Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generous Portions Of Oily Serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a capsule that lasts atleast a month as there are 30 capsules in this canister. Using one a day, for me, means that my entire upper body gets treated to this deluxe serum as the ampoule contains a bountiful amount - there is enough for my face, neck, decollette, arms and shoulders too. So these are a real treat. ( don't find the ampoule can be saved to use over two nights as it's pretty impossible to re-close the ampoule. I would prefer it if this oil was in a canister that would pump out the oil so I could apply it as I needed and not open a whole ampoule each night). I find that I need to moosh and massage this oil in for a while as it is quite oily as it is a oil and not a serum that sinks in easily. I like to spritz myself well with a toning spray after I've applied this and I don't find I need to add any other moisturiser on over the top at all. This oil formula is enough all on it's own! After a few weeks of using this I find that my skin is saturated with hydrating oils. It's a very rich formula indeed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used lots of similar products but always go back to these capsules, I use every morning and love the feel of my skin, drys non greasy, no product waste, easy to take when travelling. At first I thought they were expensive, however I feel that they are well worth the investment in your skin. I am 61 and people always comment on the texture of my skin and I know that the ceramide capsules attribute to this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for moisturising and restoring the face [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received a sample of this in a cute tube, and the serum is individually wrapped in these little capsules which are very easy to open, and it's also easy to spread on my face. However, they can get messy if you accidentally squish too hard. It's an easy to use serum, spreads easily on the face, and absorbs quite quickly into the skin. It's slightly oily, but isn't oily oily. Ever since using it for a while I've felt my skin get softer, and there are less blemishes. It's a little pricey, and for me it's difficult to use a whole capsule in one, but it's nonetheless pretty good. Not sure that I'd get the whole size due to the price though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nourishing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the sample pack of the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Capsules a while ago and was keen to see how it applied onto my skin. The serum comes in a rubbery fish-like capsule and you twist the tail, then squeeze the product out and apply it onto your skin. For this reason alone, I do find it to be slightly messy. However, the product itself is fantastic and nourishes my dry skin. It does take a minute for the serum to absorb into your skin, so if you're after something that sinks into your skin quickly, then this may not be the serum for you. Overall, great product from Elizabeth Arden and am curious to see other products from the range.

I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin. While I do enjoy the novelty of the little gold capsules I don’t like how wasteful it is plus it contains way to much serum for 1 use so the capsule then has to be saved for next time, and can be a little messy when squeezing the serum out due to the price of product this could be a problem but in saying that I do really love this product. It feels excellent on, sinks in really well and doesn’t irritate at all which is very important for the eye area and is very easy to apply to the eye.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxurious & Moisturising [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this out in my recent Beautorium haul and noticed how hydrating it is. The formula itself is very moisturizing and i love how it is in a small capsule which is easy to travel with. The packaging is not only luxurious looking but is makes it easy to control the amount of serum to apply each time you use. Personally i would not say this product stands out among other serums, because i can find some in drugstore that is equally moisturizing and lifting without the golden packaging. But once in a while, I would repurchase this product to treat myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxurious from start to finish [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot review these without mentioning the wonderful packaging. It actually builds the expectation that this will be a great product! The shiny gold jar has a clear centre, revealing the rose gold capsules inside. But the way it opens is what I really love - press the indentation and the lid springs open automatically. The serum is encased in single-use round capsules that are easily opened. The amount of product in each and the design is such that you can get 2 uses out of each if you want to maximise the value. I just use half the capsule and leave it on my bathroom vanity until I use the other half. The serum slides onto the face smoothly, initially leaving a slightly oily film that soaks in after a few minutes. It leaves your skin feeling and looking smooth, nourished and hydrated, ready for the next step in your routine. Over time the results continue to build with my skin looking radiant and healthy, although I haven’t seen a change in wrinkles and lines!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice capsules [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Eye Serum is a very nourishing and moisturising eye serum., The capsule is easy to open, and there is almost too much serum in each capsule. I ended up applying the serum to my eyes, lips and back of my hands. The serum for me, was a little oily, so I used them at night time, and by morning, it was all absorbed in and my skin felt smooth, hydrated and the eye area was firmer, toner, with less lines and dark circles too.

These capsules are easy to open. I found the product dispenses quite fast so you need to be quick in order to not waste product. The cap contains enough product for 1 nights use or if careful I found you could make it last for two uses. The serum is quite oily in texture and effortlessly glides on to the skin. I have normal to dry skin, I did find that the product takes a while to absorb and leaves the skin a bit oily. I like an oily feel so that was great for me. As the product is quite powerfull and rich in texture and ingredients, I found it nicer to use as a night treatment. I did however use in the day time aswell and the serum wears nicely under make up too. Really great product, if price was more reasonable I would love to use this everyday. The only other down-fall for me would also be the capsules, I find them fiddly and they can enhance product wastage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely excited to receive a 7 day sample of Elizabeth Arden's ceramide capsules with my August beautorium purchase - thank you so much beautyheaven! I had not tried the ceramide capsules before, but I had read the reviews about them and was very keen to see their effect on my skin. I agree with a lot of the other bh reviewers about the packaging; though the capsules are unique and luxurious, I feel that the packaging is a little wasteful and would prefer this ceramide serum to be contained in a bottle with a pump dispenser of dropper which would also allow control over the amount of product used. I did not find that I lost any product during twisting open the capsules, just ended up with a little on my fingers which I then spread over my face. I used the entire content of the capsules for each use and applied this serum only at night time after cleansing. I found that there was ample product to cover my face, neck and decolletage and though the serum is oil based, it sunk into my skin and dried after a short amount of time without leaving any greasy residue. These capsules are so hydrating and luxurious! My skin looked more plump and brighter the next day, but after a few days of use I noticed some minor congestion around my nose and also experienced a couple of small white heads in places where I had applied more oil - the lines on my forehead mainly! I have normal to dry skin and I am aged in my mid thirties just to clarify. I was very happy with this facial serum and would be very keen to purchase some to see how continued use will affect my skin. I will probably wait until next winter to purchase as I think this serum would be suited better for the cooler months when extra moisture is needed and I would apply a single capsule every second night to see if this reduces any congestion issues. I found that when using the serum, I could cut out most of the other facial products I usually use and just apply a moisturiser to my face after the serum had been absorbed by my skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely moisturising serum, with instant plumping results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised to find a sample size of these capsules in my beautorium package recently and was reminded that I did previously really like the Elizabeth Arden range years ago. While I tend to go for the more budget priced beauty products, this is a really lovely product, with stylish packaging (tho I worry about the excess packaging) and very agreeable serum product that glides on easily, is absorbed quickly and seems to give something of a tingly effect. My skin seemed to instantly feel softer and smoother and I expect it to continue to give such results. Very likable after a nice scrub in the shower!

I didn't I would like it, it felt very oily but my skin literally drank it up! After a week using it day and night, I have seen a great improvement in my skin. It was clearer and have more tone. My skin was soft and lines are faded. I would definitely love to buy it, but I think the letdown would be price. They are not cheap. It s a very lovely product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Watery serum oil gives you smooth and soft skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am lucky enough to have a cute tube of Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum capsules as sample which came with my Beautorium. The golden capsule is perfect quantity for one use of the entire face and neck. The tip is easily twist off but sometimes the serum spills because it is too full which sometimes a bit messy. Other than that, the one time capsule design is perfect and hygienic. The serum is surprisingly more liquidly and watery than I thought, because I though it is oil based so it would be richer texture. After five minutes of the application, it soaked in my skin beautifully. My skin is smooth and soft, even the I touched my face the following morning. I am not sure if it has any anti-aging or anti-wrinkle property, because I do not have any wrinkle yet (fingers cross).

I have been aware of this product for quite a long time but due to the cost I have not been in a position to purchase it. I have dry mature skin and I found this oil very rich and moisturising. My skin felt lovely and smooth after application although it is too heavy to use before applying foundationso probably more suitable for night time. The capsules are a cute gimmick and I found that I could get 2 applications from each capsule however I am not a fan of the unnecessary packaging. I think a pump pack or eye dropper would be better.

They look like golden vitamin capsules! The instructions said to twist the tab off in a circular motion twice and it will break off. It was very simple but at the same time messy as the serum spilled out onto my fingers. One capsule is enough for the entire face and neck for either night or day time but if you want, you could use half of it to split it between night and day. I felt it sat on top of my skin for a few hours before it was absorbed. By morning it was a bit oily, I was a bit surprised as I have dry skin, especially during the colder season. There is no scent to it, the serum feels more like a facial oil to me. The price tag is a bit too steep for me if I had wanted to buy this so I am happy with the sample I was given.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxurious rich serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive a sample of the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum in the last Beautorium. I had been seeing the capsules around and have been so curious to try them! The serum is encapsulated in individual rubbery/plastic packaging which allows the formula to be preservative free! (As the contents are not exposed to air, microorganisms are not able to enter, compared to serums in a dropper which can be exposed to air, may require a preservative to keep the contents free from microorganisms). Initially I was unsure of how to open the capsule- the first time round I twisted it and all the contents spilled out. The next time I decided to use scissors to snip the end off- this was a much less messier option! Like everyone else, I was surprised at the amount of product that was provided in one capsule- it could definitely be used for at least 2 applications. The serum was a viscous oil and felt very moisturising and replenishing when applied to the skin. As I have dry/dehydrated skin, this was perfect for me. It kept all the dry patches at bay and made my skin look more plump and feel incredibly soft. I would have to say that this serum is perfect for those with dry, mature, wrinkle prone skin. After the serum application, I followed with my usual mist of Avene Thermal Spring Water, a light layer of rosehip oil and a moisturiser to lock it all in place- this has been my night routine for the past few days! What I love about the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum is that it is preservative free, very moisturising and softens and plumps the skin. The only downside is the cost- at the price point I don't think I would go out running to the shops to purchase it!

Plenty of capsules in there to last a few weeks! I used these each morning as a part of my daily routine, after cleansing my face, and before applying primer. Skin felt very soft, and thoroughly moisturised without feeling heavy on the face. I have combination skin so I focused on my dry areas, particularly under my eyes. I did notice a difference over the 2 weeks used, mainly in the under eye area. The small gold capsules are easy to open, contain just the right amount of product for daily use, which is great, I usually get too much out! Unfortunately due to their RRP, it won't be something I will be able to continue. Thanks so much Beauty Heaven for letting my trial them though!!

It is a product I've used in the past but gotten out of the habit of buying. Good news is - I still love it! It's richly hydrating for dry skin and I do like the little capsules - it keeps the product 'fresh' and I suppose the ingredients active since they're not exposed to air until opened and ready for use. They're easy to use - I find, anyway - with the right amount to nourish face, neck ... and beyond! Yes, I do recommend Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum . However, it IS an expensive way to buy a serum. This is the only negative for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I've heard a lot about this Elizabeth Arden Serum, and I wasn't all that keen on buying into the hype, but wouldn't you know - the rumours were all true, this stuff is awesome! These capsules come in a box of 60, and all you have to do to access the serum is to twist off the top of a capsule, then squeeze the content out. The serum itself is a little oily, and feels incredibly rich on the skin, and I find that each capsule has more product in it for use than a one-off. I find that this takes a while to be absorbed into the skin, so I let it air dry and sink in slowly before I apply my moisturiser. This serum makes my face feel like it is soaking up an incredible amount of hydration, and is better when put together with my night cream than during the day with my makeup. I feel that this is best for the cooler months, as it may be too heavy for Summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for pigmentation- not too fond on the capsule design itself [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample tube of capsules during the beautorium. After reading reviews and doing some research I was very excited when they arrived. I have awarded this product 4 stars solely because of the capsules. I found them so hard to open and I ended up using scissors to slightly pierce each one. This made it much easier to control how much product came out. If I did it as directed I ended up with it all flooding out onto my hand. The capsule contains so much product, that I was able to use each one 3 times. This ment tho that I had to store the capsules in an air tight container in the fridge during the 3 days. The formula has a gentle smell and I love how easy it was to apply to my face. It felt and looked like a silky sheen. It took (using the reduced amount I was using) about 10 minutes to sink into my skin. Once settled my skin looked and felt pretty great. Over the 2 weeks my pigmentation reduced. I had no improvement in my fine lines tho, but it might take longer.... I could see my skin became much clearer and my blackheads had virtually disappeared. Also my pores seemed to be so much smaller, that I now use much less make-up.

While I really did love these serum capsules, however I thought the packaging just seems to be such a waste! Yes they were cute but as far as I know, they are not bio degradable?? The product would work just as well in a pump jar/bottle. My skin felt amazing after using the product , I used just once a day in the evening, I felt that it was a little too oily for me to use during the day. It wasn't too oily for the evening and my skin felt well moisturized and soft. Personally I probably would not purchase after trying the sample based on the price. I thought it was a bit expensive considering the range of professional skincare available at salons with equally impressive results.

It is a great product and the only factor that was a bit worrying was the packaging it concerned me that all those plastic capsules are not good for the environment. It would be great if it was in another type of packaging.

This serum is supplied in dinky little capsules, ensuring you don’t have to worry about how much to use – it’s pre-measured. I found that it was a little tough to twist or pinch the capsules open, and took to snipping them with a pair of scissors. This is quicker, neater, and less likely to result in unfortunate squirting incidents. However, the serum itself is wonderful. It immediately gives your skin a somewhat silky feel, and overnight dramatically increases how moisturised your skin feels. I did find that I needed to wait a little longer than average – perhaps five minutes – before I could effectively apply moisturiser over the top. I simply re-arranged the order of my night time routine, and found this no real problem. Apart from the minor challenge of finding the best way to open the capsules, I found no downsides to this product. It feels great on my skin, and it’s wonderfully effective.

This product comes in golden small soft round capsules. It's very easy to open them and not make a mess. Just remove the little tabby bit and squeeze onto your hands. This is very clear and runny, similar to a light oil in consistency. it glides over your face to well but u found it does take some time to sink in as my face felt quite oily afterwards. Therefore I would recommend to use at night time. After using a few of these, I can see my face is more hydrated , softer and glowing. It does have a heft price tag but it does work really well.

The product comes in convenient sized capsules, which are easy to open and would be handy if you were travelling. Applied before using moisturiser, I found it gives my everyday moisturiser an extra boost, which is great for nourishing dry winter skin.

I've been wanting to try something like this but the price point isn't ideal for those looking to sample. I love the little capsules although it is easy to spill some when you twist it open and really, it's too expensive to waste! After the first one I was a lot more careful with how I held it. It is a serum which some find too oily but I found great for my skin, it went on easily, felt smooth and not oily at all once you start applying and I found I could easily do my face, neck and hands with one capsule. I would lightly moisturise afterwards and within a few days I did notice my skin feeling a lot softer, less dry and it seemed like my skin tone was more even and less patchy too which was a great bonus! I don't wear makeup often so only applied any after this once but that was fine, it stayed on all day and felt great, in fact it probably came off a little easier at the end of the day. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this product and buying if I ever spot it on sale or end up with some birthday money to spend and splurge on myself.

The packaging is super pretty and I couldn't wait to try as I'm a recent serum convert and this product is certainly of higher quality than I can possibly afford at the moment. I was super surprised when I took the top off - there is SO much in a tiny capsule. For me I used half a capsule in the morning and half in the evening. It certainly made my skin feel soft and supple. Personally for me I prefer a serum to be more oil in texture - this kind of felt less oil and more a hybrid moisturiser - made my face very very shiny. But overall I like the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful Serum, But Pricey! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive a free sample of this serum in my Beautorium order. The consistency of this serum is very oily (in a good way). My oily skin has come to love the balancing effects of facial oils. This serum feels very rich & takes a while to absorb. When I put moisturiser on top, it felt too heavy. I don't have what you'd call thirsty skin. This serum is rich enough that I didn't need anything else. After a few weeks of nightly use, my skin has been feeling soft. I'm sure in the longer term I'd see great results. WOULD I PURCHASE? No. If I win Lotto one day, I'll probably buy this serum because it really is wonderful. Meanwhile, I find it hard to justify the expense. Also, as I throw the empty little capsules in the bin, I wonder if they break down. Made in Italy. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a 7 day sample of this with my most recent Beautorium order and I really enjoyed using this. I used this at night instead of my usual rose hip oil and these tiny capsules contain a lot of the serum/ oil enough to completely cover my face, neck and declotage. It sinks in to the skin very quickly which is great.My skin felt very moisturised and felt very soft and still felt that way the next morning. I found the capsules a bit fiddly to deal with and if your a bit clumsy (like me) you can end up loosing a bit of the liquid. Unfortunately there is absolutely no chance of me being able to afford this product but I do think it's a nice serum and I was happy to get this sample

I am so happy I was given the opportunity to trial this as this is not a product that I would have purchased. You apply the product after cleansing and before moisturizing. I was a bit skeptical about applying oil on my nose as I have combination skin and my nose gets very oily. However, after applying this daily, it has made my skin feel so much better. I'm still not convinced about the benefits of the oil in a capsule as opposed to a pump pack but this is a great product. I'm also not sure if I will be purchasing in the future due to the price point, but I will consider it.
