Rated 4 out of 5 by from Having used Garnier products and micellar water before, I was quite certain I knew what I was in for. I assumed the product was going to be gentle on my sensitive skin (check) and leave my skin feeling somewhat hydrated and clean (check). I'm glad it met my expectations, as I now have another micellar water to choose from. \nI do feel the oil layer is a bit gimmicky, as I didn't find this formula removed my more stubborn makeup any easier than other micellar waters I've used - It just takes a bit of effort and a few cotton pads to get it all off.\n\nBeyond the function of the product, my impression of this micellar water is that it fits in well with the Garnier aesthetic - simple, clean packaging, and a decent amount of product for the price. \n\nOverall, I would gladly use this product again and recommend it to friends, as I feel it did a decent job of cleaning my face, provided a good base for moisturiser, smelt lovely and was good on my sensitive skin.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product was everything I want from a make up remover: pleasant scent that is not too overpowering, gets everything off without excessive rubbing and doesn't leave heaps of residue. It's definitely better than regular micellar water, which often struggles to get my waterproof mascara off without rubbing so hard I lose a few eyelashes in the process. The bottle is large and is sure to last a long time, the only thing I would change would be the lid - I get worried the cap will come off in my bag. A screw top would be much better!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective & generous bottle size! Such a great value for money product and I love the smell of it. Easy to use. A bit afraid of the additional oil in the micellar water. Surprisingly it leaves my skin soft and I can easily remove my make up even with my waterproof mascara which I usually hard to get if off at the end of night with my usual make up remover.  The only problem I had with it's the bottle cover as it's a bit flimsy. Other then that  it my new favorite on my shelves now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have tried several different brands of Micellar water from different price range. So I'm quite happy to try this as I can compare among the brands that I've tried and I fell in love with it. The moment i open the bottle as I love! love! love! the smell of it.  Very light fragrance smell of Jasmine/ Camelia scent.  To use it just shake the bottle and pour it on the cotton pad and lightly wipe the make up off.  I feel that it leaves my skin clean and soft without needing to wipe harsh on my skin to totally removes my make up especially mascara. It did not sting my eyes as some make up remover does. Just not happy with the cover as I prefer it to be a pump top or at least a better/ secure cover as I think the current one it's quite flimsy and not suitable to bring when travelling to prevent spills/leakage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L.O.V.E!\n\nI have combination skin with mild breakouts and some dry patches thanks to me using retinol products the past few months. Micellar Waters that I usually use tend to be a tad too harsh on my now sensitive skin. But not Garnier micellar water in oil. It was true to its claims and soothed my skin. It was a wonderful substitute to my cleansers that dried out my skin.\n\nI used this product both as a makeup remover every evening for the past 3 weeks and in the place of my cleanser in the morning which I just followed up with a splash of water. It was easy to use and smells immaculate! Though concerned about the smell at first the product did not irritate or break me out. Quite the contrast actually. I find it to be the easiest, most non invasive makeup remover I have used so far. Stubborn eye makeup comes off easily with a few pats of a moistened cotton pad.  My skin felt plump and clean and hydrated as if I had moisturised it. I also found it to lessen the peeling caused by my retinol products which is an added bonus.\n\nSince using this product my skin care routine has reduced and has become way more convenient as it negates the use of a three step cleansing process. All in all Garnier micellar water in oil is a clear winner for me. It stands out as a value product that isn't stingy when it comes to quality. I've already purchased a backup and would easily recommend it to a friend.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am huge fan of using both cleansing oils and micellar water as my first cleanse. So when I heard that Garnier was a releasing a new micellar water that was also fused with oil you could say I was just a tad excited to try it for myself. I don't love the original Garnier Micellar water (I use a different brand), as I found it to be a bit soapy and didn't remove all my make-up well so I was interested to see how this would work. I can without a doubt say that I was extremely impressed and quite surprised with how well this performed. It removed every last ounce of make-up, including my pretty much budge proof eyeliner and mascara and left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and not at all oily or stripped of moisture. The only thing I don't like about this product is the floral scent, it can be a tad overpowering and I did find that it lingered on the skin sometimes but it can be easily overlooked as it is such a great product overall. I will definitely re-purchase this once I run out, I highly recommend this!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found this product to be surprising pleasant. It has a fresh subtle scent, gentle and moisturising on the skin without the greasy feel and removes my makeup incredibly well. I like to use Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil every day to remove stubborn eye makeup such as mascara and eyeshadow. It will remove your makeup without have to vigorously rub the makeup off your skin. Highly recommend a try!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed trying the Garnier micellar water in oil. I found it worked well at removing my foundation, blush, bronzer etc. Eye makeup took a little more work, but holding a soaked cotton pad over eye for a few seconds more removed any eyeshadow or mascara. It didn't sting or irritate my eyes which is great.\nWhile it left a slight oily residue on my skin it seemed to absorb quickly. I haven't had any breakouts or irriatation while using.\nI dont mind the scent which is kind of floral. The large bottle will last me quite awhile. It says on the bottle there is enough for 200 uses. For the size, price and how well it worked I would recommend trying it out.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is suitable for those with dry and sensitive skin, and it claims to remove all makeup including waterproof and longlasting formulas. I’ve never tried an oil based micellar water so I was most intrigued to see how it would compare to a typical micellar water.\n\nUpon opening I noticed the smell, it's quite strong but very bare able. However if you hate overpowering smells, then this may not be for you. But don't rule a product out because of the smell. \n\nThe product is of course mixture of water and oil, so a good shake before using otherwise you'll have an oily face. Not only does the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water remove all traces of my makeup very quickly, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth, soft and nourished and I even find that it calms any redness.\n\nSince it's oil based, there is residue. Will admit it does leave a fair amount of oil behind but I surprisingly liked it. As I do have dry patches this helped to smooth it out plus I finish it off with my night cream which really locked in moisture. \n\nOverall, I really like this product. It does exactly what it's meant to do. Removes stubborn waterproof makeup without tugging. Highly recommend for people with dry skin as it does help hydrate and smooth out dry patches\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I must admit I was very excited to try this product as I am a long term user of the traditional Garnier Micellar Water, as I have already had success with the "original" I was a bit skeptical to try something different... especially because I was a bit unsure about how the oil..... wouldn't result in "oily". I have to admit however, that I was pleasantly surprised, the packaging is simple yet effective and very user friendly, I love that it is a flip top because hey... when you're taking you're make up off last thing at night you're not really paying attention! it is important to read the instructions on the back and shake the bottle before using to combine the Micellar Water with the oil... I fear most people who are already regular users of Micellar water will miss this essential step, it really does impact the overall effectiveness of the product, \n\nI was impressed with the fact that this product didn't leave the skin feeling greasy, and very impressed with its easy in ability to remove my "tube" mascara, which usually takes a bit or time and effort to remove.  I was however, quite disappointed in the ability for it to remove my "face make up" (foundation etc)  I do find that the Original Garnier Micellar Water really is much more effective when it comes to this, \n\nas I final note, I don't think I would continue to use the Garnier In-Oil Micellar Water as a full face Micellar, but I will continue to use it as an eye make up remover for heavy eye make up and mascara, and will continue to use the Original Garnier Micellar Water for my whole face. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This micellar water is next level! It's amazing at removing waterproof eye make-up quickly. I'll get the majority of my make-up off with a regular makeup wipe first, and then I'll use the Garnier Micellar Water in Oil to remove my eye makeup and any stubborn lip make-up.\n\nI'll mildly soak a cotton pad with the micellar water after shaking the bottle and hold it against my closed eye for about 5-10 seconds, and then I'll gently wipe away. Voila! My make-up is all gone. If there's any tricky bits left (Like eyeliner stuck in my lash line) I'll soak a Q-Tip in the micellar water and gently wipe back and forth over the area.\n\nThis product removes waterproof eye make-up quicker than any product I've used. The formula is oily, but soaks in fairly quickly after you're finished - which can be a good thing, as other make-up removers can leave your skin feeling irritated and stripped of moisture. I'll definitely keep using this product and I'll recommend it to anyone!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is great at removing make up - no matter how much you are wearing. Just remember to shake the bottle well to mix the two layers together. It did leave my skin feeling really soft and just a little bit oily, but it didn't lead to breakouts. If you are worried it will, then just wash your face afterwards. Great product and i would recommend it to friends and family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved this product! The formula didn't leave my combination skin feeling oily at all, and removed stubborn makeup with ease! Even waterproof mascara came off without an issue. I would definitely buy this product again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Let me begin by saying that this product is more than just awesome - it's amazing! This comes in a clear bottle that makes mixing the two liquids in there together quite easy, as you can actually see what you're doing. This way, you can also tell when things are running low. This has a lovely, pretty scent to it, which is a nice change from the other one I've been using recently.\n\nDue to it's formulation, this is extremely efficient at removing a large majority of makeup, including stubborn mascara, which does take a couple of extra cotton pads, but it does come off eventually. I also like that this doesn't leave an oily residue on the skin, unlike some others that can. This also doesn't make my lids react  like another one that I've been using recently.\n\nOverall, a brilliant micellar water!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have previously really enjoyed using Garnier’s Micellar Water range and have found them to be great affordable cleansers that are gentle and effective at removing makeup. I found this to be a bit different to the original version given that it is a dual-phase water with oil product. It is necessary to give the product a good shake before applying so that it is mixed well and the oil droplets are dispersed throughout. I have combination skin and found that it was gentle and removed makeup quite effectively. I apply a generous amount on a cotton pad and all it takes is a couple of swipes to remove all my makeup with ease (including long wearing foundation!). I don’t generally wear mascara, but I found that the cleanser removed eyeshadow and eyeliner without stinging the sensitive eye area. Overall it removed makeup easily without rubbing or tugging at the skin, however it did leave a bit of an oil film behind. This was not much of an issue for me as I generally double cleanse, and follow with a cream cleanser after using this to remove makeup. The product does have a slight ‘fresh’ scent to it, which I found quite pleasant however, if you are sensitive to scented products this may not be for you. It is a great formulation, at a very reasonable price and comes in a large bottle that will last quite a while. \n \nPROS\n- Removes makeup easily (including long lasting) \n- Economical and reasonably priced\n- Innovative water-in-oil formula which is gentle on the skin\n \nCONS\n- The product is scented which may not suit all preferences\n- I found it gave me the best results when using a ‘double – cleanse’ routine which may not suit all preferences  \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received this product to review for Beauty Crew! I have been an avid user of the original Micellar Water from Garnier and have used bottles and bottles of it so I was excited to try it with the oil in it. This product works just as well but I didn't give it five stars because I didn't like the way it left a slight oil film on my face after I took off all my makeup with it. Although I always cleanse my face after with my normal cleanser, I just didn't like the feeling of the oil sitting on top of my skin which doesnt happen with the original Micellar Water. This product would be really good for those who wear water proof makeup which I don't wear too often. Overall, the product did a great job of taking the make up off, it's so affordable and I will continue using it until it's finished up!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil. This removes makeup completely. I have sensitive skin that can sometimes be dry and this does not irritate my skin at all. It has also removed eye makeup without irritating my eyes like most makeup removers tend to do. This cleanser is moisturising and my skin feels hydrated after use. I have also tried the original Micellar water by Garnier and I definitely prefer this one with oil. It does say that it can be used without rinsing but I have found that it's still better to rinse after use like you would with a normal cleanser. I will definitely repurchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have tried the normal Garnier Micellar Water and this new Garnier Micellar Water in Oil is just as effective. It has a lovely fragrance which makes it enjoyable to use. I find that it melts away my eye makeup without rubbing and also gives the rest of my face a thorough cleanse. I have found that it leaves a slight oily residue but this is easily washed away with a quick splash of water. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturised and I would be happy to purchase this product again.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love this product! It comes in a big bottle, which means it's great value for money. It also smells amazing! My makeup would come of super easily, apart from my mascara, which needed a little more of the remover before it would wipe off. It feels great on the skin and doesn't leave you running for your moisturiser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was a little hesitant when trialling the Gamier Micellar Water in Oil - as the bottle said 'no rinse off' which just seemed odd.  However I was pleasantly surprised by the product and with how well it worked.  The bottle is quite large compared to traditional makeup removers so is great value at the price.  It is quite pretty to look at as well with the layer of argan oil on top.  I used the product with round cotton pads and found it to work really well.  Just a few sweeping motions across the face, eyes and lips and it removed almost all traces of makeup - no harsh rubbing or scrubbing required!  It left my skin feeling great - smooth and moisturised - and I didn't get any breakouts.  I would definitely recommend this product to others as a mild yet effective makeup remover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been using the original Garnier Micellar water previously and had enjoyed that, I have very dry skin so was interested to see how the added argan oil would be.\nWhen the project arrived, a small amount had leaked into the outer packaging, which I hoped wouldn't effect the consistency (as the oil sits at the top). This didn't seem to change the look of the product and it still contained enough of the argan oil. \nUpon first use I noticed there was a nice fragrance that wasn't in the original formula, and it also left my skin feeling nice afterwards, it removed the makeup well and the amount of product in the bottle goes a long way! \nI haven't needed to cleans afterwards, but any amount of oil I can get on my skin is a bonus for me, but I can see why some people may want to get rid of that.\nI have sensitive skin also, and this didn't cause any issues with me.\nI will continue to use this product, however, due to the leakage I think I will take the oringinal Micellar water when I travel, as this has not leaked yet and I believe it may have been due to the oil.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Firstly the size of the bottle is fantastic & you get a lot of product for the price, making it super affordable. With this particular Micellar water there is an oil layer which sits on the top & you need to shake the bottle to mix together the 2 layers before using. \nI have combination skin & found this product to be fantastic. I used it as a first cleanse to remove the bulk of my makeup & it removed makeup efficiently. It didn't sting my eyes, it wasn't greasy & it smelt really nice. It leaves the skin feeling soft which I assume is from the added benefit of the argan oil. \nI would definitely recommend this Micellar water & can see myself buying it in the future. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I felt like this product is one step up from the original Micellar water because the oil really allowed the makeup to dissolve and melt away. It generally felt like it did a better job with grabbing every bit of makeup and my skin did feel a lot cleaner. Although the product claims to be non-greasy and rinse free, I could definitely feel the oil on my skin, therefore I would still wash my face with water as per normal.\n\nWould repurchase. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I actually liked this product. I found it was better than the Micellar cleansing water. I have sensitive skin and didn't experience any breakouts. I have used this everyday to take my make up off. I did however use a cleanser just to remove the residue left by the oil as personally I didn't like the feel. I don't often wear waterproof makeup but I did to test this product and it removed the waterproof mascara. I don't have to rub hard and its gentle on my skin. I would recommend this product if you have combination/dry skin.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found the micellar water gentle but effective. The oil left my skin feeling less dried-out than when I use other cleansers. It didn't irritate my skin or eyes at all and removed all my makeup after a thorough scrub.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I found that the Garnier Micellar Water in Oil was very gentle on my skin and there was no irritation when taking off my makeup, especially when rubbing around my eyes. I was a little hesitant about trialing the product because I sometimes tend to get oily skin but I didn't notice any difference when using this product compared to other micellar waters. The only downfall I found on this product is having to shake it before every use to mix the oil and water together but that is a very minor problem. Would definitely recommend this product to friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I liked this product! I have combination skin, and I was worried it would be too oily for my complexion, but I actually found it hydrating without being too oily -  I found ithe oil absorbs in a couple of minutes after use leaving your skin feeling soft. It removed my make up, including my mascara which doesn't come off normally without full makeup remover. I hate using face wipes as I find them too drying; this is a great alternative to water-free cleansing. My only complaint was a very slight stinging sensation the first time I used it on my eyes, but I only experienced that once. I would recommend it as a great make up remover/cleanser for sensitive/combination skin types. If you have very oily skin, you might find the oil level a bit too high.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! Have tried all the Garnier Micellar Water's and this one by far is my favourite to remove stubborn makeup!
Date published: 2017-02-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoyed this product - it removes my makeup better than and irritates my skin less than the plain micellar water did, whilst also leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated. My only pet peeve is that is contains parfum/fragrance (very sweet, almost floral scent), which I don't see the need for and could cause irritation for some people. Overall it did it's job and I'm pleased with it and would definitely consider purchasing again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have tried many micellar waters and makeup removers in the past but have never come across one that works 100%. Until this product! The true test for me was how well it would remove my waterproof mascara (something previous products have failed to do) and this beauty worked a treat. Another positive about this product is how hydrated my skin felt after using it, many a time I actually forgot to moisturise afterwards because my skin felt so hydrated and fresh!
