Ideal for normal to dry skin types, but specifically designed for sensitive skin, Anthelios Ultra Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ 50mL is a light and moisturising sunscreen that is ultra-comfortable, non-greasy and offers SPF50+ broad spectrum protection. It contains antioxidant Baicalin to fight free radicals on the surface of the skin, as well as a chemical and physical filtering system, that helps to prevent skin damage caused by sun exposure and pollution. Dermatologically tested and fragrance free for sensitive skin, Anthelios Ultra Facial Sunscreen SPF50+ is also tested for around the sensitive eye area. It is anti-eye stinging and leaves no white marks. Packaged in a sleek and easy-to-use pump form, product wastage is reduced. UV radiation is present every day of the year. Directions

Apply as the last step of your skincare routine, 20 minutes before exposure. Suitable for use under make-up.

Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming, towelling and perspiring in accordance with directions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High SPF sunscreen I recently tried the La Roche-Posay Anthelios ultra Cream. It is a a sunscreen for normal to dry skin. It provides SPF 50+ broad-spectrum protection. The sunscreen is enriched with antioxidant baicalin to fight free radicals on the surface of the skin. It comes in a tube and is easy to dispense the liquid white cream. I felt it was a bit sticky for my liking especially when you layer it up with foundation and make up on hot sunny days. It does not have any strong fragrance and is parafeen free. It did get absorbed into the skin after a bit of applying. But its not something for me especially during summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great for oily skin... Duh I purchased this on the grounds of it being safe to use on the eyes. I didn't wanna irritate my uveitis. And I was happy, the claims were true. I sweated for hours and nothing was burning. However yes, formulated for dry to normal skin. Unfortunately I was oily thus the sunscreen shined through. Perhaps it could be that I was wearing the wrong moisturizer? It was formulated for dry to sensitive skin and layered on with this sunscreen was not a great idea. I've tried using it by itself and it was somewhat ok. But you can't really not use moisturizers.

Why??? and if you wanted to add a medium tone why not just add it rather than messing an established colour. Really disappointed. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this sunscreen not for my self but for a friend overseas who had allergies and swore by this make.  I think it is an excellent product and do try some myself.  It is light goes on easily and great for wearing with or without makeup.  It has a distinct smell which is problematic when its no one you actually feel comfortable with.  It is useful for using on one's face but that is the limit.  I also thing that the sizing is meagre with respect to the price and the need in humid climates to keep reapplying throughout the day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I enjoyed this version of the sunscreen much more than the tinted one. It seemed to be less greasy and not nearly as shiny, even though it still felt heavy on the skin. I wasn’t able to wear this on days when I wanted to wear makeup as it was detectable on the face and would possibly make the makeup slide off. I did put on some mascara and sadly it transferred due to greasy formula. The sunscreen was gentle on my face though and didn’t cause any breakouts despite feeling heavy. I will continue to use it on no makeup days when all I want is great protection. Big plus for the bottle with pump!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A couple of pit falls The cream itself OK - does what you would expect. The scent however is so overwhelming; smells like perfume and give me a headache. Very bad for a product marketed for the face. The colour is OK - it has performed better than a lot of colour adapting products, but it is still noticeably darker than my own complexion; gives me an orange glow (I am quite pale though).

I must say that I preferred the comfort cream tint and I am disappointed that it has been discontinued. I notice that other reviewers have made similar comments. Please bring back the tinted comfort cream as I will not be purchasing the anthelios ultra again as its too orange.

It advertises that it is for sensitive eyes and non perfumed, but I disagree, its very powerful and almost made my eyes sting when applying.

I have sensitive skin and I didn't have any reaction, which is also great. Unfortunately this product does not have a "universal tint". It is left my skin looming quite Orange, and I won't be able to continue using it. It's so disappointing because it's a great product otherwise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from so disappointed! i tried really hard to make this work for my skin as i use a lot of La Roche products which i love but unfortunately it's not for me. I cannot blend it in no matter how many different methods I tried. It sits up on top of my skin and is really patchy in spite of my attempts to use it over different moisturizers and serums. I had thought because it's a BB cream that it would give a sheer tint of colour or a colour that would melt into my skin more. After 4 days in a row of patchy looking foundation covered skin I am giving up and feeling very disappointed as La Roche Posay is usually a brand i can trust and rely on for my skin care.

It is very thick to apply, feels like I have a sticky cream on my face. It did not blend well and was quite streaky. 1 hour later and my face is so shiny I will have to wash off before heading out.

It takes a LOT of blending, and even then I sometimes have to remove the product and start again. It’s just make your face look like your wearing a cheap foundation and don’t even talk about how your pores will look.

But my experience with this product has not been good. Firstly, it goes on super thick like grease paint, and then when I try to blend it in it refuses to blend. It looks super-cakey and patchy. Big waste of time and money for me.
