I have sensitive skin and found it to be the best product for me. Now using the ‘new’ improved formula my face stings after I have applied it. I also liked the old cream as it was light and make my face so refreshed, with the new formula it feels caky and like I need to apply moisturiser again. I now need to find another product.

I have been a long term user of this moisturiser for over 15 years, with others in my family for even longer.. this new formula does not work! it feels like a completely different product! It no longer absorbs nicely into the skin.. instead you're left with a oily sticky residue and it just feels terrible! I still have an old tub to compare with and they are worlds apart.. PLEASE NIVEA, BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!

People always say I look 10 years younger than my actual age and I've attributed this to, what once was, a fantastic daily moisturiser. The new formula just doesn't cut it. Given the avalanche of similar reviews, are you contemplating returning to the old formula? Regards, one 'old', disappointed ex customer.

However, with the new formula, the fresh and refreshing feeling it used to give my skin is completely gone. I’m really disappointed and not happy with the new version at all. It’s just not the same as it used to be.

I recently bought the new formula, and must say, I won't be buying Nivea anymore, unless the old formula is re-ntroduced. It is not thick enough, makes my skin sting, and does not leave my skin feeling moisturised. Feel free to keep the new formula, but please reintroduce the old one, and sell them side by side. Am feeling very sad about the change!!!

The new vegan formula is absolutely awful. It doesn't absorb into my skin properly and feels like there is a coating on my skin, but worse of all, my skin has reacted badly to it. No more Nivea for me!! Will now be searching for an alternative. Please bring back your original formula!

It sits on my skin, doesn't moisturise anything, almost foams up when rubbing it in, it's just a mess of a product now. Like a completely different product than the original. Begging for the original to be brought back.

Unfortunately, the new formulation will not absorb into my skin and will instead just sit on my skin; making it a huge problem to put makeup on top; especially on hot days my face is always slippery. Please bring back the old formulation! If you wanted to make one more eco friendly or vegan, maybe you should have released a new product line instead. I am deeply disappointed and I wish I had known as I would have stocked up; not that it needed to be changed anyway.

It no longer absorbs or moisturises the skin. Instead, it just sits on top, leaving white streaks everywhere and failing to do its job. Rather than recommending alternative products, none of which compare to the original Nivea Soft, could you confirm whether your quality team plans to address the many negative reviews from the past 3 months and bring back the original formula? I'm all for sustainability, but the product needs to actually work! This is so disappointing!

It also leaves my skin feeling tight and I’ve started to break out on my cheeks. I’ve been using Nivea soft for 20 years and even got my mum onto it ten years ago. We have LOVED it and I’m devastated with this new formula. Just devastated.

I remember being excited that I found something that worked for my skin and has continued to work for decades. recently opened my latest purchase of Nivea Soft and found it sat on my skin, didn’t absorb quickly, needed lots of rubbing in and didn’t feel as moisturising on my face. I understand the push to be more sustainable. However I expect more sustainable products to work the same. I’ll keep trying mine for a week - if not happy my 2 new 200ml pots will end up in landfill. I’m also looking for advice to find stockists of the old formula so I can get some while looking for an alternative. I’ve tried other Nivea products but they haven’t been nearly as good for my daily skin routine (and budget). Hoping there is still old stock around or the old formula can be sold alongside the new one.
