With drug store foundations I usually find that they are too pink and not yellow/olive enough for me, this one was perfect! I have an oily t zone and didn't get oily with this foundation nor did it feel greasy or sticky. After I applied the foundation, it dried quite quickly and didn't really transfer. I think its a great everyday foundation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was quite impressed with this foundation. There were so many shades to choose from, making it easier to select just the right colour for my skin. It was easy to apply and allowed me to build the coverage to my preference. I liked that it went matte after drying so I didn’t need to apply powder on top to set it & it felt really smooth on my skin. I did find that it didn’t quite last all day but for a foundation a lot cheaper than others, I was still really happy with the quality of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As someone with freckled skin and pigmentation, I always feel more confident wearing a foundation that provides good coverage. For the last year I have been using a stick formula and so I was excited to try Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless liquid foundation in shade 112 Natural Ivory, to see how it compared. It was so easy to apply and blend with a damp beauty blender and I was amazed at what great coverage a small amount provided. It performed well both by itself and also over the top of the red and green colour correctors that I tend to use. I was pleasantly surprised that I was actually able to build enough coverage on my problem areas (red nose and dark eye circles) to be able to skip using the colour corrector at all, if I wanted to. It was also great to have the option of being able to use lighter coverage in other areas. I am quite conscious of the pores on my nose and found that I could use a regular primer as opposed to a pore-minimising primer, when using this foundation. The foundation also provided a beautiful matte finish that didn’t look dry or cracked, when applied over my regular primer. When I set it with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, it lasted the whole day. I found that despite the excellent coverage, the foundation still felt light to wear. The sample that I tried definitely suited my coverage needs, although I may try a warmer shade heading into summer. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a lasting medium to full-coverage foundation with a light feel and matt finish. \n

I found coverage was good, not perfect but was still good, it was light, didn’t feel heavy or cakey and lasted throughout the night. I love how there’s so many shades so it’s bound to suit everyone. \nApplication was better with a blender than a brush, I had to use a little more than I do when I’m using the Revlon Colourstay but not a lot more and even though I used more product, it actually felt better on my skin. \nI’d prefer a pump bottle but that’s only a small issue and I’m happy to get over it because it’s an all round good foundation. \nPrice is great\nTexture, application, scent and finish are all great, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good foundation at a great price \n

I'm more pale in the winter months and tan quite easily in summer.  I didn't find the product drying, clumpy or cakey at the end of the day.  I wore day to night without any issues. I also mixed in a small amount of liquid highlighter, which both together went well.\nI used the product with powder blush and bronzer and received compliments. \nThe liquid was light and easy to apply with a brush and didn't clump or hard to blend. \nOnly criticism is no pump, have to be very careful not to pour too much out of the small glass bottle. Only needed a few drops and can build up if needed.  I would recommend this product to anyone who likes a light to medium coverage and like a great steal with pricing.\n

It applies easily and I like applying it with my fingers and then I just blend into my skin.  The foundation is medium coverage and is not cakey and doesn't feel heavy on my face. It has a typical foundation scent, which I like, sort of cosmetic and medicinal, but fades away immediately after applying.\n\nI apply this foundation after my daily moisturiser and sometimes I use a primer, but it's not necessary. This foundation is light and creamy enough to work without a primer, it goes on smoothly and doesn't clump or look thick on my skin. If I want more coverage, then I apply a little bit more and blend. This foundation hides my dark blemishes and makes my skin look soft and dewy. I can remove this foundation with my cleanser or with makeup remover wipes. \n\nPros:\nLow priced\nNon irritating \nGood coverage\n\nCons:\nCan transfer slightly \n\nRecommendation:\nThis foundation is a great long lasting foundation that keeps my skin looking natural and fresh all day long. \n\n

It's really affordable, has a light consistency but covers what you need it to and doesn't have a strong smell (which is always a plus). I have quite oily/combination skin and I find that this product lasts all day when set with powder. It is matte, but not so matte that it makes your skin look dull. I wear the Natural Beige shade which perfectly suits my complexion and isn't too pink. Great product if you like build-able coverage- wouldn't recommend if you like heavy coverage. \n\n

It is designed for combination/oily skins but I dry skin and I can get away with this foundation with a hydrating primer. This foundation gives me a nice natural matte finish which is what I prefer and last for 4-5 hours without touch-up. The only improvement is that I prefer either a pump top or a squeeze tube which will be a lot convenient to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline's FITME Matte + Poreless Foundation is great for oily skin with enlarged and visible pores. My skin type is the exact above so this foundation was perfect for me.\nThe shade 220 Natural Beige was a very close match to my skin tone and the yellow undertone was perfect.\n\nThe formula is quite a light, fluid-like consistency, but I did notice upon application that it did build up some areas, leaving it a little patchy. The way I applied it was firstly putting little spots of foundation on my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. I then used my brush to blend each spot. But I found this method to leave patches as the foundation dried very quickly, so the next time I applied the foundation I blended straight away and it left no patches and gave me an even finish.\n\nThe matteness of the foundation is great. I didn't notice any oilness on my t-zone until a few hours later. The foundation did a great job hiding my pores as well, so my makeup really did look flawless. I applied some translucent powder over the top to set it and it lasted several hours.\n\nThe glass bottle packaging is lovely, but I wasn't a fan of the open top. I would have preferred either a pump top or a squeeze tube. It's a lot more hygienic and eliminates wastage.\n\nOverall, I was pleased with this foundation and will continue using it.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I needed a foundation to use everyday for work as I didn't want to use my more expensive ones so I came across the Maybelline fit me matte foundation which I thought would work well for my oily skin.  I normally find it very hard to find foundation that matches my skin but luckily I found one that matched my skin really well.  I prefer liquid foundation as I find that it helps cover up my redness and pigmentation a lot better.  This liquid wasn't too thick nor too thin.  I applied it with a makeup sponge all over my face while concentrating on the areas that needed more coverage like my cheeks.  It was a bit difficult getting the foundation out as there was no pump so you had to pour it out.  This would make the process difficult as sometimes too much of the foundation would come out or not enough. The foundation was lightweight but still had some great coverage.  You can definitely layer it to take it from medium to full coverage without it looking caked on.  I would set it with a bit of loose powder to prevent the foundation from moving.  The foundation stayed on pretty well for most of the day but it would start to fade a bit after a couple of hours.  The foundation would keep my skin matte but it wasn't the best for minimising pores.  Nevertheless it's still a good foundation and great for those who want medium to full coverage while keeping their skin shine free.

The finish is amazing and helps control the oils in my t zone especially my nose and chin area which normally build up during the day due to the heat in QLD. It’s so easy to build up coverage, I would definitely say it’s a medium to full coverage foundation. It blends so well, I normally use a beauty blender to apply it but it works well with a brush too. The only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a pump to dispense the product just for hygienic reasons. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am so happy with this foundation. Its the perfect shade for me. Has a light liquidy texture and does not give you that cakey and heavy feel at all. You do not feel anything like a foundation on your skin, yes it's that light.\nUpon application it gives you a perfect poreless look even without a primer on. After 8 hours of application my skin was still matte without any touch ups.\nTo top it all i did not even apply any finishing powder after i applied this foundation. Gave me a natural finish with a perfect baby skin like texture.\nI can't recommend this product enough.\nAlthough if i had to pick one drawback that would be it's packaging. It does not have a pump bottle like most other foundation and comes in a solid bottle that gets messy to apply but the product itself works great.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Even though I have normal-dry skin and this is for normal-oily I still love it and use more than the Dewy and Smooth version.  I love the finish this one gives, a lovely matte finish but not a dull, flat and dry matte - it has some life.  It seems to last all day for me with little oxidization.  It is very comfortable on the skin and the coverage is wonderful, it's full coverage but you can sheer it out to medium with a damp beauty blender.  This is one of my most-used foundations in my collection and it beats the performance of many high end foundations I have bought.  The only slight criticism I would have is the palest Ivory shade still isn't very pale in comparison with other brands, it quite dark and I find I have to use lightening drops to get a good skin match, but the formulation is wonderful and I will keep buying it.

The downside is there is no pump and the tilt to dispense method gets tricky once you get near the end of the product. \nThe scent is quite awful if I am to be totally honest-very chemical smelling and quite strong and off putting.The texture is quite runny so you have to be careful when dispensing as it can be easy to pour out way too much than needed.\nI found it easy to apply and my skin was left looking more even whilst still feeling quite bare. No heavy,pore clogging feel like I get with most liquid foundations with similar coverage. It looked very natural and the shade 120 Classic Ivory was a perfect match for my pale skin tone.\nI found it to stay in place for most of the day but I would recommend powdering the t-zones if you have extra oily skin to keep it in place.\nI'd recommend this for anyone looking for a quality medium coverage foundation that controls shine and looks and feels quite natural- all at an incredibly affordable price.\n

There is a good selection of warm and cool colours for lighter skin tones but sadly the range in Australia doesn't have many darker shades.This foundation applies best for me with a beauty blender and offers buildable coverage. The formula is light weight and does feel heavy or cake on the skin.I find I always get a flawless finish and the matte and poreless formula is perfect for combo or oiler skin types.

But this product doesn't slide off, it's really good especially in the summer months. The foundation is really light as well compared to other foundations and it looks flawless when you apply it.

The foundation comes in glass bottle with out pump which is not very easy to use. I have to pour the foundation and many times I pour more than the required amount which is total waste of product.The foundation has runny consistency and it is almost fragrance free. It apply smoothly on my face, blends really very well  into my skin . It provide very light coverage and looks like  I am not wearing any make up. After two coats, it gives medium coverage and does not look cacky at all. The foundation claims to make skin poreless but actually it does not make my skin poreless, my pores are still visible . It has good staying power and last for up to 7 hours on my face. It is transferable and can stain your clothes. This foundation is designed for oily skin and it still works ok on my dry skin, but after few hours my dry patches are visible. The saddest thing about this foundation is "It does Oxidize on my face", My face looks dark after few hours  (while being Asian I do not like to look dark, we  adore fair complexions) I think that its due to its formulation, as I have dry skin, I notice that those foundations which are designed for oily skin do oxidize on my face.Overall the foundation itself is good. it is more suitable for those who have normal or oily skin and they want light coverage. I will not recommend it for those who have very dry, mature or problematic skin and they want full coverage. Also I recommend using primer underneath to avoid oxidization.

After two coats, it gives medium coverage and does not look cacky at all. The foundation claims to make skin poreless but actually it does not make my skin poreless, my pores are still visible . It has good staying power and last for up to 7 hours on my face. It is transferable and can stain your clothes. This foundation is designed for oily skin and it still works ok on my dry skin, but after few hours my dry patches are visible. \n\nThe saddest thing about this foundation is "It does Oxidize on my face", My face looks dark after few hours  (while being Asian I do not like to look dark, we  adore fair complexions) I think that its due to its formulation, as I have dry skin, I notice that those foundations which are designed for oily skin do oxidize on my face.\n\nOverall the foundation itself is good. it is more suitable for those who have normal or oily skin and they want light coverage. I will not recommend it for those who have very dry, mature or problematic skin and they want full coverage. Also I recommend using primer underneath to avoid oxidization.\n

I find that the coverage is light to medium. It applies quite easily when using a damp beauty blender. I really like this foundation for every day use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline is a brand I've loved and trusted for many years now. They are affordable, fun, pretty and colourful, especially the ads, and most importantly they work, you get what you pay for, with change from $25 for a foundation, for example. I have combination/oily skin and visible pores, and red uneven skin tone, as well as the most pale skin ever, so when I saw that this would airbrush, even my skin, blur my pores and redness and control shine while not being mask like, I was immediately sold. The shade classic ivory was spot on for me, it applied and blended in beautifully and covered everything while still letting my real skin show through and it did mattify and control shine and oil, just like it said it would. It lasted all day until my nightly double cleanse, it was near perfect and I love it so much. It's only flaw is the bottle it comes in unfortunately, as it's hard to get out, messy and wasteful, it would really benefit from a pump top. Otherwise it's just a brilliant foundation from a brilliant brand. I am worth it, thanks maybelline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is in my opinion one of the best drugstore foundations for combination/oily skins. There is a decent variety of shades, however Maybelline shades tend to look either orange or pink, no pretty beige shades unfortunately.  The packaging is a pain in the neck but if we ignore the bottle without a pump, we get a pretty good quality product inside. The formula is rather runny and applies easily, blends into the skin effortlessly, looks good applied both with fingers and a beauty blender. Feels very lightweight on the skin, makes it look fresh, smoothed out and evens out tone and texture.The result is matte indeed, but not flat matte, it’s radiant at the same time.Pores seem to be refined, the skin looks really pretty and healthy. It is also quite long lasting although it will not stay put on the face all day long without touch ups. The negative ( apart from the packaging) is the fact that it may accentuate dry patches. Other than that, a very decent affordable foundation for combination/oily skin types.
