Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth a try for the price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trialling this toothpaste along with the whitening pen (strange!) and the mouthwash (horrible taste) so I can't say with any certainty which product had the effect. However I can definitely see a slight whitening (as mentioned elsewhere 3 shades lighter is very subtle) so something is working! I don't mind the taste of the toothpaste and haven't had any sensitivity which are good points. Since cleaning my teeth this morning I've eaten and drunk coffee but my teeth still feel quite clean which is very nice. Hopefully I'll keep seeing improvements and I may well buy it again when it runs out.

I was left with bad breath, so I am told. I didn't use the product for more than 3 days so I couldn't review the whitening effect on my teeth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried the Original Colgate Optic white before so I was really pleased to try this express white for faster results. Colgate claims whither teeth in three days however I didn't see results in three days infact after using it for a whole month I only see a slight change in my teeth whiteness. Nothing drastic though. I feel the taste of the toothpaste really weird. I can taste the chlorine in it. Tastes like pool water to me. I found the toothpaste really cleans my teeth . It foams up in my mouth and I feel this gives my mouth a cleaner feel than regular toothpastes. In my opinion its an expensive toothpaste which I can't buy regularly because I didn't see much results. I have used other whitening products and they perform better than this product. Sorry Colgate ....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fresh clean teeth [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BB and Colgate for letting me be part of this trial.I am a huge tea drinker and have only recently given up smoking so I was very keen to trial this toothpaste.It did not give me whiter teeth in 3 days but during the trial my teeth did look a little cleaner and possibly whiter.This toothpaste was fighting against years of stains so even the slightest in changes was welcomed.I liked the sleek red tube packaging that allowed it to stand up on my bathroom cabinets edge and the flavor was pleasant.I would recommend this product to anyone.

Thanks BH! :) I have tried a multitude of whitening toothpastes in the past and have seen little to no results with all of them. Unfortunately, this toothpaste didn't exactly meet my expectations and its claims on the packaging as well. I did not notice whiter teeth after just three days. I really liked the packaging of this product. The red really stands out and the tube conveniently sits upright. The toothpaste tastes really good, no strange chemical taste could be detected. It also foams up REALLY well. I do feel that it did a good job in cleaning my teeth, they felt very clean after every brush. I just didn't really notice much change in the colour of my teeth, definitely not after three days. As I look in the mirror now (I'm about 3/4 through the tube), perhaps they look slightly brighter, but the yellow in my teeth is very much there. It is a miniscule difference. However I didn't really see much lightening of my teeth after the 3rd day as it claimed, it was more like 1-2 weeks for me to see any real result. My teeth are definitely whiter now, so I'm happy with the product. I have used other products purchased at the supermarket for a lot less and I feel has similar results. After a week I notice a gradual improvement. The product was easy to use love the flap cap as I always prefer it compare to some which has the screw cap. I find it's easier to open and close. Love the red shining packaging which will stands out in the shelf. The smell it's a big strong at first but I grow out of it after a few days. From the packaging I was expecting something with immediate result. The product itself it's gentle enough on my gums without making it sensitive like some others whitening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average toothpaste, average results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i first received this toothpaste I was very excited because i excepted to see great results as it was a Colgate product. however, after using it for a few weeks, i did not notice a huge difference in the whiteness of my teeth. First off, the packaging of this product is nice and compact and stands out in the bathroom well. I did not experience any discomfort in the taste or smell of the actual toothpaste so that was great as i was using it very often. However, after the first few days, i did notice that my teeth were a bit whiter than they were used but I feel as if the more you use this, the less noticeable it becomes. Although the whiteness in my teeth has improved, I can't say that i have seen anything dramatic or any results overnight. However, for a stable and good product which will work well, this is not too bad.

The packaging is the same, and I really like that it can stand. The big lid is handy and not fiddly, and it works well. The product is easy to squeeze out, with no hassle, no fuss. The paste foams up nicely and leaves a fresh feeling in your mouth. I remember the regular Optic White tasted so chemically and strong that it burnt my mouth, but perhaps this is gentler, or perhaps because I have used more whitening products since that I am used to the taste, but this taste didn't bother me much at all. As for the results, I don't think there was a huge difference after three days, and even after weeks of use I don't think my teeth have whitened enough for anyone but me to notice. It's a good everyday whitening toothpaste to use for gradual whitening and maintenance, but I wouldn't use this if I needed whiter teeth for a special occasion in a hurry. It's a good product, I just didn't find the results as dramatic as claimed.

I have a cap on a front tooth so I can tell if the surrounding teeth have changed shade at all. Unfortunately they didn't. Not after 3 days, not after a month. However it's still a good toothpaste. My teeth definitely felt very clean. I like the wintergreen flavour, it's not as minty as I'm used to, but my breath still felt fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the toothpaste for a few weeks now but unfortunately I have to say it did not whiten my teeth as it claimed to do. I did not notice any change in the whiteness of my teeth after 3 days or even after weeks of use. However the packaging is quite nice and easy to use- the tube can sit upright on a bench which is handy. Before trying this product I was slightly concerned as I have heard people say before that whitening products can make your teeth feel sensitive or painful and also ruin your enamel but I am happy to say that this product did not cause me any discomfort or sensitivity after using frequently. So if you are concerned about that and you want to try this, go ahead and get this! Maybe you will have a better whitening result than me. The tube also claims that it won't damage enamel which put my mind at ease. In terms of the actual toothpaste- it has quite an overwhelming chemical-like taste (assuming that is the active whitening ingredient) and it is not really very minty so it doesn't give you that nice minty breath that regular toothpastes do. Overall this toothpaste still cleaned my teeth quite well and wasn't too different to regular toothpaste apart from the taste. I didn't notice any changes in the colour of my teeth, but was happy that it didn't cause me tooth sensitivity or pain. I loved the taste of this, it wasn't a metallic taste of overly foamy. It kept my breath fresh and I liked the minty taste to it. I love the packaging! Beautiful shiny red that squeezes super easy. Whiter teeth in 3 days? No… I don't think so. After 3 days I hadn't noticed too much of a difference however after 3 weeks I have noticed my teeth are a little whiter which is good. I haven't noticed any sensitivity due to the tooth paste which I have found with the original formula of this tooth paste. I do not smoke but do drink tea and coffee- as a result I have slightly yellow discoloured teeth- not anything noticeable, but a little bit of whitening wouldn't be turned down. After 3 days of using this toothpaste, I didn't notice a difference in colour of my teeth. A few weeks down the track, I feel my teeth may be ever so slightly whiter. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small improvement in whiteness :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beware that this particular toothpaste might feel extremely minty the first time you use it, not unlike listerine. But after a few times it feels pretty normal, but still has the warming effect which personally, I don't mind at all. It is appropriately minty in taste as well, which is how I prefer my toothpastes - really can't stand any wacky flavours! This paste leaves me with a very minty mouth afterwards. It also foams up nicely making it more enjoyable to brush - everyone has experienced that liquidy feeling when paste just doesn't hold up and it's kind of gross. So glad that doesn't happen here. As for results, I actually have noticed a slight improvement in the whiteness of my teeth. I wasn't sure this was possible after kind of reaching a plateau with my regular routine that wouldn't allow for any more improvement. This toothpaste has definitely delayed the next step of going to a dentist! I saw results in just under a week of regularly brushing with it, whilst still maintaining my usual routine using floss and listerine. It is really effortless to incorporate this product into your daily life, so I suggest giving it a go, it might surprise you :)

The only thing I didn't like about this was that it didn't clean my teeth as well as it should have. Some of the times I actually had to use another toothpaste before using this one cos it just didn't clean properly. Now my teeth aren't too stained. Sometimes can be a bit yellow and I find that I can use whitening toothpastes for a bit as they work and then they get to a point where it doesn't make a difference. The packagaing is quite pretty, shiny red that feels luxurious. The paste tastes nicely fresh and minty, and it felt like it gave my mouth a thorough clean. However , I didn't really notice my teeth getting any whiter so that was a bit disappointing. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beauty Heaven Trial Team Findings [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used the Optic White toothpaste twice a day for the better part of a month, I feel that this product has been given a fair chance to deliver on its promise of whiter teeth in just 3 days. I have not noticed a dramatic improvement in the colour of my teeth which is unfortunate because I was excited for this product to deliver where others had failed. This toothpaste seems to contain nothing special when compared to other toothpaste on the market. One good thing I can say about it is that it is a power product to kill off bacteria in your mouth including both the top and bottom of your tongue which can harbor germs that cause bad-breathe. Every morning and evening this toothpaste never failed to give me a good kick, leaving me feeling refreshed and my teeth well cared for. I wish I could give this product a higher rating however as I am not impressed with the changes in my tooth colour it has to sit at 3 stars. RESPONSE FROM COLGATE: Hi Roxyprincess, it's Colgate here. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just..toothpaste? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As much as I wanted to LOVE this product, I just couldn't! After using for longer than the minimum 3 day period, I found that although my teeth were definitely clean and white, they weren't much whiter than prior to using this product. The product was easy to use- just as any other toothpaste is. Squeeze a small amount onto your brush and away you go- the premise is simple. I also loved the way in which the packaging can be stood "upside down" to get every last drop of toothpaste out- and take up less benchspace. The product itself smelt fresh and clean, leaving a nice minty, mentholy taste on my tongue. The use of, price point, packaging and more are all great contributions to this product, unfortunately however- i found that this worked the same as any other toothpaste I used, and did not necessarily give me any of the promised results. Although I did not expect a miracle, I was hoping that I would see a noticeable change in the colour of my teeth- and i just couldn't. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would like it to leave breath more mint fresh [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I quite like the style of the toothpaste tube because of it's ability to stand on it's lid. I have been using this product twice daily. There is a slight warming sensation in the mouth and lips when using this. I have to say I really did not enjoy the taste of the toothpaste and it was not all that refreshingly minty in taste for me in comparison to other mint toothpastes I have used. It seemed to have a chemical taste to it. I looked forward to rinsing out as quick as possible after using it. I did find that my teeth felt really clean and even shiny right from my first use. My breath did not feel as fresh though as other toothpastes leave it. After 3 days of use, I did the inspection to see if my teeth looked whiter, but I could not see any difference at that point. After closer to a week though, I did see my teeth looking just that little bit whiter. Even though I did not like the taste, if someone were to ask me about whitening toothpastes, I would recommend this one as I can see that my teeth look fractionally whiter, so it made some sort of difference. I also really liked the clean feel it gave to the surface of my teeth, but I would recommend the use of a mouth wash after use to take away any chemical taste from the toothpaste and to leave your breath feeling more minty fresh. Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's definitely whiter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge coffee and tea drinker so this product is perfect for me. To compare, I brought the Cologate Optic White and used it for a week. I noticed the express whitened my teeth faster. The packaging was smaller than the original. The product felt nice but it didn't leave my mouth with a "clean" feeling. It was very easy to use but I didn't like the fact I have to rinse with little water. What I liked about it is that it didn't make my teeth sensitive like White Glow did.

I normally use cologate tooth paste so i was hopefully this product would do wonders. i cant see a significant difference, i have been using it for over 2 weeks morning and night. I wonder if the reason i cant see a difference is before my teeth aren't too discloloured, i dont drink coffee and now drink limited soft drink. the product is very easy to use and required no extra effort as it was just swapping the tooth paste i already used. i would recommend this product for friends to try because they may have different resolve and the cost is minimimal

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very clean teeth; not as white as promised [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was chosen as part of a trial team and confirm whilst I enjoyed the clean feeling the teeth gave me, they didn't come up as white as I would like. I did notice a few shades lighter after 3 days, but it was only minimal. That said, I found the tooth paste very easy to use and will help keep larger stains at bay (I love coffee). The packaging is the same as regular toothpaste, very easy to use and convenient in doing some form of teeth whitening without having to spend too much time doing so. I particularly liked the clean and fresh feeling from the toothpaste so will continue to use it and repurchase. The toothpaste may work better with other Optic white products to help fasten the whitening process.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much different from the regular Optic White [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a regular coffee drinker and user of Colgate Optic White toothpaste and am satisfied with it whitening ability. After a week of using Optic White Express White, I am sad to say that I did not see any whitening effect above the usual whitening I get from the regular Optic White toothpaste. Ease of Use You just have to use it like a regular toothpaste at least twice a day. I did not have to alter my routine just to use Express White. Packaging The packaging looks very similar to the regular Optic White, with the shiny red box and the shiny red tube. I haven't seen this product on the shelves of my local supermarket, but I can imagine that I may have difficulty differentiating it from the regular Optic White toothpaste. Smell and Taste It had a minty smell with a slight chemical-ly peroxide-y after-taste that I did not find bothersome. In fact, it was much more tolerable than other whitening toothpastes I've tried before. Overall As a whitening toothpaste, I have no doubt that it is effective. My only problem with it is that, in my opinion and 1-week experience, it isn't any more effective than the regular Optic White that I have been using for quite some time. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial Team - Express Optic White [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to try this as part of the Trial Team and have also tried and used the Colgate Optic White original. My teeth are not as white as I'd like it to be and I'm guilty of being a coffee drinker which may have left stains on my teeth. I brush twice a day and the shade is also affected by aging. My generally, I have your average non-white teeth. I like the fresh minty flavour, it's rather refreshing when you brush your teeth. RESULTS: After 3 days of consistent wash using this toothpaste, I did not see any significant change on the shade of my teeth (as they claim it would). After a week, I think I started to see the slightest change in my teeth colour. Upon reading the ingredients, it does contain a harsher/stronger (and hopeful more effective) chemical than the Optic White. I don't expect an instant reaction but I think after continued use, there will be more visible signs of change. It says on the front that it "whitens teeth in three days" so I was pretty stoked to try it out. It comes in an attractive red squeeze tube which makes it easy to distribute onto my toothbrush. The toothpaste itself was minty and I had no sensitivity with my teeth. I used it every morning and night and I didn't notice much of a change. After about 5-6 days I noticed that my teeth were a bit more white than before. As a toothpaste I think it's good, especially for those who don't want have to go through using whitening trays or strips. It's as simple as using your toothpaste morning and night. However I believe the results aren't as strong as other methods. Perhaps with continued use over several weeks teeth might become whiter but it did take awhile to see some results. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Optic semi white [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not see a huge difference using optic white- my teeth are fairly white to begin with and they looked more shiny and maybe half a shade whiter after 4 days using day and night. It is easy to use and the packaging is red and silver with a rainbow sheen, it also features the simple instructions on the side with pictures. I like the fact that the packaging is small and recyclable and a trusted brand 'colgate'. It smells minty and chemically and feels and is used like any other toothpaste. I felt like I was whitening my teeth and see a slight difference- half a shade whiter and more shiny and no sensitivity. I will continue using it to see if it whitens my teeth more. Overall it is a good but don't expect instant results. I give optic white express 3 stars.
