This BB Cream has been specifically formulated for dry, sensitive skin. It is a lightweight cream that has a non-greasy, moisturising and nourishing texture, making it comfortable to wear every day. Anthelios Ultra Tinted BB Cream SPF50+ 50ml contains micro-pigments that melt into the skin, providing a universal tinted finish adapted to your skin tone. Containing chemical sunscreen filters as well as a physical sunscreen filter - titanium dioxide, it creates a physical barrier of protection on top of the skin to deflect and scatter damaging UV rays away. UV radiation is present every day of the year. Directions

Apply as the last step of your skincare routine, 20 minutes before exposure. Suitable for use under make-up.

Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming, towelling and perspiring in accordance with directions.

Not overly oily or greasey, and it sunk in quite well providing a good base for the day. As someone with slightly sensitive skin, I didn't have any reactions to the product. I loved the pump packaging ensuring minimal mess.

I was very impressed with the pump packaging, and I think it would be great to pop in your bag on-the-go. \n\nI found this sunscreen to be light, pleasantly fragranced (not too strong) and it was great to use alone or under makeup. Unlike the BB cream which caused me to have an allergic reaction, this sunscreen did not cause my skin to break out in hives! I would recommend this as an everyday sunscreen for those with sensitive skin. \n

I was sent La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Cream SPF 50+ to trial, and was pleasantly surprised!\n\nThere is a very slight yellow tint to this formula, which I really liked as it blends in to my skin so much better than the usual stark white sunscreen! The packaging is perfect to travel with, as there is a cap over the pump so there's no danger of it leaking anywhere.\n\nI deducted one star as there is a hint of sunscreen smell - but it's SO much milder than any other sunscreen I've tried, and the texture is light and smooth.\n\nI highly recommend using the La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Cream SPF 50+ all over the body, followed by the La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Tinted BB Cream on the face (which has an amazing, luxurious scent and a beautiful tint, with the ideal amount of coverage!) - I've been using these two together as part of my summer skincare routine, and my skin is loving the results - no sunburn here!\n

My problem is usually through sweat and getting in and out ocean regular sun screen gets in my eyes and inflames the and makes them all red but that doesn’t happen with this product.\n\nFor me living in Australia the major appeal to this product is the 50spf, knowing your skin is safely covered is very important.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from was so happy to try this product for summer. I am quite fair skinned and my face does burn and get red easily in the sun. I do often overlook the importance of using sunscreen daily in my beauty regime especially to prevent skin cancers and agespots.\n\nI generally use body sunscreen in on my face but my eyes are sensitive and I often end up some getting in my eyes because body sunscreen is so greasy.\n\nI didn’t not have trouble at all with this product. It’s non-greasy and thicker cream so easy to apply onto face. Just like a primer except it’s sunscreen. You could even replace a primer with this in summer. My skin felt light and breathable with it on, no residue and still effective. Rubbed excess into hands and didn’t need to wash it off like other sunscreens.\n\nI wore this to the beach and only needed to reapply once after swimming. It fits into a small purse so very handy size but I gather for the small size it is pricey.\n\nNon-perfumed and has a little pump dispenser for just the right amounts. I would definitely recommend this but would look into other volume sizes vs price as it can be used up quickly.

The tube made it easy to dispense, had a nice smell & was non-irritating. It did still have the tell-tale sunscreen feel, with a slight oily residue & was a thick cream to apply. However for the sun protection it provides, I would still definitely recommend.

It blended in really nicely and worked well on its own and under makeup. The smaller tube design meant it was easy to take out and reapply as needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've been a long time user of La Roche Posay, and some of my favourite products from them over the years have been their SPF daily lotions. While I'm a big fan of their latest SPF lotion to hit the shelves, I have to confess that it's not my absolute favourite. First things first - this comes in a tube with a pump and clear pull off cap. \n\nThe product comes out easily, and doesn't make much of a mess. It's easy to spread on the skin, but does end up a bit of a greasy mess. I usually take the time to go and sit down for breakfast while it sinks into the skin. Thankfully, by the time I end up applying my makeup, the lotion has already sunk in. This does seem to leave a little bit of a shine, but that is easily covered up by makeup (or can be used to enhance your glow!). \n\nWith SPF 50 in it, it's been used daily since I got it. I do wish it were slightly less greasy, though, but at least it doesn't interfere with the makeup, so that's definitely a win!\n

I love that this sunscreen is SPF 50+. The product was easy to apply and didn't have much of a fragrance to it. The product did feel a bit oily on my skin which I didn't really like but it didn't feel as heavy as some other sunscreens I have previously used. Overall it was a nice product to use and would recommend it to people with sensitive skin as it didn't make me breakout and I didn't have any adverse reactions with the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High SPF sunscreen I recently tried the La Roche-Posay Anthelios ultra Cream. It is a a sunscreen for normal to dry skin. It provides SPF 50+ broad-spectrum protection. The sunscreen is enriched with antioxidant baicalin to fight free radicals on the surface of the skin. It comes in a tube and is easy to dispense the liquid white cream. I felt it was a bit sticky for my liking especially when you layer it up with foundation and make up on hot sunny days. It does not have any strong fragrance and is parafeen free. It did get absorbed into the skin after a bit of applying. But its not something for me especially during summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs more shades I love the 50+ sensitive eyes suncream and have been using it for years so I thought I’d give the BB cream in the same range a go. I do like it however there needs to be more shades! I know it is supposed to be a universal colour that blends with your skin colour but it doesn’t on me. I end up looking like I have a bad fake tan on my face. Also being someone with sensitive/reactive skin I always get concerned when I put something so fragranced on my skin.

Suitable as a layer under liquid foundation to neutralise that washed out look SPF products can give. Very sheer coverage on its own and is still shiny after drying.

The 50+ sunscreen is good. When I finish this, I will try another brand

Seems to be for people that use fake tan and need their faces to match their bodies. It blended beautifully and sat well, just in a shade of tangerine that did not suit my colouring at all. If they brought out a "light" shade, like the Cancer Council one, I'd try it again.

I use a lot of La Roche Posay products but this one I have to say I’m most reluctant and it will probably end up in the back of my vanity, I wish I’d have used a sample first. It’s oily. La Roche Posay does great anti-shine versions of this product that I highly recommend instead of this one.. Although also, the anti shine version doesn’t come in this shade of tint.

Why??? and if you wanted to add a medium tone why not just add it rather than messing an established colour. Really disappointed. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this sunscreen not for my self but for a friend overseas who had allergies and swore by this make.  I think it is an excellent product and do try some myself.  It is light goes on easily and great for wearing with or without makeup.  It has a distinct smell which is problematic when its no one you actually feel comfortable with.  It is useful for using on one's face but that is the limit.  I also thing that the sizing is meagre with respect to the price and the need in humid climates to keep reapplying throughout the day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I enjoyed this version of the sunscreen much more than the tinted one. It seemed to be less greasy and not nearly as shiny, even though it still felt heavy on the skin. I wasn’t able to wear this on days when I wanted to wear makeup as it was detectable on the face and would possibly make the makeup slide off. I did put on some mascara and sadly it transferred due to greasy formula. The sunscreen was gentle on my face though and didn’t cause any breakouts despite feeling heavy. I will continue to use it on no makeup days when all I want is great protection. Big plus for the bottle with pump!
