Directions

Apply foundation onto skin and blend with fingertips or an applicator.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm not a fan of liquid foundation in general as it tends to feel very heavy and mask like and I generally end up looking cakey or orange and streaky.\nMaybelline has always been my go to brand when I do want a fuller coverage foundation as they have shades that actually match my skin tone and provide medium coverage whilst feeling quite light and looking natural.\nI have combination skin so always opt for the matte versions of any liquid foundation as by the end of the day it usually ends up "dewy" looking anyway for me.\nThe Maybelline fitme foundation comes in an elegant and sturdy glass bottle which I like. The downside is there is no pump and the tilt to dispense method gets tricky once you get near the end of the product. \nThe scent is quite awful if I am to be totally honest-very chemical smelling and quite strong and off putting. The texture is quite runny so you have to be careful when dispensing as it can be easy to pour out way too much than needed.\nI found it easy to apply and my skin was left looking more even whilst still feeling quite bare. No heavy, pore clogging feel like I get with most liquid foundations with similar coverage. It looked very natural and the shade 120 Classic Ivory was a perfect match for my pale skin tone.\nI found it to stay in place for most of the day but I would recommend powdering the t-zones if you have extra oily skin to keep it in place.\nI'd recommend this for anyone looking for a quality medium coverage foundation that controls shine and looks and feels quite natural- all at an incredibly affordable price.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favourite drugstore foundation. This product is lightweight whilst still having decent coverage. It wears nicely throughout the day, although I still tend to get a bit oily around my T-zone, nothing that isn't normal though for someone with already oily skin. It tends to oxidise a bit though, and can transfer if not set properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For a foundation under $20 this is a winner! There is a good selection of warm and cool colours for lighter skin tones but sadly the range in Australia doesn't have many darker shades. This foundation applies best for me with a beauty blender and offers buildable coverage. The formula is light weight and does feel heavy or cake on the skin.I find I always get a flawless finish and the matte and poreless formula is perfect for combo or oiler skin types.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another great product by maybelline, really good for oily skin. I have oily skin and used to have trouble keeping the foundation on. But this product doesn't slide off, it's really good especially in the summer months. The foundation is really light as well compared to other foundations and it looks flawless when you apply it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline Fit me Matte+Poreless Foundation is available in 6 different shades , I bought it in Classic Ivory which is closest to my skin tone. The foundation comes in glass bottle with out pump which is not very easy to use. I have to pour the foundation and many times I pour more than the required amount which is total waste of product. The foundation has runny consistency and it is almost fragrance free. It apply smoothly on my face, blends really very well  into my skin . It provide very light coverage and looks like  I am not wearing any make up. After two coats, it gives medium coverage and does not look cacky at all. The foundation claims to make skin poreless but actually it does not make my skin poreless, my pores are still visible . It has good staying power and last for up to 7 hours on my face. It is transferable and can stain your clothes. This foundation is designed for oily skin and it still works ok on my dry skin, but after few hours my dry patches are visible. The saddest thing about this foundation is "It does Oxidize on my face", My face looks dark after few hours  (while being Asian I do not like to look dark, we  adore fair complexions) I think that its due to its formulation, as I have dry skin, I notice that those foundations which are designed for oily skin do oxidize on my face.Overall the foundation itself is good. it is more suitable for those who have normal or oily skin and they want light coverage. I will not recommend it for those who have very dry, mature or problematic skin and they want full coverage. Also I recommend using primer underneath to avoid oxidization.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like this foundation! I wouldn't quite call it matte. Personally I still need to powder my foundation to ensure its more long lasting. I find that the coverage is light to medium. It applies quite easily when using a damp beauty blender. I really like this foundation for every day use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline is a brand I've loved and trusted for many years now. They are affordable, fun, pretty and colourful, especially the ads, and most importantly they work, you get what you pay for, with change from $25 for a foundation, for example. I have combination/oily skin and visible pores, and red uneven skin tone, as well as the most pale skin ever, so when I saw that this would airbrush, even my skin, blur my pores and redness and control shine while not being mask like, I was immediately sold. The shade classic ivory was spot on for me, it applied and blended in beautifully and covered everything while still letting my real skin show through and it did mattify and control shine and oil, just like it said it would. It lasted all day until my nightly double cleanse, it was near perfect and I love it so much. It's only flaw is the bottle it comes in unfortunately, as it's hard to get out, messy and wasteful, it would really benefit from a pump top. Otherwise it's just a brilliant foundation from a brilliant brand. I am worth it, thanks maybelline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is in my opinion one of the best drugstore foundations for combination/oily skins. There is a decent variety of shades, however Maybelline shades tend to look either orange or pink, no pretty beige shades unfortunately.  The packaging is a pain in the neck but if we ignore the bottle without a pump, we get a pretty good quality product inside. The formula is rather runny and applies easily, blends into the skin effortlessly, looks good applied both with fingers and a beauty blender. Feels very lightweight on the skin, makes it look fresh, smoothed out and evens out tone and texture. The result is matte indeed, but not flat matte, it’s radiant at the same time.Pores seem to be refined, the skin looks really pretty and healthy. It is also quite long lasting although it will not stay put on the face all day long without touch ups. The negative ( apart from the packaging) is the fact that it may accentuate dry patches. Other than that, a very decent affordable foundation for combination/oily skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shade changed? I love this foundation. Bought a new one. While applying I realised there is no way this is the same shade as my usual. Did I pick up the wrong one? Check the label, no it’s the right one?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the undertone I expected. I bought for the first time fit me in 238 tone. I tried and check out which color would fit me and it is recommended 228 and 238 for medium yellow skin. But the 238 has more like a pink undertone which doesn't work for me because I have a yellow undertone. It makes me look bad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from For a “drug store” foundation this is incredible! \nI use this on a daily basis and it really does the job. It does seperate slightly around my nose but that is an oily area for me. \nIt can be annoying to apply as there is no pump bottle and you have to pour it out, I sometimes end up pouring to much but it’s easy enough to put back in the bottle. \nThe foundation does last the day and doesn’t have that cakey feeling. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not getting correct shad I bought 128 warm nude.. Its lighter to my skin.. Which shade suits me.. Vl u suggest me the shade.. 128 makes my face whitish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great price point. Has a lovely finish when first applied, but I find that it did separate and get a bit shiny towards the end of the day. It also settles a little in smile lines and on my chin. Its easy to work with when applying, but its not very good with touch ups, tried a couple of different techniques to try and combat the movement during the day but wasn't really satisfied with any of the results. I prefer the dewy version of this foundation as you know that your working with a dewy finish, rather than applying and looking matte and then slowly getting shiny/oily during the day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This foundation is a foundation that is at a good price point, one thing I loved was that the smell was not overpowering as recent makeup fad of Powerful peach or perfume scents in foundation/eyeshadow etc. As a patch test on my had it made my hand very smooth and did not enhance any texture. However, on the face the foundation collected in my scars and pores on my face with this test I used a smashbox primer. While I did not find this to be perfect I still did enjoy this foundation and it is at a good price point.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation. I rarely use drugstore foundations but this formula was very comfortable on the skin. It felt lightweight and definitely applied matte however it still looked very natural on the skin. It didn't have the best coverage and I prefer higher coverage so it's not something I would wear day to day. However this is perfect for anyone who wants to look like they are not wearing much makeup. It's like your skin but just a bit better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from How badly I wanted to rave about this product, but sadly it was one of those near misses for me. I trialled the product for 2 weeks, and in that time tried every conceivable remedy to stop this foundation from caking. And I don't mean a little frosting, I mean the wedding kind!\nPROS - loved the matte finish, the texture of the foundation, even the colour matching (although a little too generous to us fair folk, ivory really ought mean ivory). I loved the initial application, total coverage, flawless skin tone and complexion!! ... CON less than 3 hours in the office (under aircon) and my face was dreadful, caking on my t-zone that refused to blend a 2nd time\nI have fair combination skin, but don't ordinarily have extreme dry patches, however this product seemed to cause around my forehead and chin/jaw line. \nSadly I can't say I would recommend.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was an okay foundation. The shade was very different to my neutral skin tone and I found it hard to work with. However it was easy to apply and pretty good medium- full coverage. I wish they could account for more neutral skin tones. \nIt did appear cakey throughout the day, even when set differently (spray and powder or just spray) \nOverall it was OK, but not sure I would repurchase. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I picked my colour using the online tool on the Maybelline website. Unfortunately the colour I was matched with with much too light and made me look too washed out.\n\nI’m a fan of liquid foundation and liked that this came in a recyclable glass bottle, but wonder how practice it would be to use up all the product, especially when there is a small opening - too small too use a brush to get any remaining product out of. \nThe consistency was nice and smooth, and not thick, which was perfect for building coverage. I loved the light-medium coverage with the ability to build to fuller coverage. It feels very light weight which i loved. \nThis foundation says it’s for normal to combination skin, but I found that for the dryer areas of my skin (esp in winter) the foundation accentuated the dryness and looked patchy and obvious. On my next use I used a primer before the foundation which did help, but I still had the same problem. I think this would probably be best for people with a oilier complexion as I felt like it dried my skin.  \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foundation was nice. I found it easy to aoply, either by hand, sponge or brush leaving a matte finish. It provides medium coverage that can be built upon. It provided libg lasti g coverage however it did leave me looking a little shiny towards the end of the day, i do have combination skin which probably contributed to that.  Overall would recommend this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The foundation has possibilities. My biggest issue was using the online colour matching tool. No how many times I completed it,I came up with the same result, 235 Pure Beige. I had my doubts but went along with the suggestion. When iI received it the colour was way off. It was too orange and did not suit my skin tone at all. Disappointingly, it also didn’t come with a nozzle so you have to be careful about how much is dispensed. When I did wear it around home it did feel quite nice. Gave me a sheer to medium, matte coverage which is what i was after. It wears quite well but I did put a translucent powder over the top to keep it in place. I would recommend this product but would highly suggest you go in store and try the colour for yourself before buying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poreless foundation is a must for my skin as I have large pores. I found that it sat well on my nose, chin, and cheeks- areas with larger pores. The colour blended well with my skin, and while it provided good coverage it didn't appear too heavy. The glass bottle is inconvenient though, especially as it doesn't have a pump- I'm not looking forward to using it as it runs out.
Date published: 2018-09-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Coverage, fair price point, and not too many issues in terms of my skin reacting to the product, I did find it some issue with choosing the right tone for my skin with the quiz found on the brands website, but in terms of quality and what you pay for there are few complaints in contrast to the more expensive range of foundations out there
Date published: 2018-09-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A nice foundation that offers some light coverage. For its price point it has good coverage and plenty of colours to go between.\nIt was a very matte finish It almost air bruhed your skin, which depending on what style foundation you like could be a good or bad thing. \n
Date published: 2018-09-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I tested 122 creamy beige, which was a great colour match to my skin tone surprisingly enough from the online matching feature. I feel this is quite a good value product for the price however not so suited to my dryer combination skin type. Unfortunately I think the foundation accentuated my flaky dry areas and built up a bit in my under eye creases and around my nose. Also I had to use a few applications to get the coverage that I like as it is a light-weight foundation in comparison to my usual foundation. Overall I would consider trialing this brand again as a secondary weekend-lighter foundation due to the colour matching but not necessarily this exact product in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The product to apply for me personally wasn't the best. it seem to pick up all my dry skin and really highlight it. I tried applying a primer on first but that still did not make any difference. This could be that I picked the incorrect type (normal to oily) for my skin type and the fact that the foundaiton had a powerdy finish. Several hours later the dry skin look seem to calm down a bit and it looked much better. I did really like the matte finish on the foundation however and I loved that was quick and easy to apply. I didn't have to play around for too long to get the coverage. I also love how your pores do seem to disappear. However As a mum (tired all the time) I am not sure that it gave me any amazing coverage for my bags under my eyes.\nI also incorrectly picked a shade too light for my skin type which didn't look the best. next time I will buy one shade darker. \n The price for this foundation is very very good and I would therefore recommend it to people at work and friends, but I would highlight to them how important it is to pick the right shade and type for your skin.\n\n
