Medela's Breast Milk Storage Bags enables you to store extra breast milk in the fridge or freezer, so you baby won't need supplementary food or liquids if their demand changes.

Medela's Breast Milk Storage Bags make storage, transport and warming breast milk, convenient and hygienic. This pack contains 50 bags that can each hold 180ml of breast milk.

Strong and durable plastic - felt like they were good quality and would hold up against freezing. Easy to use, and reasonable for the price. A great option if you wanted to freeze milk regularly.

I like that they’re sturdy and don’t feel flimsy, so I trust them not to tear or leak easily. However, the seal could be a bit stronger. I’ve had a few instances where I had to double-check to ensure it was fully closed. Overall, they’re good for peace of mind in terms of durability, but I wish the closure felt a bit more secure.

They're solid + not really flimsy - some bags I felt like they'd break/rip but not these. Easily defrost with no leaks! I had a few leaks with other brands so that was my fave part about them. They can be more expensive than others, bur definitely worth it

The only problem I found with the bags was it was difficult to get an accurate measurement using the bag alone. I used a bottle to measure the amount and write it onto the bag that way

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag but quite large [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good bag, seals well and doesn’t leak but it’s quite large compared to other bags (same measurements on the indicator just more dead space at the top and sides) so takes up more room in the fridge and freezer which isn’t ideal compared to others. Doesn’t rip when reopened.

Like the standard bags, I find these a bit difficult to open enough to pour milk into without first putting my hand into the bag, which obviously negates the sterility. My dislike is that to pour milk out you need to stop the bag. With the standard bags I often rinse them and use them to store baby snacks etc. However these bags could not be re-used for anything.

Instructions were easy to use, though it was more difficult to open the bottom of the pouch so that the bag could stand on its own. The pouring experience wasn't any different to me, but it was easier to hold due to the side groove of the pouch.

The bag has clear markings and you can write the details on the top of the bag. The only thing I didn’t like about this bag is when you are pouring the contents out, sometimes it can spill. It would be nice if they had a spout so it’s easy to pour the milk out of the bag especially when it’s not fully defrosted.

It has clear measurement and I can record the date and time the milk is stored. However, the downside is it is too pricey. Otherwise, I would recommend this product.

The bags themselves are quite think so they shouldn’t break easily. (Never had one break open) They can hold a fair amount of breast milk, the only down side they are quite pricey compared to other bags. But worth it none the less

They also freeze fairly flat if you are building breast milk bricks (photo below). They are a great disposable option from a reliable brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good solid, quality bags I buy these as my regular EBM bags and I do love them. They are thick and there is a good quality ziplock seal. They're not too long, so they store nicely in the freezer and hold a good amount for a single bottle for my bub. I'd give them 5 stars, but i really hate that the bulk box always comes with the superfluous adaptors. I go through a box of these every few weeks and the adaptors definitely aren't needed that often. I'd *really* like to be able to purcahse a box of 100 with no adaptors!

They are good quality, easy to use, don't break and I love that you can easily write the date etc on them. Some bags are hard to label but these are fine.

I liked the bag that contians all the packets that can be sealed also. The label was easy to write on. Packets can be stood up to pour and layed down for storage in freezer or fridge. Instructions were easy to follow. Packaging was a bit confusing though. On it it has an asterisk and an explanation like there was supposed to be information with an asterisk for clarification. It did on the website but not the package. I included a photo of this. What I didn’t think was very good was the opening, it didn’t seem to open very far and I had to put my fingers in to open all the way. Pouring in was still easy though so it’s sufficient. The duel seal up top so you can have as much air out as possible and still be leak proof I thought was a bit close together. So I didn’t feel like I could get the liquid right up to it for fear of the milk going through.

The pen I wrote with, smudged on the text-panel (which is also written upside down - assuming for freezer storage reasons?) The text panel isn't written with very dark text, so it's a bit hard to read, especially in the dark. The zip-lock top is also quite a small opening, especially when trying to pour milk in, straight from the pump. And if you use the easy-pour tear-tab when you don't need to use the full amount of milk, you waste the bag/leave the milk exposed because you can't reseal it. The easy-pour idea is great and a nice height on the bag. The zip-lock is also nice and secure. The self-standing bags are also a good feature. Would I buy again? I guess - Only if they were on a decent sale. Would I pay full price, or would I buy just for the brand-name? No.
