Directions for use:
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Not recommended for children 6 years or less. Colgate recommends specially formulated Colgate children's toothpaste. Up to 12 hours of protection against bacteria with 4-weeks continuous use.

*2x daily (every 12 hours) brushing with 4 weeks continued use.
**Fight tartar, cavities and bad breath based on bacterial plaque reduction vs. non-antibacterial fluoride toothpaste with 3 months continued use.

The toothpaste leaves you with fresh smelling breath. It foams up well during use and gets into all the nooks and crannies of your mouth. I really enjoyed using this product.

It had a distinct spearmint flavour. Initially I thought the flavour was very mild, but after I had used it, I felt even though it was mild it was long lasting. The paste foamed really well in the mouth and the foam lasted the entire 2 minutes that I use my electronic toothbrush. I also tried it with a regular toothbrush as I went away for a weekend and I found that it also foamed easily and the foam was long lasting. After I'd cleaned my teeth, they felt clean and this feeling stayed with me until I ate something.

I did like the minty freshness feeling during brushing and it lasted a while after which was nice. My main reason is that it actually left a strange taste in my mouth a fair while after. Not sure how to describe it but nevertheless it was not something I think I care to get used to. On a positive note, I love how the tube stands up on it's own but that won't appeal to everyone, especially if you have a toothpaste holder in your bathroom. I also expect this will substantially increase the price too which I'm not prepared to pay much more for toothpaste!

I was truly hoping for that clean fresh feeling, but it is significantly lacking. There is no mint fresh fragrance or taste & does not thoroughly clean my teeth. My teeth feel unclean in an hour or so following brushing. I'm gathering it does not have the same ingredients as the other Colgate toothpastes.
