Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instant and visible blackhead removal I have used the original strips for years and they are a staple in my cabinet. I also use chemical exfoliants but these strips give me instant visible results when I use them You should ensure your nose is slightly wet or moist before applying the strip, which allows the adhesive on the strip to adhere better to your nose. Once you feel the strip has hardened, you need to rip the strip off slowly and gently. You might be left with adhesive residue but it is easily washable with warm water. There's nothing more satisfying than ripping off one of these strips and seeing all the dirt and blackheads on the strip that you've now removed I'm not sure the addition of charcoal in these strips gives different results to the original. I haven't experienced a deeper clean than the original strips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective blackhead removal I've always been a fan of pore strips for the quick and satisfying removal of blackheads. I picked these up the other day and although I didn't find them much different than the originals, they got the job done. I don't have a huge amount of blackheads on my nose but it removed quite a few, my husband (who's secretly quite fond of a pore strip) had amazing results, maybe because he has bigger pores the blackheads remove easier. Either way they are worth a go if your usual scrub isn't getting the results you need.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Been a fan of the original, this works just as well I've been using the BIORE Charcoal Nose Strips once a week for a year now and I can say for those of you who've got stubborn blackheads, you should give this a go. Besides using a cleanser, I find the nose strips are another way to keep my blackheads at bay. They're easy to apply, all you need to do is wet the nose strip and apply it on your nose and leave it on for 10 minutes, or until it becomes hard and you remove it. I've noticed my blackheads have appeared less often after I've started using this Good affordable product and will be using it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing cleanser, not acne fighting This primer was smoothing and cleansing and my face felt extremely smooth after each and every use without a doubt and I loved that I could feel it working with a gentle smoothing sensation. The only downside was that it did not help in reducing my acne and if I was to leave it on for too long it would start to burn but that was my fault. It was an easy and quick product to use with no fuss and just like your typical cleanser that I found amazing if everyday use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from left skin feeling very clean This is the first biore proudct I have used, but have often heard the hype surrounding their pore strips, etc. so was keen to try this cleanser out. So far I have only used it a few times but every time it leaves my face feeling exceptionally clean. It has a slight charcoal scent, foams quite a bit and doesn't leave skin feeling too dry or tight. I will keep using this cleanser, happy with the results so far!

I like the cooling sensation and how it made my skin feel refreshed. I also started using abit on my chest as i get breakouts there aswell and my chest wasnt breaking out anymore so i would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes the refreshing cooling sensation of a face wash and wants to stop breakouts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fresh feeling This Biore cleanser does a very good job at cleansing the face, especially if I have been wearing makeup for the day. It has a tingly sensation which leaves the skin feeling fresh and clean after washing it off. The pump is very convenient as you can easily control the amount of product dispensed, especially because you only need less than half a pump for your entire face. The only downside to this product is that it had left my skin feeling dry a couple of times (less than often). However, this can be quickly solved with a face moisturiser. As this product only requires a small amount each time, the bottle lasts quite long and is great value for money!

I love this product and will continue using it. I really like this product for everyday use. it too turns from a paste into foam which is pretty cool. its also in a large bottle so lasts a long time

I have a lot of blocked pores on my nose and cleansing and scrubs don't seem to help, so I tried it recently and its so easy to use! It wasn't uncomfortable at all and it didn't feel super dry on my face either. When you go to peel it off you've got to do it really slowly and carefully, but it didn't hurt me at all when I peeled it off and I was really satisfied with the results. It's not a magical strip so not all of your blackheads will vanish first time, but it makes a noticeable difference.

My face feels clean & smooth after using it and it doesn't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. 2. It comes with an easy to use pump (great for use in the shower!) 3. It doesn't break the bank. 4. It's ease of access & availability- supermarket, chemist, priceline.. The best way to use it is to take a pump in your hands and rub until it starts to foam and THEN apply it to your face and rub in circular motions.

I have very oily skin and my nose is sometimes prone to whiteheads and some blackheads. I have been using the original one with a lot of success and I was really excited when the charcoal version came out since charcoal is supposed to be good for oily skin and pulling out oils and stuff from your skin. It is used similarly to the original one (this one is completely black). You wet your nose, place this on, wait for it to become hard and then pull it off. These are not bad but I have less noticeable results with them compared to the original. Somehow I believe they are weaker in terms of pulling gunk off your skin. I will stick with my original bioré strips in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tingly I generally have dry to normal skin, but when my skin is especially oily, this product is great to remove that excess oil for when my go-to cleanser is too gentle. I love the tingly feeling the peppermint makes - when I first used this product I was happily surprised. This cleanser makes your face feel really clean, but it can be a bit drying, so I'd suggest putting on some moisturiser after use. Love this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh and Clean I really like this product for everyday use and between exfoliations and skin masks. It really keeps your skin feeling fresh and smooth for longer. I bought this as I wanted to try out Biore's new range and at the same time I was having some hormonal breakouts. Within a week my skin was looking better. I've even gotten used to using this on my back as I have some hormonal acne there as well and most products don't seem to work well on other parts of the body. It has really cleared it all up and leaves you feeling fresh and clean after every use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Freshness Personified with this cleanser I purchased this product as the fact that it contained natural charcoal to draw out dirt and impurities appealed. I must say it is very conveniently packaged with a pump dispenser which permits a measured amount so there is no waste consequently the 200 ml bottle lasts a very long time. I use it of an evening to remove my make up and that it does very effectively although one must avoid getting it in their eyes as it can cause a stinging effect. Overall it leaves my face feeling exceptionally clean and very refreshed and I have to say practically "glowing" afterwards. Unlike some cleansers it doesn't leave one's face with that tight drying feel so would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clearer Pores I love that you can actually see these strips working but the gunk that get attached to the strip once peeled off. I like seeing visible results and you can definitely see this with this product. The strips have a tingling/cool feeling on which I enjoy. The strips help draw out my blackheads and impurities. I wish it would get rid of all my blackheads but it does not seem to work on blackheads trapped deeper down. It is easy to use and only takes 15 minutes. It gets stiff once ready to take off so you will know when to peel it off. The strips are effective at removing some blackheads but of cause it is no miracle and can't magically remove all. I find these charcoal strips work better at removing blackheads than previous strips by Biore. Overall I get a weird enjoyment from seeing blackheads removed from my skin. I guess this may be because of my desire for a clearer complexion. This is a good product to include in your weekly routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaves me fresh faced! I'm a serial "wears makeup to bed" person. It's bad, I know. That usually means, whatever is left on my face in the morning is pretty hardy makeup, and it's occasionally smeared all over. This cleanser removes every last trace of the makeup, leaves my skin feeling great and I don't have breakout problems either. The pump action bottle makes it really easy to dispense and also means the bottle doesn't get messy and sticky, as cleanser bottles sometimes do. The gel is black, it's kinda cool to have something a bit different, colour wise so I like that it's black. It smells fairly bland, maybe a little like menthol, but in the nicest possible way. It also leaves my skin feeling a little "cool" in the same way menthol does but doesn't burn my eyes at all. All in all, this is an easy-to-use, effective cleanser and it's not expensive!

It's also the first face wash that washes all my make up off in one go - even my eyeliner!! But on top of all that it's actually cleared my skin up a lot as well. Will continue to use this face wash.

When i saw that Biore has a charcoal range, i did not hesitate to buy. The Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips works just like normal blackhead remover strips that biore has, it just that it is black in colour so you can see your blackhead that comes out with the pore clearer as it is more visible. It is a fast and effective way to remove blackhead in an instant. Only need to wait 10-15 mins after application on slightly wet nose and tad, the yucky blackhead just come out like that and leave my nose smoother when touch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tingly Fresh Skin Charcoal products seem to be everywhere at the moment and I was in need of a new cleanser so thought I'd give this a try. I like that it comes in a pump bottle as it is easy to dispense and more hygienic. The color was a little off putting to me but black is to be expected in a charcoal product I guess. It didnt have an unpleasant smell like I was half expecting. Mild and nice. A tiny pump goes a long way and lathers up well to a nice white foam. Mild tingling sensation after lathered in which I love. Feels like its working its magic! My skin felt tighter after use but not dried out as I get with most skin clearing products. I cant say it has cleared up my blackheads though which is a shame. Only been 2 weeks though so I will continue and see. Mild acne seems to have cleared up and my skin isnt as oily as ot was. Would definitely repurchase as it is a great make up remover and doesnt dry out my skin. Great for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleared up my skin beautifully The advent of charcoal-based beauty products has definitely been on the rise. From hearing great things, I was intrigued to try it for myself. I have oily skin that is prone to adult acne, blemishes and blackheads. In my early twentie, its fair to say I've tried sooooo many different cleansers that promise to clear up acne but only have some have performed. This product is one of them. I would say the packaging is aimed more towards the younger, teenage problem skin sufferers. It has a younger vibe with vibrant colours. I really like the smell, doesnt smell like charcoal or gravel like I was expecting. Once you work it in, it lathers up beautifully with a pleasant tingling sensation. That's when you know it's doing it work :) I usually double cleanse at night and once every morning. I've gone through half a bottle and I'm already seeing the difference in my skin. I definitely get the feel that my skin feels cleaner, but you dont get that dry, tight feeling that most harsh cleansers can give you. My skin has cleared up dramatically, and I find I don't need to moisturise as much! Ultimately, I think its a great all rounder cleanser. It's been effective in helping clearing up my skin and I'll continue to use it until I see otherwise

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps my skin clean and fresh I have always used charcoal based masks and have seen great results therefore I was super excited to try this Biore charcoal cleanser. I love that it is a pump dispenser. It is so easy to dispense product out. The cleanser is a black gel formula which lathers into a white foam. I find it does a good job of cleansing my face and removing all the last traces of makeup. It dissolves all the dirt and oil from my face because after I dry my face I can almost feel that my face is squeaky clean. It does not dry out my face at all. It does not sting either. It must be keeping my skin in good health because I haven't noticed any breakouts . I usually get breakouts during my periods and amazingly this month I had no breakouts . The charcoal cleanses your pores from deep down hence eliminating blackheads and clogged pores. My teenage son started noticing tiny pimples on his face and asked my help. I let him use my biore charcoal cleanser and amazingly within three days his skin became clear and the tiny pimples disappeared. To conclude this cleanser will help you get rid of impurities from your skin and can aid in getting rid of pimples.

I feel like it gives a thorough cleanse and as such, I like to use this in the evenings after I've removed my make up. It gets rids of any traces of make up left over and gives my skin a thorough cleanse. It comes with a pump making it easy to dispense the desired amount of product and though comes out black it lathers up into white foam. It gives the skin a tingly sensation which I quite like though might take some time to get used to. I'd recommend this for oily/ combo skin as it can leave the skin a bit tight after cleansing so mositurising pretty much immediately is necessary for me. As such, this cleanser might be too strong for normal to dry skin types.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautorium December 2014 - fresh cooling skin I really enjoying using this Biore Deep Pore Charcoal cleanser which comes in a handy easy to dispense pump bottle. I generally prefer a creamy foaming cleanser as opposed to gel foaming cleansers but this was great. To correctly use this product to ensure a nice lather, you need to wet your face and pump a small amount and lather it up in your hands before applying to the face. I like how it's black and transforms into a white creamy foam once it has been lathered up. It has a nice, slightly strong scent, similar to their other cleanser. When you massage onto the skin, it gives a tingly and cooling sensation giving you the feeling of deeply cleansed fresh skin. The sensation takes some getting used to and it may feel a little uncomfortable at first/or for some people which is why I gave this 4/5 stars. Overall I really like it though as I feel it does provide a deeper cleanse and the pores around my nose look clearer.

I used this after a day on the beach when my skin was sticky from constantly reapplying sun cream all day. It has a gel like texture and a tingly feel which really cleans the skin well. The product comes out black but is lathered into a white foamy consistency. This product feels slightly tingly and is very refreshing on the skin - I did not find it irritated my skin at all, and it isn't fragranced. This product left my skin feeling clean, slightly dry (I tend to get this from most cleansers) and actually smoothed out some of my problem areas around my nose which very few products are able to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean and fresh I have oily to combination skin and suffer with blocked pores so I really need something to help me, so I have been trying this face wash for over a week now. It cuts into the grease really well and the menthol makes your skin feel cool and fresh, it feels likes it takes away all the dirt in seconds. It leaves my skin feeling smooth without irritation but does need moisturising afterwards. I still have some blocked pores but there does seems to be an improvement. I will def continue to use this product everyday and will buy it again and look into their other products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooling and refreshing I trialed a free sample and surprised with how good it is. The grey cleansing gel smells minty and lathers well. It is cooling and refreshing on the skin, perfect for summer. My skin feels very clean and residue free, but slightly dry afterwards. The only thing is it irritates the eyes.
