Rated 4 out of 5 by from I tend to avoid oil based products because I find oily products can lead to breakouts on my skin, but I never had any problems while using this product. It will remove even the most stubborn of waterproof mascara or matte lipstick. I'm really lazy and usually reach for a makeup remover wipe or something so I love this product. I don't feel the need to use other products after it. This product also felt great on my skin, and it really felt clean and fresh after I had used it. However, I did find the smell incredibly overpowering, and far too strong for my personal taste. This was my only negative I found with the product and after using it for a few weeks I even started to get used to the smell. I wouldn't recommend this product to people don't like strongly scented products. \n\nOverall, it is a great makeup remover, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin and while the smell was overpowering, it is an easy makeup remover to use without having to do too much else to your skin.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like using oil and micellar water on my face so this product was a two-in-one job for me. The bottle was generously sized and the price makes it good value. Having said that, I don't wear a lot of makeup or mascara so I'm not sure how well it works on heavier makeup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received the Garnier micellar water with oil as part of the trial team, and I loved it. The fragrance when you open the bottle is beautiful floral yet very subtle and it didn't upset my sensitive skin. \nA few splashes in a cotton pad is more than enough to clean your face and neck thoroughly which as usual surprises me with how effective micellar water is. \nThere are 2 reasons why I took a star off, a pump bottle would be preferable and it wasn't as effective at cleaning my pores as other brands. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm a big fan of micellar water, and a big fan of oils - so I was immediately intrigued by the concept! \n\nHaving normal to dry skin, I found the oil as a nice addition to my micellar routine in my morning/evening cleanse, my skin felt clean, hydrated, but also not too oily. There was no oily residue left over on my skin. I enjoy the scent of the oil as well. I much prefer it to the other micellar waters in the Garnier range. \n\nAs for makeup removal however - it did have a bit of a difficult time getting the waterproof mascara off - there had to be a bit of rubbing, and revisiting the area to get all aspects of the mascara off. \n\nSo great on the day to day, less so on the makeup remover for those stubborn products. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am a big fan of the Garnier Micellar water but as I haven't used oil before I wasn't sure about this. I have combination skin, prone to breakouts, so the thought of oil turned me off quite a bit (oil + acne??). But I gave it a go anyway and fell in love. It gently cleanses yet removes all traces of makeup without drying out your skin. Best- no breakouts and my skin is quite clear right now!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product removed all makeup easily and leaves my skin feeling fresh and not oily at all. I love using oil as a cleanser and this is no exception. I have normal to combination skin and it didn't break me out. Would definitely recommend and re-purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this product. Easily wipes away makeup including mascara and leaves my skin clean and fresh with no oily residue. Highly recommended

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like this product! I have been using higher end products as my makeup remover for the last few years and this works just as well, if not better! I love that it's so cost effective - it comes in a large bottle and is excellent value. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and needs no hard wiping at all. The only thing that could improve this would be by having a more secure cap on top- it looks so it could come off quite easily so I would be a bit apprehensive about travelling with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I preferred using it in the night time to remove makeup because the oil was a perfect hydrating moisturiser!
Date published: 2017-02-05
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was skeptical, but I do like this product. It was easy to apply as I just wet two cotton pads, and the amount of product for the price seems reasonable. My sensitive skin had no negative reaction. \nI did have to work really hard on my waterproof mascara, and had to use a third pad. It does leave a somewhat tacky finish, but I applied my moisturiser over the top and it sunk in fine. \nI like it better than the original Garnier Micellar water. I would repurchase. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No residue I have recently become a fan of using a Micellar water at night instead of doing a full night routine, so when this popped up I gave it a try.
The large 400ml bottle claims to get 200 uses if using a cotton pad but I think you can get more.
For application you shake the bottle well to mix the oil and water together, then onto your cotton pad. A few splashes is more than enough and a little goes a long way. The first thing that gets you is the beautiful fragrance which I assume is the Argan oil.
My skin felt clean and there was no oily residue meaning straight into my night cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great but too heavily perfumed for me Works great but too heavily perfumed for me. Will still use up the bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for its price, but not the best thing on the market I picked up this product as the makeup remover I was using wasn't doing a good job on my mascara. This product smells really nice and does a decent job at removing my makeup, but I do find myself needing to use two cotton rounds sometimes as the makeup adheres to the first one and I end up with black streaks all over my face from my eye makeup. I find it helpful to leave the cotton, soaked in the micellar, on my eyes for about 10 seconds before starting to wipe as I find this removes the makeup better. After use there is some slight oily residue so I usually clean my face after, even though the product says this is unnecessary. I've also noticed that the oily part seems to be going down disproportionately quickly in comparison to the water element, so I would suggest pouring the product out of the bottle quickly after vigorous shaking to prevent the oil and water separating again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oily Residue I bought this product when it was on special (1/2 price) and it came in a very generous-sized bottle making it a great value purchase. The oil can be seen in a separate layer on top of the micellar water and has to be shaken thoroughly before use. I found that it became quite foamy and looked quite unpleasant in the bottle, which may put some people off applying it to their face! I found that it was effective in removing my make-up, even the waterproof stuff, however it did take a bit of elbow grease at times, so not necessarily more effective than other make-up removal methods. I found that I was left with an oily residue on my face which I wasn't a fan of. On those nights when I used this product to remove my make-up I also skipped my night cream due to the oily feel of my skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I usually like micellar waters but so much this one. I thought I would try it as it’s got oil mixed with it and thought it might be worth a try. I applied the product to a cotton pad and lightly wiped the oil/water solution over my face and eyes. It seemed to remove my makeup fairly well but my skin broke out the next morning and it doesn’t usually with other micellar waters so the oil in it must have been the problem. I won’t be repurchasing but will the other Garnier micellar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from for an eye and lip product it should be less overpowering This comes in a very large 400ml bottle and is made in Italy. It is a standard bi-phase product, you give the product a shake before using and it mixes the Argan oil with the micellar water. Just apply to a cotton round and gently wipe. It claims to remove all makeup including waterproof and is dermatologist and ophthalmologist approved I can say that yes it certainly removes all makeup, including waterproof eye makeup and colourfast lipstick. Hold your cotton round on eye for a few seconds and then gently wipe and all makeup is removed after 1-2 wipes at most. What I don't like is it is quite strong in scent, very floral. It also stings my eyes when removing my eye makeup and is not gentle like plain water as other micellar waters are. I don't see the reason for such a strong scent in a product that will go onto eyes and mouth. The taste is pretty blah too, very strong flowery aftertaste, like I have sprayed perfume into my mouth. I think I will stick to plain things like vaseline or coconut oil for my lip product removal as it tastes a whole lot better than this does I am happy it did remove all my makeup, even the difficult to remove products, but I feel the awful taste and stinging eyes means I wouldn't purchase or use again - eye and lip products should be a lot kinder and more plain. It also leaves your skin feeling nice, not sticky or coated, just clean and hydrated (even though you smell quite floral afterwards).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was recently lucky enough to get the opportunity to trial this for the ReviewCrew.\nI have only ever really tried sample sizes of micellar water before and was happy to be able to have one to try for longer than a few uses to see if it really worked for me or not.\nThe bottle is generously large (400ml) with a handy flip top lid and the product is a water with an interesting golden oil floating on the top. It claims to have enough product for 200 uses and to cleanse and remove all types of makeup including waterproof and long lasting.\nThe product has a pleasant scent and is quick and easy to apply. You just shake the bottl to mix the water and oil then cover a cotton makeup pad with the water and wipe it over your entire face. I found it removed my mineral makeup and eye makeup quite efficiently and without hassle. My skin was left feeling soft and smooth ,no dryness or oily residue at all.\n\nPros\nConvenient flip top dispenser\nQuick and easy to use for the lazier days\nRemoves makeup up effectively\nLeaves skin soft and clean\nGentle enough even for sensitive skin types\nPleasant scent\n\nCons\nI doubt it will remove heavier makeup without the use of a few more cotton pads.\n\nI enjoyed using this product and found it effective in removing my makeup and leaving my skin soft and smooth. Unfortunately it just felt a bit weird to me not to wash my face after. I enjoy the foaming of a water reacting cleanser personally so this will probably not be a repurchase for me.\n\nId recommend this for all skin types and anyone wanting a gentle, affordable and simple to use product that leaves the skin cleansed and hydrated\n\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have not previously tried any of the Micellar range before so I was excited to wrap my hands around the Cleansing Oil in water. When applied it has a pleasant feeling on the skin, slightly cooling and soothing. Afterwards, my skin did not feel stripped of moisture, it felt soft and smooth. Despite the product stating it is a non greasy formula, it does leave a slightly 'oily' feeling on the skin. As the product soaks in this sensation disappears after about five minutes. It did take me several cotton pads to remove a full face of makeup though, and I still felt like I needed to follow-up with my cleansing routine before bed as my skin did not feel 100% clean. A major drawback for me is how heavily perfumed the product is. As such, it's a bit too overpowering for me to use all over my face. I do recommend it as a great eye makeup remover though or as a precursor to your usual night time cleansing routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've never been a huge fan of the original Micellar Water as I felt it took a lot of effort and a number of soaked cotton balls to get my makeup off, so was excited to try the water with added oil in the hope it would remove makeup far more easily.\nWhile I'm very impressed with the size of the bottle and ability for this water with oil to remove stubborn waterproof eye makeup, I did still find that it took longer than ideal to remove all of my makeup in general. It also still took a few cotton balls soaked in the solution to achieve the desired result.\nOn a positive note I did feel like the solution was doing my skin a favour afterwards, as it felt smooth & moisturised.\nI recommend this product to those who are used to taking a little time to remove makeup thoroughly, and who wear heavier/waterproof makeup.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to trial this product for Beauty Crew and as many others have said the product does well at removing make up. I found though it took me multiple goes to remove all my makeup. I was a little turned off at first because of the oil but it did make my skin feel really smooth. Unfortunately I found the product difficult to use because the container was broken when I received it so whenever I tried to shake the product it spilt out through the lid. Other than that I'd recommend it.
Date published: 2017-02-09
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall I thought this product was a good makeup remover - on par with other bi-phase makeup removers and would recommend it as such. However, it claims to work as a Micellar Water, the main strength being that you do no need to cleanse after using and I just didn't find this to be the case. I felt that it was a good make up remover, but not great, able to remove waterproof mascara effectively but still leaving a film on the skin requiring a follow up cleanse. I also found it to be quite stinging on the eyes which was a major down side for me as I tend to only use bi-phase cleansers as eye makeup removers and cleansing balms elsewhere. I didn't feel it was a typical example of a good Micellar Water but if you're after an effective makeup remover as a first step clearer, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it for that unless you have very sensitive eyes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've been an avid fan of the L'Oreal waterproof make up remover (the one with the two tone blue liquid), so I was hesitant to try this one out first. What attracted me to it was the packaging, the two tone liquid (which I think is what makes the L'Oreal one so good) and all the claims around micellar lotion etc. \nIt works a treat in terms of removing my make up - no qualms about that. However, I disliked the fragrance part. Even though it's supposed to provide a more enjoyable experience, when I am wiping my eyes with it of course it'll get a little bit into the eyelid etc. The fragrance that's in it stings my eyes whereas the L'Oreal one doesn't.\nSo all in all a great product for an overall make up remover. However, I would still go with the L'Oreal one as I use it more for eye make up removing than anything else.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really thought this version of the Micellar Water is going to be so much better than the original one. Guess I was wrong. It's a nice product, removes your basic makeup, doesn't leave a greasy film on your face and it's pretty affordable. But that is it, its just a nice product, nothing more. Although its infused with oil, I didn't find it to remove my waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick very efficiently, I would have to remove the leftover pieces with my cleansing balm/oil. I use waterproof mascara daily so using this product is not very efficient nor budget friendly. When I wear my basic makeup I do LOVE the original version with the pink cap, I find it so much better and very soothing. Plus, looking at the ingredients I wouldn't recommend it for acne prone people as it might cause breakouts. Overall, its a mah product nothing more. If you are in the market for Micellar Water make sure you purchase the original version, not this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really wanted to like this micellar water - I've used the original version before, and loved it - however I was unfortunate in that I reacted to this product! My eyes are fairly sensitive, and whilst I have few issues using oil cleansers, this version of the micellar water made my eyes react so badly. I also wasn't a huge fan of the smell, and felt that the product wasn't necessarily any better than my current cleanser at removing my makeup. It was however better at it than some other micellar waters I've used. \nAll in all though, I won't be continuing to use this product, and I'd definitely warn others with sensitive eyes to be careful if they get this. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought this because I accidently bought a waterproof mascara. It works but I prefer the feel and overall product of the regular Garnier Miceller water with the pink lid
Date published: 2017-02-05
Rated 3 out of 5 by from My face feels very clean and smooth every time I used this to take off my makeup. It also takes off my everyday makeup well but if I have heavy makeup that day, it needs couple more cotton pads to swipe all of my makeup away. Since there is oil in this product, I have to use water to clean my face one more time after I use it, because I do not like to leave oil on my face. I do not think I will repurchase again however the pink Garnier Micellar water is quite good and I enjoy using it very much. I recommend to that one than this oil product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As a lover of garniers original micelar water, I was excited to try this one.\nFor the pros, it performed better than the original at removing waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick. It also has a nice scent. Neither products sting my eyes.\nOn the downside the oil and water separated quickly and if you were to use it more than once you have to shake it everytime you get some out of the bottle. It also left a slight oily feel on my already oily skin. \n
Date published: 2017-02-05
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love the smell of it and it applies very easy to the skin, on the down side I found it a bit oily for my skin and I preffered to use a face wash after each use to get the excess oil off. It took my foundation off quickly and easily however a few more applications were needed for my eye makeup.
Date published: 2017-02-05
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked this product but to be honest it just wasn't as good as other waterproof make up remover. It is definitely better then other micellar waters I have used, like the regular one by garnier. On the plus side it did not leave as much oil on skin as other waterproof make up removers I have used, as I have combination skin this is great as I tend to have oily skin areas on my face. It was also very refreshing on my skin. On the minus side I had to rub my eyes harder to get my eye make up off, not a good thing when you have hay fever and your eyes are sensitive. So to finalise; this product is good but not the best out there, at least to me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was so excited to see this product on the market - what a timesaver! It smells and feels amazing on my skin, and gets everything off pretty easily. For oilier girls like me though, it doesn't quite give the same clean as the classic water-needing cleanser. I was a little too oily using this product and had a little breakout in the T-zone over the first week. I think this would work well for those blessed with normal or dry skin.
