At its base, Acqua di Gioia perfume is rooted in the Earth, cedarwood heart, warm brown sugar and labdanum.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Acqua di gioia This was a blind buy, I bought it because I like Acqua di Gio for men, so thought this would be similar. It’s fresh & clean. Doesn’t seem to last very long. It’s quite nice just not my personal preference.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I used to love Hubby's the original Acqua di gio, So I was quite excited when I spotted this one and immediately decided to buy a gift for him (so I can steal from time to time ;)  The beautiful packing and amber color liquid gave me really high hopes - but alas the fragrance was a big let down. It has hardly any similarity with the beautiful fragrance of original but smells quite generic and cheap. There are some fruity notes in there but not quite appealing. It makes me think of those generic perfumes that teenagers like to use and can you a headache if you're sensitive to harsh fragrances.
