Rated 4 out of 5 by Sam91 from Slightly brighter teeth! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colgate Optic White Express White claims to whiten teeth in just 3 days. Whilst this statement did not prove to be exactly true in my experience, I still greatly enjoyed using this product as my regular toothpaste. The toothpaste itself is white in colour and does not have a strong taste. It leaves my teeth feeling sparkling clean, so I would continue to use this toothpaste for that reason alone. I do also like the flashy red packaging and the fact that the tube can be stood upright. My teeth are quite white already, and I find this toothpaste did make them more brighter over weeks of use. I did not notice a difference after 3 days. However, I would still choose this toothpaste over the other ones available on the market. I'm happy with gradual whitening and a toothpaste that helps me maintain a bright smile. Additionally, it did not increase sensitivity. I will continue to purchase this product.

Not necessarily for the taste, more to help me wake up and get through the day! Having said that, my teeth hate me for it! They're nowhere near as white as they used to be and it peevs me to no end! I care a lot about my teeth and try to take good care of them. I am always using different whitening products to try and magically tint them back to white, however it just doesn't do enough. I have been using this Colgate Optic White Express White over a period of several weeks brushing twice daily and thus far I have noticed a difference in the shade of my teeth. Immediently after brushing I can tell they are much whiter, however a few hours later, after eating and drinking, the colour of my teeth seems to dull back to yellow again. :( I do really enjoy using this formula though as it is super minty fresh and makes my whole mouth feel super clean and refreshed! I like how the tube is designed to stand upright and the lid snaps shut securely. The bright red metalically colour is eye-catching and I love how it looks in my bathroom. On a level of 1 to 5 stars, I give 4 only because I feel it's whitening benefits are on par with all others I have used on the market, so as much as I wanted to be blown away, I wasn't. It did not make my teeth sensitive either which was great as it did have a warning on the tube. I will continue to use this and would happily purchase in the future. :D

While I didn't feel my teeth became dramatically whiter, they were much brighter and my smile did have a glow to it. I would re-purchase this product as I do find it effective with continuous use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sharnsb from a great start [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that this tube was amazing, the design was very unique, loved the stand up tube, yet i thought the amount in the tube did go through more than my normal toothpaste. The flavour was not what i was use to, it did not leave that minty flavour i love after brushing. After two days i found my teeth did become whiter, i was shocked to see how much of a difference it did make. After a week i found that my teeth were noticably whiter, i do like that this is an at home product, meaning that i am not paying the dentist the big dollars. After two weeks, what can i say, i will buy this product, when it is on sale, as the price point for me is a little high, yet i will look for it when on sale at woolies or priceline. I would love to continue to use and see what improvement and ongoing use will do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by missmoni from Great toothpaste but not much whitening [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to be invited to take part in this trial because my teeth are a little discoloured and I have thought about whitening procedures for the future. The toothpaste is nicely packaged in a metallic red tube with a strong cap which also acts as the base so it can be stood on your bathroom vanity which I love, can't stand gooey toothpaste lids that won't close properly. I love the flavour and most of all texture of the toothpaste, it was very refreshing and the texture was slightly gritty which made me feel like my whole mouth was uber clean and didn't need to worry about breath. I looked forward to brushing my teeth with this toothpaste every morning and night and couldn't wait to see the whitening effect. Unfortunately there wasn't much whitening after all but I would say I could see my teeth were slightly brighter yet no one else noticed any change. I continued using it for over 4 weeks and didn't see too much improvement but I will continue using it to the end and will most likely by it again because I love its cleaning capabilities and there was some brightness after all.

The Colgate Optic White Express has a nice, refreshing minty flavour which I really enjoy but it is slightly different to what you would expect a mint toothpaste to taste like, the packaging is quite standard for toothpaste but the large lid makes it easy to stand up with the rest of my daily products, rather than having it lay on the bathroom counter-top, which keep everything looking very neat and organised. The product is very easy to use, just like any other toothpaste and it always left my teeth and mouth feeling very clean. After 3 days I carefully inspected my teeth to see if I was having a good result and I do believe I saw a very slight change but I can't be confident enough to say that I most definitely saw that my teeth were whiter, after about day 5 though I was very confident that my teeth were looking brighter and I have had slow but continual progress in the colour of my teeth since. I am really pleased with how my teeth are looking and I'll continue to use and purchase the toothpaste and I would also recommend it to others, although the change wasn't hugely significant after 3 days I still achieved results and I'm very pleased with that. Thank you to BH and Colgate for giving me the opportunity to try this product.

The toothpaste is for twice a day use, it comes in a easy squeeze red tube. The tooth paste tastes minty and fresh, and I used it with my electric toothbrush twice a day. I didn't notice any difference after 3 days but I actually noticed a difference after 5 days. Now I have been using the toothpaste for approx 3 weeks and I would say my teeth a one shade whiter, and I think that's pretty impressive for a toothpaste. I've tried other whitening toothpastes and this is the only one I've actually noticed a difference. Great product

I love the red colour and it kind of makes brushing fun! The actual smell of the product is not too bad nor is it too mint smelling or too zesty. The flavour is quite tolerable as well and this was a huge surprise as other whitening products I have tried have a very distinct chemical smell and taste. Moving onto the actual product itself, it does work! after only a few uses, I noticed that my teeth had become quite a few shades whiter! i use this every day and night and I can see that after a few weeks, my teeth are considerably whiter than before. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try whitening products as it is such a simple and affective way of achieving it!

My choice of beverages can unfortunately lead to stained teeth when consumed regularly, which was why I was eager to start this trial. The first thing I loved about the toothpaste was the packaging. The product comes in a squeeze tube with a secure flip top cap that you can stand upright on your bathroom cabinet. The packaging is convenient and easy, no spills and no wasting any product. The mint flavour of the toothpaste is refreshing without being overpowering. The toothpaste forms a nice foam and really works well to clean the teeth thoroughly. The toothpaste comes with a big claim: whiter teeth in 3 days. With using the product morning and night with my electric toothbrush, after a few days I can honestly say I did notice my teeth looked brighter in appearance. At surface level, they seemed to look less stained. I was very pleasantly surprised. After continued use over a few weeks, my teeth now definitely look 1-2 shades whiter. Without even telling my work colleagues and friends that I was trialling the toothpaste, I received quite a few comments on my teeth looking whiter and brighter, asking if I had been doing anything different. I was very happy to see that it wasn't just me perceiving my teeth to be whiter, but that others had noticed the change too. I will definitely continue to purchase this toothpaste. I think it is a perfect product to use to maintain a white smile, and to also use initially to brighten your teeth by 1-2 shades. Affordable price, great results.

I have overall really enjoyed using this product. I have found that this cleans my teeth very well and my mouth feels clean and fresh all day. This toothpaste has a heating sensation when you are using it and that can take a little getting used to. The toothpaste also foams up quite a lot and although I found this to be a little odd at the start, I was used to it later on. The size of this toothpaste is perfect, it takes up very little space in the bathroom which I love! In regards to how well this whitens teeth, I would have to say I saw a difference in the colour of my teeth. This wasn't a significant difference in colour but given how well it cleans my teeth I was happy to use the product. I wouldn't however use this toothpaste simply for the whitening factor as for me it didn't have a significant impact.

I like the packaging of the product in it's stand-up tube, making it easier to leave on the bathroom counter. The stand-out red is also good making it easy to locate especially in the morning. A bit of background on me, 1) I am a coffee drinker (1-2 cups daily), and 2) I have not used any other whitening toothpaste before The product is a bit more "liquid" than normal toothpaste and not exactly off-white in colour. Within 5 days of continuous use, I saw a difference in my teeth. I like the result but the taste is too strong for my liking. I have no problems with the frothing nor did I note any changes of sensitivity in my gums/teeth. Price wise, it is good when compared to the expensive dental treatments done at the dentist. I will repurchase this product but hope that the taste will change/be changed to suit more users.

Who doesn't want their teeth to look whiter, even if your teeth aren't terribly stained or yellow looking? My teeth are in pretty good condition so I really didn't expect a huge improvement in the whiteness of my teeth using this product. It claims to whiten the teeth in just 3 days so I used it morning and night for a week to test it out. The tube is on the small side I think for the cost of the product but you don't use it as much I guess and it is certainly a cost effective form of teeth whitening. The packaging is the signature red of the optic white range. I love the large flip top lid, which lets it stand upside down on your sink/vanity and makes dispensing really quick and easy. I quite enjoyed the "hot" minty flavour of the toothpaste and although it didn't feel abrasive on my gums or teeth I could sense it was not as smooth as a regular toothpaste. After using this toothpaste my teeth felt smooth and clean and my breath was freshened. After 2-3 days I did notice an overall improvement in the brightness and "sparkly-ness" of my teeth but without them necessarily looking whiter. Although by the end of the week I think they did appear slightly whiter than before I started. Apart from that I noticed I had no increased sensitivity from the toothpaste, which can be a problem for some whitening products. I wouldn't use this continually as an everyday toothpaste for the long-term, as I believe the hydrogen peroxide (whilst in a small and enamel safe amount) could potentially get a little damaging to the enamel after extended continued use. However I would definitely continue to purchase this toothpaste as something to use now and again when I feel like my teeth need a little brightening and would definitely recommend it to others.

This Colgate whitening toothpaste comes in an attractive red 85g tube. The flavour and scent is fresh mint which is quite pleasant and refreshing. The toothpaste itself is a white colour and the texture is similar to standard toothpastes. This toothpaste claims to deliver whiter teeth in 3 days. My teeth were already fairly white so I wasn't expecting dramatic results. I did notice that my teeth looked slightly whiter after using this toothpaste for a week. I have been using this toothpaste for almost four weeks now. I found it to be gentle on my teeth and gums and my teeth are looking whiter which I am very pleased with. I am happy with the results and for $9.99 I feel that this whitening toothpaste represents good value for money.

I love the red packaging and the refreshing mint flavour. I found the texture to be the same as normal toothpastes. It was gentle on my teeth and gums and I experienced no sensitivity. This toothpaste left my smile looking brighter and my teeth looking at least a shade whiter after continued use. I will be purchasing it and using it in the future in place of my regular toothpaste. At $9.99 for 85g I think it is good value for money. I would happily recommend this product to others looking for a hard working toothpaste that delivers a whiter and brighter smile.

I love the bright metallic red upside down tube, which makes dispensing and standing the product on the bench a breeze, and makes the bench look neater as I hate having tubes laying around. The first thing I noticed when using this toothpaste was how well it foamed up, it was amazing. The minty fresh feeling lasted awhile after using as well as the squeaky clean teeth feeling also. However I didn't really notice any chance in the whiteness of my teeth until I had been using the toothpaste for well over 10 days, and even then I will say it is only a teensy bit whiter than before. I had been using the Colgate optic White and total whitening toothpastes previously, so maybe that's why. Overall I like this toothpaste more than the regular optic white as it has a better minty-ness to it and it really cleans my teeth better too. I would recommend this toothpaste to anyone looking for a nice minty, foaming and whitening toothpaste!

I had a pretty good experience with this product. For starters, I used to drink coffee but now I exclusively drink tea on a daily basis. My teeth are stained and slightly yellow. I noticed my teeth were slightly whiter after 3 days and after 5 days, I could tell that it wasn't as yellow or stained as before. After using it for 3 weeks, my teeth are now two shades lighter and brighter. I don't have sensitive teeth and I did not experience any discomfort from using this product. This product comes in a flashier-looking muted red tube and I think this is definitely worth paying for if you want to use a fuss-free toothpaste that gradually whitens your teeth with consistent use.

I have struggled with the whiteness of my teeth for as long as I can remember and was keen to give this product a go. The product came in a free-standing squeezable tube and was incredibly easy to use. The lid was sturdy as to not make a mess however easy enough to open at 6am when really, nobody should be awake. The paste itself has a minty scent which is pleasant, fresh smelling and not at all overpowering. It had a lovely minty taste which left a slight tingle in my mouth. The paste was white with a slight gritty feeling for extra cleaning power I assume. It was incredibly easy to use, frothed up as much as I had hoped and made my entire mouth feel properly cleaned. I have been using the toothpaste for roughly 3 weeks now and I have noticed that my teeth have whitened by a few shades, which is amazing however I am not sure that my teeth were immediately whiter in three days. This is fine however as your teeth would be too white by the end of the product anyway. My partner has also been using this toothpaste twice daily and his results are the same as mine so this product works well. What's really amazing about this toothpaste is that it provides a fast and easy way to get whiter teeth in just 3 days so it seems like it is less hassle compared to any other teeth whitening methods. I have been using Colgate Optic White Express Paste both morning and night for these past few weeks and I can happily say that my teeth have noticeably become whiter and brighter in appearance. The toothpaste comes in a metallic red tube with a flat lid attached to the tube, therefore making it easy and convenient to store. The packaging of the toothpaste makes it easy to dispense the product onto your toothbrush. The appearance of the paste is white and has a mild minty and fresh scent. I am very pleased with how my teeth has transformed over these weeks through continuous use of this paste. The changes are evident through how my teeth used to look from being dull and lacking whiteness to now looking much more brighter and white. I like how the tube is upside down and is able to sit on the bench without having to put it in a holder. As the lid is wide I find that the toothpaste doesn't squeeze through the lid and make a mess and leave the lid sticky as other toothpastes do. The toothpaste is easy to use as you just squeeze the the exact amount that you want. It's a white paste with a mint flavour and foams up quickly once on your teeth. The toothpaste claims 'Whiter teeth in 3 days' however this was not the case for me as I didn't notice any results after 3 days as it took over a week to see slightly whiter teeth. My teeth aren't dramatically whiter (although my teeth aren't very yellow) but I noticed them to be a shade or two whiter which was a good result to see. What I love about this toothpaste is that it keeps my teeth feeling cleaner for much longer than other toothpaste. When I run my tongue over my teeth at the end of the night they still feel clean, smooth and plaque free compared to when I use other toothpaste. I would recommend it to others to try if they are after a few shades whiter teeth although I would inform them not to expect a miracle.

I have been using this toothpaste for the past three weeks and am quite pleased with the results I got. Optic White is used the same as other toothpastes and I think this is what I liked the most about it. There was no need for dentist appointments or whitening strips to achieve a whiter smile. I used Optic White in place of my normal toothpaste and within three days (yes it was actually three for me!) I saw whiter teeth. While it wasn't a huge three or four shades whiter it was at least one and to me that was a pretty good result after only using for three days. The toothpaste is a fresh minty flavour and foams quite well. While I did experience some mild sensitivity this did go away after a few days. My teeth are currently about one and a half shades whiter than before I started and although I don't think they will get much whiter with this product I am pleased with the result a toothpaste was able to achieve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colgate Optic White Express White is a whitening toothpaste that claims to whiten teeth in three days, doesn't that sound amazing!The toothpaste foamed up really well. Before trialling this toothpaste I was originally using the regular Optic White (hoping for pearly whites, but was not a fan of the taste.) My first use of the Express White toothpaste was amazing they looked so white & bright. Although after continuous use I saw no other major changes. Every now & then they looked a little whiter. I did like the fresh mint taste. Packaging is great and easy to use & dispense toothpaste. The toothpaste foamed up really well. Texture of the paste is like all your other toothpaste, after first use I felt like or thought it had very tiny micro beads that scrubbed my teeth. Will continue to use this toothpaste till its empties x fingers crossed x for pearly whites.

The fact that it is a stand up tube,i know that i can dispense the product til the very last drop. Easy to use and dispense just the right amount to the strength of the squeeze you give to the tube. texture and feel: White colour, a bit grainy-ish and warm when use in my mouth. It foams up quite quickly,and as i read from some comments of some of BH members, now i know because of the SLS content in it. And i am not a big fan of this finding. it is quite minty and very refreshing actually. And it gives a fresh and very cleam feeling in my mouth. Result : I find that my teeth do look whiter within 2 weeks of use. I have sensitive teeth but i find that this toothpaste doesn't add into the sensitivity, which is what i was worried about. Verdict: whiter teeth in 3 days is a big claim! I didnt see any difference in my teeth colour within 3 days, more after 1 week. i like the freshness and clean feeling it leaves me. I have to say it gets rid of some bad breath (say after i eat dishes with garlic and onions ), which is a plus. i dont like the way it foams up so much, like i am brushing my teeth with soap. i would just finish up this tube and not continue to buy and use it. I was using the Colgate whitening pen a while back and I noticed that it did whiten my teeth somewhat and then I stopped using it and my teeth went back to their original colour. I was very excited to try this and the easy of use and the clearly visible results are what make this product a winner. I do believe though that this is not going to whiten my teeth in the long run and as soon as I stop using it my teeth will not be as white. Overall, I would repurchase this product if I find it on sale and I would recommend it to others.

Let me just preface this by saying that I was using the Colgate whitening toothpaste prior to using this one, and I did notice a great deal of difference with that one. However, given that I was already using a whitening toothpaste before I used this one, I think that impacted on how massive I difference I could have seen otherwise. This toothpaste comes in a metal tube with a sturdy flip lid, and the texture itself is quite soft. This doesn't cause any tingling or sensitivity and it also isn't quite AS minty as I would have thought it would be. For some reason, I find this quite frothy. I didn't see any difference after three days, but 2 weeks down the line, my teeth do look a little whiter than they were. Rated 4 out of 5 by Petite Pivoine from Easy to use with fast results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used countless 'whitening' toothpastes and products before, so I was sceptical as to how effective Colgate could be. I was pleasantly surprised as this simple toothpaste had the same if not better results as dedicated whitening products. Although my teeth are quite sensitive, I did not experience any discomfort whatsoever from brushing. I just had my wisdom teeth out so haven't been able to brush rigorously for a few days, which has resulted in my teeth not being as white. What I noticed is that as well as general whitening for my teeth, it visibly removed plaque. Another factor I loved was the quick turnaround; it only took a few days to see a difference in my teeth. This is better than what any other toothpaste I've tried. I'm definitely sticking with this toothpaste for the foreseeable future and am enjoying my whiter teeth!

I thought it was like any other toothpaste initially with a strong smell which I figured was the reason it would whiten my teeth. However after a week of using it I found it very abrasive on my teeth and gums to the point where my teeth were feeling sensitive. I did think it whitened my teeth but I could not use this toothpaste constantly, I would only be able to use it sporadically as its very abrasive.

After brushing with this toothpaste my teeth felt clean and brighter, I did not feel as though it whitened my teeth in an “express” way as it is labelled express whitening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LauraH8 from Colgate Optic White Toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Colgate Optic White Express for 7 days, morning and night using an electric toothbrush for 2 minutes each brush, I have noticed a slight change in colour, nothing drastic but I must say it does make your teeth feel clean, it is a strong mint flavour so some people might not enjoy such a strong toothpaste. It sells itself as being effective on stains that have built up over time, mine are 35 years and I don’t look at them and say what a difference, maybe need to use it for longer than 7 days.
