Metamucil 4-in-1 Multi-Health Fibre Metamucil daily cleanser helps: Support Gut Health , Aids regularity , Traps Cholesterol, Traps Sugars Metamucil is made With 100% Natural Psyllium. It contains no chemical stimulants, no added sugar and is gluten-free. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in cases of medication induced constipation, do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present or if you develop diarrhoea. Do not take if you have difficulty in swallowing. Consult a doctor before using this product, if you have a sudden change in bowel habits persisting for 2 weeks or have rectal bleeding and if pregnant or nursing. Consult a doctor immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product. Consult a doctor if constipation persists beyond 7 days. Consult a doctor if you are considering use of this medicine as part of a cholesterol maintenance program. While using this medicine in case of overdose, seek professional help or contact a Poison Information Centre immediately. If mixture thickens, add more water and stir. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or oesophagus and may cause choking. Bulk fibre may affect how well other medicines work. If you are taking a prescription medicine by mouth, take this product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the prescribed medicine to minimise any effect on drug absorption. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habit or minor bloating. Allergy alert: May cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Phenylketonurics are warned that this product contains phenylalanine. Contains Aspartame

I didn't find it a chore to use the original version, but now I look at the 114 dose pack of berry flavoured powder and wish I could put it in the bin (except I hate to waste it).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product ease of usability and enjoyment... A product that is great for your personal system/health, but difficult to enjoy, due to troubles dissolving. Powdery substance in tub transfers to a jelly like form in glass of water and ‘sticks’ literally to the glass, requiring additional water and or ‘chop’ with spoon to dilute the lump(s). Also, if you don’t use in a time period such as 6 months, the powder ‘sets’ in tub and requires a dig out for use. Procter & Gamble (manufacturer), should transform product like Berocca, in which a tablet like form per serving is obtained daily, but in water, this ‘dissolves’ upon use, and tastes great, but also no lumps. The product still tastes great though.

Well it turned out that it has Aspartame in it - this is only mentioned in the small print. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd know and only found out as I searched for what was giving it the truly horrible flavour. It has a sickly sweet chemical taste and no hint at all of the wild berries. My partner tried a sip and he too couldn't stand it. I have to throw it away after only two serves,
