General Information

An all time favourite at Sukin HQ is our Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub! And not just because it's our scrubiest Facial Scrub, or the amazing sweet fruity scent, but because it leaves the skin so soft and glowy! It blends detoxifying Kale, Spirulina and Parsley with natural Jojoba Beads and Bamboo to polish the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and free of impurities. Added Pineapple and Licorice Root Extracts assists to balance excess oils and tone the appearance of skin! TIP: After exfoliating, lightly pat in the Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum for extra hydration and nutritional goodness!

Directions

Apply a small amount to fingertips. In a circular motion, massage into face and neck. Rinse well with warm water. Use once or twice a week

First off the thing I least like about it is probably the smell, compared to other products it smells a bit funky to me but I definitely can deal with it. What I do love is that it's a cream exfoliator, it feels as though it's doing it's job without feeling like i'm drying my face out which I tend to feel like i'm doing with others that have a gel basing. A great product for an even better price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like it I use this to gently exfoliate every two to three days<br />The exfoliater comes in a white cream with small beads<br />The smell is pleasant<br />It doesn’t feel rough on my skin<br />Best part is it’s organic!<br />I use this after my sukin cleanser I feel this doesn’t really cleanse well so i do recommend to cleanse beforehand.. After using this you will notice your left with soft skin and a glow I definitely will purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from typical facial scrub I got it as a present, first of all I wasn't quite lucky with the packaging because the pressed seal (where you usually find the exp and batch number) wasn't sealed properly so I didn't get to use all of them. But I managed to use it for about 6 times. It was a typical facial scrub. I didn't like it for special reasons except that it is natural ingredients, no parabens, SLS and other terrible things inside.<br />What so special in it is the fact that it does NOT use MIRCROBEADS as written on their website: "Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub contains micro jojoba beads and ground bamboo." I am not into scrubbing face, but if you do, please use this product because the fact that it doesn't use microbead. Save the earth, save the oceans and the seafood you eat!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Softer, smoother skin Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub comes in a 125ml plastic green tube with a flip top lid. The scrub is white in colour and lightweight and has a slight cranberry scent. I would prefer if it was unscented however the scent doesn't linger for too long. This product doesn't contain sufates, mineral oils or parabens, is 100% vegan and made in Australia and is not tested on animals. Apply the scrub to your fingertips and massage the scrub in circular motions into your damp face and neck. Rinse well with warm water. This isn't overly grainy or harsh so should also be suitable for people with sensitive skin. The scrub contains micro jojoba beads and ground bamboo which gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it soft, smooth and clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for a great price I've been wanting to try this range of skincare for some time now after noticing how reasonably priced it was. This scrub smells lovely & natural. I did find the product a bit on the thick side, which meant I had to apply more than I usually would in order to get good coverage. However I loved the texture. It was gentle enough not to feel rough & yet I felt like I'd had a good 'scrub'. I think this will make a good everyday scrub & be suitable for all skin types. Now I want to try some of their other products, and I will be buying this one again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle yet effective! Another beautorium find which I haven't had the chance to review yet! I normally avoid facial scrubs, as although I have oily skin I do find them quite drying and irritating for my face, however after hearing great reviews on the Sukin range I thought I would give it a go! The scrub comes packaged in a simple, signature green tube with a flip top lid, perfect for storing in the shower or bathroom. I like that the lid is on the bottom, so that towards the end of the product it is easier to get the last little bit out! The fragrance of the scrub is fantastic! Fresh, clean and slightly fruity- but not overpowering, i find it invigorating in the morning- and it helps me to wake up for the day! The scrub itself has the perfect balance of "roughness"- in the past I have struggled with products which are not abrasive at all, or much too abrasive- the Sukin scrub is gentle but rough enough for me to feel as though there is actually some scrubbing going on! As with all exfoliators I did suffer from a few pimples following use, however they were minimal, and cleared within a day or two. Since using this product, my skin feels less congested, softer and smoother, If I were to incorparate a scrub into my regular routine, this would be the one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nutrient rich exfoliant I got this exfoliating scrub as part of my beautyheaven haul, and I am so glad I chose it because it's such a great scrub. I love that it is all natural and the smell is so pleasant. The texture is creamy with ground bamboo which works away impurities and unclogs pores. I love that micro jojoba beads are included as it adds moisturising properties to the scrub, so it doesn't leave your skin dried out afterwards. I love the overall feeling of this scrub, and it is gentle yet effective at leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. I can see it lasting a while too as I tend to only use scrubs a couple times a week, and mainly use the foaming wash on other days. I would definitely buy this product again once I run out, and I am eager to try the matching face moisturiser as I prefer the smell of it a lot more than that of the original facial moisturiser (which I still really like).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great budget scrub If you're after a natural budget scrub, I don't think you can do better than this one. There are plenty of scrubby bits throughout this creamy scrub for a really good, satisfying clean. The smell is a bit peculiar and I can't quite put my finger on it (is it pickles?), but it doesn't linger so I can't complain too much. I enjoyed the super clean feeling after using this scrub and I was really pleased that there was no film that remained on my skin after rinsing. The scrubby bits are gentle, but this is not something I'd use every day so this tube will last forever and will probably be finished off as a body scrub. This is not the best exfoliating scrub I've ever used and there are other brands that I prefer, but this scrub definitely has a lot going for it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle, Cruelty Free Facial Scrub I got this from the latest Beautorium (Thank you Beautyheaven!) and I love it. It's gentle and suits my sensitive skin but it's also very effective and exfoliates well. It's creamy and not over-drying, has little or no fragrance, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, supple, renewed and fresh. A little goes a long way and I'm very happy with it so I will be buying it in the future. I'm impressed that it's all natural as well as cruelty free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the fresh scent I received this as part of the beautorium mystery bag earlier in the year. This has a really nice fine texture to it without being too mild or too rough on skin, it's the perfect level of exfoliation. The scent is great too, I can't quite pin point what it is but it smells fresh and kind of fruity. The packaging and name of this product are very appealing, I like the idea of a super green smoothie for your face packed full of kale, spirulina, pineapple, you know, stuff you'd put in an edible green smoothie. I haven't actually seen much of a difference in my skin yet but I have been using this very sporadically so I can't really comment on that. This is the first Sukin product I've ever tried and it's made me excited to try more from the range!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good scrub I use this scrub every 3 days over the super greens mask just before I remove it. The little beads are in quite a thicker formula, definitely more on the cream side although I feel like the beads are bigger in size than a lot of other scrubs, and the bead to formula ratio is a little small, I still really enjoy using this scrub. It isn't drying, the fact that there aren't too many beads in it means it doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin, and my skin feels smooth and soft after I use it. The scent is really refreshing and I will most likely repurchase when I am running low.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stuff from Sukin I'm always on the lookout for a new exfoliator, nothing beats the feeling of soft and smooth skin. And make up goes on a lot better on well prepped skin. This scrub is awesome! Surprisingly white and not green (boo!), it smells refreshing and different from the regular Sukin range which is a welcomed change personally! It is gritty and a bit rough, it gets the job done but I wouldn't use it on the daily, maybe 2 or so times a week max. It has a good spread of "beads" small and large to buff skin with. Some "scrubs" are ridiculously sparse and more like cleansers! It comes in a flip-top squeeze tube which is my preferred packaging for products like these because you can easily use them up when it's nearly empty. The ingredients list isn't too shabby either, as it contains no sulphates and no animal derivatives at all! At $13 for 125ml, I would definitely purchase this (thanks BH for the mini beautorium), a little goes a long way so it's good value.

I have loved the few Sukin products I have tried before and this one is no exception. The scrub is a gentle formulation full of natural ingredients. It has a fine texture that is effective yet gentle. My skin was smooth and clean after the first use. It has an unusual but pleasant fragrance. Sweet and earthy. It is also made in Australia which adds to the appeal of this product.

I have a favourite, very well known facial scrub that I have religiously used for the last 10 years - it will take a lot to change me! But I was happy to give this a shot. The scrub comes in a dark green squeeze tube with a simple to use flip top. It has a great uni-sex look and my husband actually picked it up in the bathroom and took a look at it too, even going so far as to use it! I'd say it's a great product for both males and females, teens and adults, so a great buy for all the family to use. I didn't really notice a scent - there was something very faint there, but I guess because it's natural and supergreens it's not really meant to have a strong scent! The product came out a bit like a cream cleanser consistency, which I prefer. It easily spread between my hands and then I applied to my face. I could feel some small grainy bits, but I will be honest, I didn't really feel like it was a good scrub. I do prefer a really strong scrub however, so this is personal preference. If you didn't like something so strong, this is perfect. My skin felt hydrated and refreshed after using. The cream like consistency meant that it was gentle on skin and not drying at all. I like cream cleansers as I have sensitive skin, and I'd be tempted to use this as part of my normal daily routine, particularly at only $12.95 - that's cheaper than my usual natural cream cleanser!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, gentle exfoliator This gentle exfoliator would be perfect or anyone new to exfoliating or that doesn't like rough, gritty exfoliators. This one is very light and gentle; you don't feel like you're sloughing cells, just gently washing your face. And you feel like your face is clean! It has a nice soft, squeaky clean feel about it. The smell is awesome. No overpowering at all, very light and pleasant AND doesn't linger! I was dubious, not sure what I was expecting given the name and referencing to Kale and the like. But it's not hipster or just running with the current fad, it's actually quite effective. My only note would be, the reason I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars, is because it did make me break out. However all exfoliators do, but this one wasn't too extreme. I pull use it twice a week with only a couple if pimples from it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh smelling, fruity scrub that really delivers I am always skeptical about face scrubs. I really like to feel like there is some dermabrasion going on, and a lot of scrubs are just too "soft" on my skin. But my fears were unfounded with Sukins detoxifying scrub, having just enough roughness to make me feel like I was cleaning my skin perfectly. This would be the ground up bamboo included in the product. Sukin is one of my favourite brands. The price is something I can afford, the products are eco-sensitive and they are formulated with ingredients that are better for me (and the environment). Not only the scrub clean my face perfectly, with no rash or irritation (I have sensitive skin) it also smelled divine. Sweet and fruity, but not overpowering. I loved this scrub, and would buy it again!

At times my cheeks get rosacea (which is new for me) and it's gentle enough to use when there is a breakout. The scent is fresh and lovely, and it made my skin feel really smooth and soft. It's not too harsh for the face and does not leave my skin red and tender. It's good to use every day, although I use it every 2nd day. I'm definitely going to be trying more Sukin products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great exfoliator I love toxin-free skincare and Sukin is a fantastic brand for that. I'd been looking for a scrub that didn't skimp on the "microbeads" and this one has a great bead to fluid ratio. The scrubbing beads are really small and don't feel scratchy on my face but it feels like there are enough of them to do the job. It's not heavily scented and you can't smell it once it rinses off. Not too thick or too runny and the upside down squeeze tube is great. I love things that come packaged this way because you can get the perfect amount out and don't have to try balancing it on the end to get to the last of the product. I wouldn't recommend using it every day but 2-3 times a week seems good for me.

I love that Sukin is a natural skin care range and I was pretty keen to try this as phrases like “super greens” “kale” and “facial scrub” all scream goodness to my skin. The scrub comes in a green tube, that is a great size to handle, and is quite stable standing upright. The lid clips down securely so I don’t think there is any risk of spillage. The tube itself allows for the scrub to be dispensed without mess and you can squeeze out the perfect amount you require. I have to say I was quite surprised when the scrub was not green! Instead it is a pure white colour, and is a medium consistency that feels like a cream. Also, I thought it might smell weird but nope, it is lightly fragranced with a soft fresh scent that doesn’t linger after use. The scrub is gritty rather as opposed to having a few larger beads in it like some other brands I have tried. I found the exfoliation was good as the scrub had the right texture and amount of ‘grit’ to do a good job without being too fine or too coarse, but do think it is too harsh to use daily. I’ve been using this 2-3 times a week which is working for me. After using the scrub it washed off easily in the shower and left me with fresh soft skin. I think regular use of the product over the last few weeks has contributed to increasing the radiance of my skin. I will definitely consider buying this product again if I am still happy with it after long term use – the price is very affordable for the size and I do think the tube will last a fairly long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mini Beautorium Review - Detoxifying Scrub I received this Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Scrub in my recent surprise mini-beautorium haul and I was very excited about trying it. I love eating kale and was keen to try a beauty product that contained this wonderful ingredient as well as bamboo which is another ingredient that I like in an exfoliating scrub. This scrub comes in a deep green squeeze tube with easy to use flip top - the packaging does give a very fresh, organic and "detoxifying" impression. The scrub has a subtle fresh scent which I found surprisingly pleasant given it contains unique ingredients like licorice oil and parsley. The scrub is creamy in texture with very fine ground bamboo which feels very gentle on the skin. I find the scrub is very effective in removing dead skin cells/dirt/oil etc, without being too harsh or stripping on the face. The fine bamboo really helps to refine the skin, buffing away dry/flaky bits and leaving my face feeling nice and smooth. Definitely an affordable and good quality, effective product which I will consider repurchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like this scrub! I recieved this facial scrub in the mini beautorium and I have to say that I am really pleased with it! Sukin is one of my favourite natural and inexpensive skincare lines so I was chuffed to receive this. The packaging is a hygienic squeeze tube, and the consistency is a medium-thickness cream with the scrubby particles suspended in it. It has quite a strong smell which is herby and sweet - I really like it! It's not a traditional grandma fragrance, thank god! The cream doesn't strip my face and is actually slightly moisturizing, but it doesn't leave any residue any your face when you wash it off. The particles themselves aren't too abrasive. The density of the scrubby particles is the perfect amount - it's not too little and not too much. My face doesn't feel sensitive after using this which I'm really happy with as a lot of facial scrubs do. I haven't had any issues with it breaking me out, which is great as I'm acne-prone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Green smoothie scrub! I have loved and used Sukin products for some time now but those that are more suited to dry and maturing skin. My 13 year old daughter decided to try this product as she is prone to break outs and acne. She described the scrub as nice smelling, moisturising, and not feeling harsh on her skin but most importantly her skin felt clean and clear! As a mother, I am pleased that it's a product with natural ingredients and made in Australia. I have noticed that her beautiful, milky skin is now less prone to blemishes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mini Beautorium - Beautiful Face Scrub I received this lovely scrub in my mini beautorium pack. I was skeptical at first as to how well it would work however am really loving the product. It has a white, thick colour with an incredibly fine exfoliation. The formulation is 100% vegan and carbon neutral packaging e.g. good for you and the environment as well as no animal testing so a great range. I found the scrub to be the perfect consistency. It felt lovely on my skin and has the most beautiful scent which took me a few days and a lot of cranberry nougat from Coles to realise that the scrub too smelt of cranberries haha! Maybe a touch of lime as well. One of the ingredients is rose hip and as a massive lover of rose hip oil this definitely leaves your skin feeling nourished in the same way. Will definitely buy in the future.

It was such a creamy product. You do not need to use much to get the full potential out of the product. I was surprised after a week of using this product only twice, my skin felt like it was milky, soft, dewy and replenished!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Green smoothie for your face! And yes, I did expect it to smell like a green smoothie, with it's kale, spirulina and parsley! I'm really fussy when it comes to exfoliants/scrubs/buffers...and shy away from anything that is rough or scratchy...and although I found this scrub to be quite scratchy (I just need to remember to not use so much pressure on my face, and be a bit more gentle) I found the result to be really wonderful and softl. I have oily skin, and tend to scrub around 3 times a week..anything less and my skin looks ghastly...I look forward to see how this product performs in the long term! I also love that the 'scrub' ingredients is micro polishing bead, hard to find (or not find) in many products these days. Big thumbs up for being Ozzie owned, and just look at the list of 'NO's' on the tube - No Sulphates, No Synthetic Fragrances, No animal derivatives etc etc!

Suited to all skin types, Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub has a gentle formula which glides over skin and then buffs away dead skin - without taking your face with it! After rinsing off the formula skin feels soft and rather smooth. If you experience a regular build up of skin then Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub may not fully polish away all traces of rough skin - but it certainly attempts to. Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub contains a paraben and sulfate free formula enriched with green ingredients including kale, spirulina and parsley which detoxify skin with antioxidants. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works amazing This is such a good facial scrub. Before I was using this I experienced dry skin around my nose and also chin. First of all I use a makeup remover wipe to make sure majority of my daily makeup is removed before I use this, then I put a pea size amount on the tip of my finger and rub onto my skin using circular motions for about 20 seconds, while i'm doing that I have the tap running so it goes warm, then I rinse it off with warm water. This scrub leaves my skin soft and dead skin free, i'm very happy with the outcome of this product. Thank you beauty heaven!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from April 2015 Discovery Bag: affordable au naturale facial scrub I've used a few other face scrubs in the past and this is by far the best for my combination skin type. It has a light cranberry fragrance that doesn't linger but makes the whole exfoliating process enjoyable. It is a white lotion and I massage a pea-sized amount gently onto my face, focusing on my T-zone because that's where my pores get clogged up by my makeup. It left my skin feeling plump and smooth and didn't give my skin that uncomfortable tight feeling of being stripped of moisture. The jojoba exfoliating beads are very fine and gentle on the skin and would be great for sensitive skin/more frequent use if necessary. I used this twice in 4 days and my skin looks clear without any dry patches. I also did a nose pore strip after using the scrub to see how much dirt had been removed compared to my daily cleanser/other scrubs and there was hardly any dirt left to remove! I'm very keen to try more from this range!

Looking at the ingredients alone being kale, spirulina, chlorella, parlsey, pineapple, licorice and lime peel I knew my skin would be in for a super treat. This product was full of the latest super greens and much more. I was expecting the product the product to come out all thick and very dark green so I was shocked that it came out white. The product squeezed out easy and I only used a small amount as suggested. The consistency of the cream contained small sand style grains but these were not over bearing, just enough to give you a scrub feeling but not over powering that your face feels like it is being sanded off. It was gentle on the skin and very easy to apply and massage over the skin. Easy to rinse off. The smell of the product I thought was very faint, I suppose I was expecting it to be more of a earthy smell but to me it was a faint light fruit smell. After use my skin felt very clean and fresh which I loved. Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub ticks all the boxes for me too a it is an Australian made and owned product.
