Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid effectively cleanses dirt and impurities, removes makeup and boosts skin's hydration.

Dermatologically tested, this lightweight gel with gentle cleansing Barriercare technology transforms into a silky lather that effectively lifts away dirt, oil and makeup without disrupting the skin barrier. A cleanser I bought from another brand dried out the area around my eyes and they looked awful. Within a couple of washes, followed with moisturiser, the skin became much better. One pump is enough for a good later and it washes my makeup off really well, including mascara. One thing that can be improved is the size of the bottle; it could be bigger.

Problem is this gel cleanser is very heavily scented, it doesn’t affect my skin as I don’t have a sensitive skin type but it’s firstly overpowering and secondly a lot of research suggests perfumes are bad for skincare. The level of perfume in this is completely unnecessary.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So heavily fragranced it's basically unusable This does not leave your skin feeling as soft or hydrated as the gelee milk cleanser in this range so it would only be suitable for someone with oily skin or someone who has a lot of makeup to clean off. However, this cleanser is so heavily scented I actually can't even stand it so I will not be repurchasing it. Imo, the gelee milk is 100 times better and has no scent.
