It is quite a thick cream and can leave your skin feeling slightly oily so wouldn’t recommend under makeup, however as a night cream before bed or on a makeup-free day, it will provide your skin with the moisture from relief it needs.

I mainly used  it as a night  cream as it is a bit heavy for day use and has no spf which i like to use in the day. Highly recommend for anyone with sentive skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would recommend for anyone with dry sensitive skin to use this product. It is a basic moisturizer and is a very soothing cream. It does not however sit well under makeup as it is very thick but on days when you want to give your skin a break it is perfect.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found this moisturiser really hydrating and soothing to my dry and sensitive skin. Normally after I shower my skin feels tight and itchy and this product definitely alleviated that. I apply the moisturiser at night after using the La Roche Posay caring facewash and the results have been very pleasant. I have not had that tight/itchy feeling since using it. I rated the product four stars due to the fact that the moisturiser seemed to make my hair quite oily, it wasn't oily on my skin but every morning I would wake up with an oily hairline.

I’ve found the La Roche-Posay brand really hit and miss for me personally, so was intrigued to see how this one performed.\nAs a moisturiser, I’m not a big fan. It is really thick and creamy, and takes a really long time to absorb into the skin. However, as a night cream this product is divine! It is super moisturising, does not irritate my skin and has not yet (touch wood) caused any breakouts. \nI think this product would only be suitable for day time use for people with really dry skin, but as a night cream I would definitely recommend it to everyone. It gives the skin a lot of hydration and really helps to calm the skin.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a really nice soothing moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin.  I found that it helped my skin that was crying for hydration due to the constant air conditioning I'm in to avoid the heat.  It's not a heavy or sticky moisturizer and absorbs nicely into my skin.  Definitely a great addition to help soothe dry and sensitive skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received this product as part of a trial. Personally I haven’t used La Roche Posay products before but i must say I’m now a big fan. I’m loving how this product feels on my skin. It goes on easily, and super soothing leaving my usually dry, sensitive skin feeling beautiful and soft. The only downside I have is that it is quite thick and take a while for the skin to absorb so is not really suitable when you’re in a rush in the mornings getting ready. Because of this I’ve been mainly using it as a night cream which works perfectly for me. I would definitely use again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super rich and creamy this packs a punch of hydration. It sits quite heavy on the skin but, if you give it time, it soaks in and makes your skin feel lovely and plumped. If you are time poor in the morning this product may not suit you as applying foundation straight on to it makes for a slippery and less than satisfied experience. If you have extremely dry or flaky skin definitely test this baby out! I feel like it does a lot to add to your face with the skin barrier may be damaged.

Although the tube is small, I use sparing quantities which is more than enough to cover both my face and neck. Due to the consistency, it doesn't absorb as seamlessly into skin so I prefer, so I do struggle with that. This would be a really great moisturiser for cooler weather but it might be a bit rich for warmer weather. Otherwise, I like that it is fragrance-free and contains squalane, shea butter and niacinamide.\n

However, when I used it along with the Caring Wash, it made my face feel quite red and inflamed. I would not use this again for my face. It's a great hand cream or body lotion though!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I received this product as part of the beauty crew review crew, and I have to say I didn't like this product as much as the face wash it came with. I found the moisturiser far too thick for my preference and the cream tended to sit on my skin and create a rather unpleasant texture rather than be absorbed (this could have been the way I was using the product though!) As someone who prefers water-based moisturisers this was very different to what I was used too and I don't think I would be purchasing it again. I was also picking up on an unpleasant smell while I was using it but that went away rather quickly after applying to my face.\n\nI would be interested to try this again in winter as I think this was far too heavy a moisturiser for me during the summer. If you like thick moisturisers and have dry/sensitive skin I would recommend this product as it did work and didn't irritate my sensitive skin, just not my preferred moisturiser for me. \n

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caused terrible redness, itchiness and irritation I purchased this product last week, was hoping it could help to rescue my dry skin after winter and the changing weather. However, 2 seconds after the first application, my face started to itch, my cheeks turned red, and the skin close to my eyebrows and jaws started having some red lumps. It was pretty scary. I thought it was just a reaction when we use a product for the 1st time. I gave it another try the morning after. The same reactions occurred again, people at work kept asking me if I was ok as my face looked so red. Then the worst thing is in the afternoon when I came home from work, my hubby opened the door and he was horrified when he saw me, he asked what’s the matter because my whole face looked sooooo red and there were lots of rashes and lumps all over my face. I was absolutely scared of seeing my face in the mirror. I had to stop using it on my face, but decided to give it the last chance by testing it on my arms. Oh my goodness, 30 mins after applying this cream on my arms, they also turned red and started itching, just as how my face reacted to it before. I am extremely disappointed with this product and not sure what they put in there to make my skin react to it so badly this way. My skin didn’t ever react to any product this way. I rarely have pimples, most of the time my skin is smooth and radiant, just dry sometimes when the weather changes. I truly need an explanation from La Roche Posay because what it claims to help sensitive skin is completely different from what I experienced. I really hope La Roche Posay will take some REAL action on this issue, as I would hate to see anyone else affected in a similar way to my experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back the old one I was so in love with Toleriane Riche, this Toleriane Sensitive Riche is too rich and not the right consistency, what I loved about the old cream was that it was rich while still being so light. Toleriane Sensitive Riche is too heavy, it does not have the same light and nourishing quality and I do not like the smell as much. I am very disappointed and very lost as it was my favorite go-to cream and I always thought that Laroche Posay had the best products, I am not sure where to look anymore. It is going a huge loss in my life. Please bring it back, it was the best quality basic cream.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Irritated my super sensitive skin This moisturiser left my sensitive skin stinging on the first application - I had to wash it off after a few minutes as the stinging sensation was not going away. I have tried it again several times since with the same results. I'm not sure what is causing this irritation, but I was not able to continue using it. I was so disappointed, as I love the fact that it has no fragrance - something else that I'm also very sensitive to. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this product if you are super sensitive like me.

As many others have pointed out on forums online the new product now marketed as "sensitive" is horribly irritating when this was the only product that helped my dry skin. I am now having to look to other brands

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I found this product didn’t work for me, it had a burning sensation on my skin and for a sensitive moisturiser I was quite surprised it did that. Because I tried it a few times and it kept burning and stinging my face I couldn’t use it anymore. The consistency is thick but it applies onto the skin quite easily. It however does feel uncomfortable on the skin as it leaves a waxy/chalky, tacky feeling on the skin and for a sensitive moisturiser it’s not as emollient and hydrating as it should be. Unfortunately, it caused irritation on the dry patches of my face. \n
