Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love using this Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. My skin has been loving this. This matte foundation really helps with my oily skin. Matte skin all day and reduce the pore appearance.  The color match my skin tone. It is quite a watery consistency so u can adjust the layer of thickness/ coverage depends on how you like it. The bottle size it's a bit smaller side. What I do not like the most it's I prefer to have it as a pump bottle instead of pouring it out to use as it is harder to control the amount I need to use. Overall I think this will suits the coming summer weather to control the shine on oily skin.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline's FITME Matte & Poreless Foundation is definitely a foundation I would purchase again. \nThe formula itself doesn't have the same full coverage and I find that Maybelline's products normally have, it is a lot more fluid-like and watery. \nIt is great for a natural everyday look when you want to have the low-maintenance appearance with minimal make up, however for a full day out / long day at work / night time event, for me it didn't stand the test.\nWhen wearing to work, I had to use my concealer to cover the bags under my eyes and the pigmentation on my upper lip as I found these problem areas were not covered by the foundation. \n\nThis being said, I do like my weekends where I don't want much on my skin so it was perfect for this, and it is easy to wear with serum, moisturiser, and sun cream underneath. The overall finish of the product is really nice, especially as it's Matte it stops me from looking oily.\nI think everyone should have at least 2 types of foundation - one with a fuller coverage and one that it lighter and more natural.\n

I don't feel as if it clogs your skin but still seems to last throughout the day which is great. The finish is matte, but still gives your skin a slight dewy texture, but not shiny. Overall an amazing foundation and great price!

It lasts all day and I don’t find it oxidizes much at all. A comfortable and affordable options, that I would repurchase again.

You can layer up if you would like a heavier cover. \nThe colour does end up fitting your skin colour better a few minutes after application. Initially it looked a little light for my skin colour, but it darkened after a few minutes.\nI don't like the fact there is no pump, but I do like the glass bottle. \n

It provides medium coverage for combination to oily skin such as mine, I chose the 105 Fair Ivory shade to trial. \nOnce applied with a beauty blender I applied powder to set the foundation which I found kept my skin from looking shiny and oily by midday. I found it to be lightweight and easy to apply and blend. \nMy one peeve about this foundation is the packaging as it doesn’t come with a pump bottle, making it easy to over dispense the product.\nOverall would recommend as an affordable pharmacy store foundation. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed using this foundation. I have very temperamental oily skin that can also get very dry and irritable. For this reason, I try to stay away from mattifying products because I feel they are so dry. But this foundation did not dry my face out at all! In fact for the first half of the day my skin stayed matt looking and then the other half of the day my skin looked a little dewy which I liked. The colour was also a perfect match which I was surprised by, since I have extremely fair skin colour that never seems to match properly with other foundations.\n\nOverall the product did as it said it would, it provided a medium coverage that stayed matt most of the day. The colour match was exceptional. The product didn't irritate my skin which was also a very nice surprise. The foundation did last long but my only issue is that the medium coverage stayed on OK (not amazingly). I think if I'm going to wear a foundation all day, I just want to be able to accidently brush my face and not have my foundation come off, or worry about it getting onto my white top (which it did). So that's why this product got 4 stars instead of 5.  \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this foundation, the shade I picked was a little dark for me as I haven't seen some sun in a while, but with a slight tan it was perfect. it went on smoothly, covered any bumps and redness that I had on my face and lasted nicely on my skin. I think it may be my new go to for during the day.

It did make my skin look and feel a little Cakey and heavy but once I set it with some powder it was fine the biggest issue I had was that there was no pump to dispense the product. Which my daily foundation has now and it just makes it easier to not waste so much foundation.

The colour is a reasonable match, I went in store and tried some other colours from the range and this is the best one, maybe slightly too warm but the others were too pale/pinky. I would just have to make sure to blend it nicely with my neck. \n\nI would prefer a pump bottle, I found I was using more of this foundation than my others. I found the coverage to be lighter than I was expecting, but it's a nice finish. \n\nFor the price it's a good product. I like that there is no smell and it feels nice if you choose to use fingers over brush, but applied better with brush and more evenly. \n\nI had a week where my skin was dryer than usual and I found it didn't work as well and was a bit cakey in some spots, so for normal and oily skin it worked better and was nice. \n\n

I have to say, I was super impressed by the colour match (especially using the online system) - fair/ivory for me was perfect.\n\nI found this foundation worked best when applied using a slightly damp beauty blender (instead of rubbing, I pressed the foundation into my skin).\n\nI gave this four stars because of the price point, colour match and build able coverage:\n\nIt has a thin consistency, which allows you to build the coverage you desire. \n\nIt feels lightweight on your skin (which is what I prefer) with medium coverage, I set the foundation with a little bit of powder under my eyes and was good to go. \n\nEven though it has a matte finish, I found my skin looked dewy and fresh. It went from day to night, I only had to touch up with a little concealer when going from work to drinks. \n\nThis is an affordable everyday foundation, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a product that allows you to build coverage, feels lightweight on the skin, and blurs pores.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been really enjoying using the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless foundation in 220 Natural Beige. The product itself is housed in a nice glass bottle with a plastic black screw top lid. One pretty major (in my opinion) downside to this foundation is that it doesn't come with any sort of pump, just a screw top lid. I find I had trouble getting product out of the bottle which is a little frustrating.\n\nThe foundation itself is quite liquid in consistency making it easy to spread and blend into the skin. The foundation's coverage is medium which you can build to higher coverage if needed. The foundation I have seems to have a strong alcohol smell which I thought was a little interesting. I would've probably liked it to have a subtle fragrance rather than an alcohol smell.\n\nI tried applied the foundation with both a brush and beauty sponge. I found using a sponge helped increase the coverage while using a brush resulted in more natural/sheer coverage. I like this about this foundation as I can make it more natural for everyday but also build coverage up for nights out and special occasions. I also liked that if you did build coverage it didn't look cakey or heavy which can happen with full coverage foundations.\n\nThe foundation did seem to last quite well on my skin with some patchiness after 8 hours of wear. Perhaps a setting spray would have helped increase the lasting power of this foundation. Overall a good everyday foundation but be sure to purchase a screw top pump to make it easier to dispense product out of the bottle.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I trialed the Nude Beige shade of the Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation which was a little dark for my pale winter skin...but I think it will be great for summer.  There are LOTS of shades to choose from though - so you should have no trouble finding a shade that will match.  The foundation blended easily with just my fingers and provided good all-day medium coverage.  There was no caking or drying through the day and my face still looked matte and flawless after 8 hours wear.  I'm not 100% sold on the packaging - I love that it comes in a glass bottle (recyclable) but dispensing the right amount was a little difficult.  Although using with a foundation brush or blender would probably solve this issue and also allow you to build coverage (if needed).  I only like a light/medium coverage so this foundation definitely provided that.  At the price point, I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone wanting a medium coverage, long lasting, matte finish foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this foundation a lot. It’s not too matte that it clings to dry spots and I can get a good 8 hours wear out of it before I start to look too shiny. I’m thankful for once that a foundation oxidises because the shade a have is a hair too pale but once it oxidises it’s a perfect match, it probably oxidises about a shade or 2 darker in my opinion. I don’t like the bottle, I wish it had a pump or a squeeze tube.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been a loyal user of this foundation for YEARS, and I'm so happy that Maybelline have released a bunch of new shades because it isn't easy finding your perfect match when it comes to drugstore foundations. The formula gives me a medium-full coverage finish without it feeling heavy or looking cakey on the skin, and it does a brilliant job at giving me a poreless/flawless complexion. I have oily skin so I always reach for a matte foundation and the lasting power is pretty great on this one! I gave it 4 stars simply because it doesn't have a pump dispenser so it can become quite messy and wasteful. A part from that, I think it's an absolute winner of a foundation and a definite must-buy!

With drug store foundations I usually find that they are too pink and not yellow/olive enough for me, this one was perfect! I have an oily t zone and didn't get oily with this foundation nor did it feel greasy or sticky. After I applied the foundation, it dried quite quickly and didn't really transfer. I think its a great everyday foundation!

It was easy to apply and allowed me to build the coverage to my preference. I liked that it went matte after drying so I didn’t need to apply powder on top to set it & it felt really smooth on my skin. I did find that it didn’t quite last all day but for a foundation a lot cheaper than others, I was still really happy with the quality of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As someone with freckled skin and pigmentation, I always feel more confident wearing a foundation that provides good coverage. For the last year I have been using a stick formula and so I was excited to try Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte + Poreless liquid foundation in shade 112 Natural Ivory, to see how it compared. It was so easy to apply and blend with a damp beauty blender and I was amazed at what great coverage a small amount provided. It performed well both by itself and also over the top of the red and green colour correctors that I tend to use. I was pleasantly surprised that I was actually able to build enough coverage on my problem areas (red nose and dark eye circles) to be able to skip using the colour corrector at all, if I wanted to. It was also great to have the option of being able to use lighter coverage in other areas. I am quite conscious of the pores on my nose and found that I could use a regular primer as opposed to a pore-minimising primer, when using this foundation. The foundation also provided a beautiful matte finish that didn’t look dry or cracked, when applied over my regular primer. When I set it with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, it lasted the whole day. I found that despite the excellent coverage, the foundation still felt light to wear. The sample that I tried definitely suited my coverage needs, although I may try a warmer shade heading into summer. I highly recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a lasting medium to full-coverage foundation with a light feel and matt finish. \n

I found coverage was good, not perfect but was still good, it was light, didn’t feel heavy or cakey and lasted throughout the night. I love how there’s so many shades so it’s bound to suit everyone. \nApplication was better with a blender than a brush, I had to use a little more than I do when I’m using the Revlon Colourstay but not a lot more and even though I used more product, it actually felt better on my skin. \nI’d prefer a pump bottle but that’s only a small issue and I’m happy to get over it because it’s an all round good foundation. \nPrice is great\nTexture, application, scent and finish are all great, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a good foundation at a great price \n

I'm more pale in the winter months and tan quite easily in summer.  I didn't find the product drying, clumpy or cakey at the end of the day.  I wore day to night without any issues. I also mixed in a small amount of liquid highlighter, which both together went well.\nI used the product with powder blush and bronzer and received compliments. \nThe liquid was light and easy to apply with a brush and didn't clump or hard to blend. \nOnly criticism is no pump, have to be very careful not to pour too much out of the small glass bottle. Only needed a few drops and can build up if needed.  I would recommend this product to anyone who likes a light to medium coverage and like a great steal with pricing.\n

It applies easily and I like applying it with my fingers and then I just blend into my skin.  The foundation is medium coverage and is not cakey and doesn't feel heavy on my face. It has a typical foundation scent, which I like, sort of cosmetic and medicinal, but fades away immediately after applying.\n\nI apply this foundation after my daily moisturiser and sometimes I use a primer, but it's not necessary. This foundation is light and creamy enough to work without a primer, it goes on smoothly and doesn't clump or look thick on my skin. If I want more coverage, then I apply a little bit more and blend. This foundation hides my dark blemishes and makes my skin look soft and dewy. I can remove this foundation with my cleanser or with makeup remover wipes. \n\nPros:\nLow priced\nNon irritating \nGood coverage\n\nCons:\nCan transfer slightly \n\nRecommendation:\nThis foundation is a great long lasting foundation that keeps my skin looking natural and fresh all day long. \n\n

It's really affordable, has a light consistency but covers what you need it to and doesn't have a strong smell (which is always a plus). I have quite oily/combination skin and I find that this product lasts all day when set with powder. It is matte, but not so matte that it makes your skin look dull. I wear the Natural Beige shade which perfectly suits my complexion and isn't too pink. Great product if you like build-able coverage- wouldn't recommend if you like heavy coverage. \n\n

It is designed for combination/oily skins but I dry skin and I can get away with this foundation with a hydrating primer. This foundation gives me a nice natural matte finish which is what I prefer and last for 4-5 hours without touch-up. The only improvement is that I prefer either a pump top or a squeeze tube which will be a lot convenient to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline's FITME Matte + Poreless Foundation is great for oily skin with enlarged and visible pores. My skin type is the exact above so this foundation was perfect for me.\nThe shade 220 Natural Beige was a very close match to my skin tone and the yellow undertone was perfect.\n\nThe formula is quite a light, fluid-like consistency, but I did notice upon application that it did build up some areas, leaving it a little patchy. The way I applied it was firstly putting little spots of foundation on my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. I then used my brush to blend each spot. But I found this method to leave patches as the foundation dried very quickly, so the next time I applied the foundation I blended straight away and it left no patches and gave me an even finish.\n\nThe matteness of the foundation is great. I didn't notice any oilness on my t-zone until a few hours later. The foundation did a great job hiding my pores as well, so my makeup really did look flawless. I applied some translucent powder over the top to set it and it lasted several hours.\n\nThe glass bottle packaging is lovely, but I wasn't a fan of the open top. I would have preferred either a pump top or a squeeze tube. It's a lot more hygienic and eliminates wastage.\n\nOverall, I was pleased with this foundation and will continue using it.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I needed a foundation to use everyday for work as I didn't want to use my more expensive ones so I came across the Maybelline fit me matte foundation which I thought would work well for my oily skin.  I normally find it very hard to find foundation that matches my skin but luckily I found one that matched my skin really well.  I prefer liquid foundation as I find that it helps cover up my redness and pigmentation a lot better.  This liquid wasn't too thick nor too thin.  I applied it with a makeup sponge all over my face while concentrating on the areas that needed more coverage like my cheeks.  It was a bit difficult getting the foundation out as there was no pump so you had to pour it out.  This would make the process difficult as sometimes too much of the foundation would come out or not enough. The foundation was lightweight but still had some great coverage.  You can definitely layer it to take it from medium to full coverage without it looking caked on.  I would set it with a bit of loose powder to prevent the foundation from moving.  The foundation stayed on pretty well for most of the day but it would start to fade a bit after a couple of hours.  The foundation would keep my skin matte but it wasn't the best for minimising pores.  Nevertheless it's still a good foundation and great for those who want medium to full coverage while keeping their skin shine free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is my go to foundation for sure. It’s so affordable and has a great shade range. The finish is amazing and helps control the oils in my t zone especially my nose and chin area which normally build up during the day due to the heat in QLD. It’s so easy to build up coverage, I would definitely say it’s a medium to full coverage foundation. It blends so well, I normally use a beauty blender to apply it but it works well with a brush too. The only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a pump to dispense the product just for hygienic reasons. Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am so happy with this foundation. Its the perfect shade for me. Has a light liquidy texture and does not give you that cakey and heavy feel at all. You do not feel anything like a foundation on your skin, yes it's that light.\nUpon application it gives you a perfect poreless look even without a primer on. After 8 hours of application my skin was still matte without any touch ups.\nTo top it all i did not even apply any finishing powder after i applied this foundation. Gave me a natural finish with a perfect baby skin like texture.\nI can't recommend this product enough.\nAlthough if i had to pick one drawback that would be it's packaging. It does not have a pump bottle like most other foundation and comes in a solid bottle that gets messy to apply but the product itself works great.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great products but not much colour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this foundation for almost 2 years now. It’s great on oily skin but the range of colour is not that great. I use 220 natural beige ( a little dark for me ) other color is way too pink. Please bring more color to Australia
