Directions for use:
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Not recommended for children 6 years or less. Colgate recommends specially formulated Colgate children's toothpaste. Up to 12 hours of protection against bacteria with 4-weeks continuous use.

*2x daily (every 12 hours) brushing with 4 weeks continued use.
**Fight tartar, cavities and bad breath based on bacterial plaque reduction vs. non-antibacterial fluoride toothpaste with 3 months continued use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colgate Total had an upgrade! ;) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As toothpaste isn't the sort of product you change often, I was interested in testing and trialling the new Colgate Total Active Prevention Mint Stripe Toothpaste as an occasional user of the prior product. There are significant improvements! First the packaging - Love the size and standup tube. Super convenient for travel and everyday use. Second, the taste and mouth texture - The older version often was fresh tasting, but had a slightly chalky mouthfeel. This one feels smooth, leave teeth feeling smooth and fresh, with no residue other than the fresh minty flavour after your brush. I was using the product twice a day (morning and evening) and plan to continue using this after the trial.

It keeps the product close to the opening and keeps the opening cleaner because you don’t have to squeeze as hard as. I also love that the tube can stand up on its lid, which is super handy. The only downside is that I like to use a toothpaste dispenser in my shower, and the opening (with the cap off) is too small to fit. Other than that, it’s a great toothpaste!

But this toothpaste is like a deep exfoliation for your teeth! I love the feeling I get afterward and how long that clean feeling lasts. It also has a plenty minty taste that isn’t too ‘spicey’ and doesn’t leave your eyes watering! Also gentle on gums and no sensitivity after using it. Great product!
