the right amount of cream with no waste The cream itself is a light, moist gel-type cream with little scent. It contains 4% glycolic acid (a type of AHA) as well as panthenol and vitamins B3, C and E. Sounds good right? When you first apply you do get some tingling, as I am well used to using acids on my skin it was ok for me, but if you are new to acids then maybe only use 2-3 times a week to begin with I like the light gel cream formula, it is quite moisturizing and easily absorbed. I do however layer a thicker eye cream over the top of it to seal in the moisture otherwise it can evaporate/disappear quickly. A good solid performer and it's Australian made too, happy to purchase again however only on sale as I think the price is a bit steep for the small amount of product and the actives in it are quite cheap and easy to find and don't warrant such a big price tag.

I won't be purchasing from CW any more as the free postage has been discontinued but as it is still available elsewhere I will buy where postage is free.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Above average eye cream I don't buy magazines frequently but I purchased the Elle magazine (circa 2019) as it had a free full size 15g squeezy tube of Elucent Anti-Ageing Eye Cream. It came boxed with a leaflet about the Elucent Anti-Ageing range. It dispenses out of a thin screw top nozzle. The box states "with 4% AHA’s Vitamins B3, C & E". The AHA or Glycolic Acid is the fourth ingredient on the list. AHA's work in three stages, exfoliation, boosting collagen or elastin growth and hydration. The cream itself is a milky white which I would only apply under one eye (it helps me compare to other brands). Only the tiniest amount is needed. One tube lasted me about four months (using on one eye area). It absorbs well with no stinging or irritation. It's a nice gentle unfragranced eye cream but it's not a holy grail item. I think where it failed with me was in the hydration. My under eye area didn't seem as hydrated as with other products. Made in Australia by Ego Pharmaceuticals. Not tested on animals.
