Directions for use:
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Not recommended for children 6 years or less. Colgate recommends specially formulated Colgate children's toothpaste. Up to 12 hours of protection against bacteria with 4-weeks continuous use.

*2x daily (every 12 hours) brushing with 4 weeks continued use.
**Fight tartar, cavities and bad breath based on bacterial plaque reduction vs. non-antibacterial fluoride toothpaste with 3 months continued use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colgate Total Mint Stripe toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm reviewing Colgate Total Mint Stripe toothpaste, an antibacterial and fluoride toothpaste that reduces bacteria on the teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums so offers more than just cleaning your teeth. The toothpaste has a minty taste to it, that certainly was noticeable on the tongue and around the mouth, so whilst I can't say what the effect on the bacteria was, it did feel like it was cleaning the mouth and the teeth. The taste of the minty stripe was pleasant but not too strong. Colgate Total Mint Stripe toothpaste comes in a regular toothpaste tube but with a larger cap. This has the benefit of standing upright on your bathroom bench to reduce clutter, and the nozzle is easy to use and apply the toothpaste without waste or mess. When the toothpaste is applied it comes out with obvious minty stripes rather than all messed up! My mouth felt refreshed after using Colgate Total Mint Stripe toothpaste so I am happy to recommend using it to others.

I love my Triple Action toothpaste and have used it for years. The Total Mint Stripe is a different taste as it left my mouth feeling fresh and "zingy" after cleaning my teeth. Freshness lasted for hours which was really pleasing. Have since noticed that my husband has already purchased a tube, even if by mistake, it's a good mistake!

The recent Colgate toothpastes I have tried, have tasted too much like Mouth Wash (yuk). The amount needed on the toothbrush was about the size of a pea. Anything more than that resulted in a mouthful of suds that got in the way of effective brushing. My mouth was left with a clean fresh feeling and no after burn. I would definitely use it again.
