Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil is a very gentle soap free cleansing base that gently cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water. It soothes itching sensations caused by skin dryness.

Avène XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil is a very gentle soap free cleansing base that gently cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water. It soothes itching sensations caused by skin dryness.

The formula of XeraCalm A.D Cleansing Oil was created using a minimum number of ingredients:
• A very gentle soap-free cleansing base cleanses the skin and protects it against the drying effects of water
• The I-Modulia complex, the result of 12 years of scientific development, reduces itching sensations and soothes redness caused by skin dryness
• Cer-Omega, lipids that resemble those found in the skin, helps to repair, nourish and strengthen the skin’s protective film, giving the skin better resistance against external aggressions

The new and improved formula has higher emollients (+47% vs the old formula) which help strengthen the nourishing and restorative function of the skin barrier.

My kids and I have sensitive skin, whereas my husband has rough and dry skin. We used this oil in the shower and luckily, none of us had dry skin afterwards, there was also no itchiness. The oil itself was so gentle on the skin. I rarely felt the need to moisturise my skin afterwards. I 100% would recommend this to everyone with sensitive skin. Unfortunately, the hefty pricetag would limit my options of buying it all the time.
