General Information

Directions

Using the enclosed spatula or your fingertips, scoop a small amount onto hand and apply to face and neck in the morning and evening after cleansing and toning. For best results, use with the Ultra R4 range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely 'needle free filler I bought this product because I wanted something that will enhance my face without having to have botox, also thinking it will be just a few days of results but back to square 1. It's been from the moment I put it on my face instantly I could see the deep wrinkle on my forehead start to melt into the skin, I was a amazed. Next day on waking I touched my face and felt it smoother than it has ever been, with my complexion bright and dewy, under eye bags had disappeared and the crows around my eyes were only when I smiled.. on using 4 weeks in and my face just becomes better and better, a although I only use it at night but you can use it am and pm. This is the best product I have ever used that offers everything and beyond that is promised. Thank you Dr Le winn, I will use this product forever. Please keep up your absolutely wonderful products

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating and locks in moisture This is a gel moisturiser that comes in a 30ml jar with a small spatula. The gel that also contains these pink balls that you need to massage into your skin to dissolve. The formula contains a special ingredient called Neodermyl - a combination of muthylglucoside phosphate, proline, lysine and also copper, marketed as being able to increase the production of collagen and elastin in skin. The reduction in collagen and production is the cause of loss of firmness and elasticity in aging skin. The formula also contains ginseng (antioxidant) and centella asiatica (soothing) extracts, cermaide 3. The gel-cream itself is very pleasant, it's hydrating, slightly cooling in summer and it has some substance - it doesn't just evaporate and disappear like some other gel formulas. I haven't had any issues even using it in the day under sunscreen either. There is some fragrance but it's not overpowering. I found the pink balls a bit fiddly because some of them end up on my fingers instead of my face when I spread the product. I'm not sure if they serve any functional purpose. What I do love about this product is its unique texture that keeps my face hydrated and doesn't just disappear after getting absorbed. There is almost a sleeping mask-like quality to it. I found that it works really well with my Medicube Age-R Booster pro device, as it gives my skin surface a lovely slip so that my device glides over my skin and doesn't tug, and it lasts for the minutes needed for the treatment. I can't say for sure if this product is really increasing my collagen and elastin, especially since I am using other strong actives and beauty devices (LED, microcurrent etc). However, I do really like the resulting texture after application.

This is a gel-based moisturiser that comes in a 30ml jar. The formula is very interesting with the addition of Neodermyl - a combination of muthylglucoside phosphate, proline, lysine and also copper, marketed as being able to increase the production of collagen and elastin in skin. The reduction in collagen and production is the cause of loss of firmness and elasticity in aging skin. The formula also contains ginseng (antioxidant) and centella asiatica (soothing) extracts, and cermaide 3. The jar comes with a small spatula and the contents are a gel that also contains these pink balls that you need to massage into your skin to dissolve. I found the balls a bit fiddly because some of them end up on my fingers instead of my face when I spread the product (I'm too impatient to use the spatula but I always wash my hands before applying skincare). I'm not sure if the pearls serve any functional purpose. When mixed together, it becomes like a sort of gel-cream texture. The gel-cream itself is very pleasant - it's hydrating, slightly cooling in summer and doesn't just evaporate and disappear. There is some fragrance but it's not overpowering. What I do love about this product is that it keeps my face hydrated and doesn't just disappear after getting absorbed. There is almost a sleeping mask-like quality to it. I can use it under sunscreen (no pilling) in the morning, over tretinoin at night. I found that it works really well with my Medicube Age-R Booster pro device, as it gives my skin surface a lovely slip so that the device glides over my skin and doesn't tug, and it lasts for the minutes needed for the treatment. Since I'm using other strong actives and beauty devices, I can't credit this product for any improvement in terms of firmness and elasticity, but I'd consider repurchasing for the pleasant texture alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feels nice but seems gimmicky I received this in a Priceline skincare bag. This is a nice hydrating gel moisturiser that has little pearls in it. It came with a little spatula applicator with it, but I admit I misplaced it. I find the little capsules will fall off when you're applying the product if you're not careful. The packaging is heavy and lux but also deceptive as it is the same size as some 50g moisturisers I have. I have been using this for a while and did not notice any anti-aging benefits for my skin, but it is quite hydrating. I like that it is Australian made but I would probably not repurchase it.

Dr LeWinn’s is owned by McPherson’s who also own a number of other well known brands. They are Australian owned and made but I do not know if they test on animals or not. I wasn’t sure at first if this is supposed to be a serum or a moisturizer, initially I used it as a serum with spf sunscreen on top but reading a few reviews it seems I should use it on top of my serum. Today I used a serum first on half of my face and I can’t really see a great difference. The contents of the pot are not as much as you’d think on first inspection however of course it does contain what it says. If you look at the base of the pot I’d say the bit that contains the gel is about 60-70% of the total diameter. It comes with a nice little metal spatula that I will keep for other products after I’ve finished this. This is possibly the weirdest looking product I've put on my face – it is a pale pink gel containing opaque globules. Caviar or frog spawn come to mind! However, these little blobs dissolve into your skin straight away leaving your skin feeling soft and hydrated. I haven’t seen any long term benefit yet but I do think my skin has looked better while using this. It has a slight pleasant smell and you don’t need a lot although I’ve been using it quite generously. Had I paid for this myself I would have used it more sparingly as it is not cheap. If this is in your budget I would definitely recommend giving it a try My moisturizer stash is currently too big to necessitate buying more soon but I will try to remember to consider it when I do next need some.

It's full of tiny pearls, like a jar of caviar, which is a fun gimmick. The pearls dissolve in your hand and the resulting texture is absolutely perfect, a light gel cream. The only thing I don't love is that this product has quite a strong scent, although it doesn't linger on the skin. It sinks in so well and is perfect for at night, after any active products like retinol. It doesn't leave ant marks on my pillow which I like. I have normal to oily skin and use a retinal before bed and this is the perfect last step of my routine. It's not greasy and hydrates after the retinal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective and easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to receive the Dr Lewinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel during the 2023 Best in Beauty Awards session and enjoyed trialling it. I found this product to be a very effective moisturizer and is really easy to apply. The product comes with a small spatula like applicator which you can use to scoop up these small hydrating granules. You can then easily apply these to your face and gently squash them to apply the product. I found this product complimented my serums nicely, and my skin felt super hydrated in the morning. The packaging of this product is great, and the only thing I didn't like about it was the scent, but this is really nit picking, as it didn't smell bad, it just had a light cheap moisturiser scent. Overall, I would purchase this product again and recommend it to others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun to use This gel has pearls submerged in the gel like base. After applying onto the skin , pearls need to be squished and melted into the skin with the gel. Took me a bit to get used to it. Metallic looking applicator is heavy (silver porcelain like), not one of those plastic spoons. My skin does get hydrated after using this gel. Most I need from creams is hydration and plumping of the skin. I do use acids for exfoliation and on occasions retinol products. So this gel is so good to bring a bounce back to the skin and not coat it into heavy formula. Packaging does look luxe a bit and formula has no scent. Aussie made.

This is a rather unique moisturiser. It comes in a very stylish jar with a little spatula to scoop out contents and keep them pure. The contents are little pink baubles of gel, which feels very soothing and hydrating at the same time. I've been using mine through a very hot Perth summer and love the feel of the product. It's hydrating, but light, and a little definitely goes a long way. I definitely prefer this lovely gel texture to my usual, richer product. I've taken off a star due to the strong scent of the product - while it's very pleasant, I personally prefer my moisturiser to not be too fragranced. But that's the only downside, I can't fault anything else!

It looks very luxurious and fancy. I always get nervous I'm going to drop glass jars and break them. I prefer a sturdy plastic. The product itself was different to what I expected. The little caviar type balls were strange. But the product did apply smoothly to my face. I experienced plumpness in my face since using this product. I would recommend this product to family and friends as it lived up to its expectations.

Dr. Lewinn's is a well-known brand for affordability, but still containing potent, effective and active ingredients in its formulations. Upon opening the jar, I was surprised to see the product was capsulated in caviar form. Having not yet used a product in this form, I was intrigued on whether the product would be more effective in this form or just for appearances. Practicality wise, it was fun to use, but at times felt the need to crush/pop the caviar pearls to avoid them from falling. The product felt silky and luxurious upon application and encouraged me to massage the product in. My skin did look and feel great after immediate application, but by the next morning, it felt like the product was just sitting on my skin because my face felt dry. Though this may just be my experience, but it did discourage me to use it a couple nights as I enjoy waking up with plump, glow and hydrated skin. Personally, I have never used any Dr. Lewinn's products, so it was a great opportunity to trail the product as a member of the Review Crew. Overall, really enjoyed the luxury feel of the packaging, gel and caviar, but personally, was a bit disappointed about how my skin feels in the morning and the slight inconvenience with the caviars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but I don't like how it applies I have been using the Dr. LeWinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel for the past 4 weeks and although I like how it makes my skin look and feel I don't particularly like how it applies. I find the Collagen pearls too big and awkward to massage into the skin on my face directly as they don't melt easily when they make contact with my face and they just stick to my fingers or move around my face without melting. I find them a little bit difficult so sometimes I press them into the palm of my hand before applying as I find this easier even though I know that's not what your meant to do.  I use my finger to get the product out of the container as I don't like having to clean the spatula after each use and there is no where to store it.  The gel takes a few minutes to absorb once on my skin so I like to let it "dry" before applying my next product. It leaves me skin looking luminous and hydrated immediately after applying and my skin also feels and looks more plump than it did before. It doesn't leave any residue nor does it feel tacky. I also like how it is fragrance free.

At very least, it was a treat to feel like I was using something so luxurious. Moving past the packaging, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone with skin on the oilier side, the pearls when you crush them, let out this thick, rich, collagen gel that took a long time to sink into my skin. The directions say to use twice a day but I feel like it would be too much for my skin - once a day at night is more than enough. My skin does look so much plumper and healthier, my pores are less visible and I feel like my fine lines are disappearing!

It is the first time I have tried Dr LeWinn's products, and I was blown away by this pluming gel. I am 35, and my skin is in good condition. However, I have a few lines here and there, and upon putting this gel on my skin, it instantly blurs/fills out my imperfections. I've been using it for four weeks every night, and my skin has never felt so plump, juicy and smooth. I have taken away one star as I haven't seen any long term effects yet (but it is early days!). Safe to say, I will be using this gel to the very end. I honestly cannot recommend it enough for anyone with dry and combination skin type - it's just a burst of hydration.

Upon applying the product the little beads squash and blend well. The formula is soft, and non greasy, with a very light smell. It went on well onto my face and covers really well. So far my skin feels softer and smoother, lines have decreased and it is nice to have on as it doesn't feel overwhelming, thick it absorbs well. can definitely see a difference and will keep using until the last bit in the bottle. It is a great product.

Here are my thoughts: PACKAGING: The Plumping Gel comes in a glass jar with a silver lid. It has a metallic red-ombre effect on the main body of jar with white writing and the jar is low-set and sturdy giving it a luxe look to me. It comes with a rounded-edge silver spatula for scooping out the product which is a nice touch, giving the product an exclusive feel as well as keeping the gel more sanitary. PRODUCT: The gel is somewhat surprising to look at when you first remove the lid. It consists of pale pink "caviar" gel balls or "plumping pearls" to be exact that nevertheless are easy to scoop out with the spatula. The scent is familiar somehow but I can't say where I know it from -: but it is a light, vaguely floral scent and unobtrusive. The pearls do kind of move around on your skin for a few moments before melting so some care in application is required. They do absorb well into the skin, leaving a little trace of fragrance after they dissolve and don't feel oily or heavy. PERFORMANCE: I've had the plumping gel for a few weeks now and I have been happy with its performance. It really does make my skin soft, hydrated and "plumped" with a subtle, healthy-looking glow. It has been gentle on my sensitive skin also. Overall, I'm impressed with this plumping gel -: it's great for dry, aging skin in particular and is gentle enough to be used both day and night as a hydrating moisurizer with a luxurious feel. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but 'caviar' is difficult to apply [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the effect of this product after 1 month's use. After you scoop out some of the caviar-like gel, you rub onto your face until the balls melt and absorb. Immediately my skin feels silky and hydrated. Initially it looks oily but after a short while absorbs further and I just look glowing. After only a few days of use, I noticed that my skin was looking smoother and tighter. After a month of use, I can definitively say that my face looks different - my pores are more refined, and this is the first time I've said this: my face looks younger!! The reason I couldn't rate 5 stars was that I found the form of the gel very annoying - some of the caviar balls would fall off my face while trying to rub them in, they were difficult to rub in, and I felt that some of the product got wasted. I feel like this aspect of the product is a gimick and I'd prefer a regular gel that I could just rub straight in.

This is a luxurious gel and is great for night use too! My skin was positively glowing after just a few days of use and it is fantastic to use on the neck and decolletage areas. ** Visible softens fine lines and even my heavier frown lines. ** It's basically a super-charged moisturiser, having a pleasant and yet non irritating scent. Great if you are an allergy sufferer!! Soft, refreshing and hydrating at the same time! Unfortunately a little too pricey for me though but lovely to be able to receive it as a tester in the event it is reduced substantially somewhere :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luxurious product at a reasonable price! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the Dr. Lewinns Ultra R4 Collegen surge plumping gel. I have heard of Dr Lewinns before but have never tried their products until now. This product comes in nice luxurious packaging with a little silver spoon to scoop out the Caviar like gel. I used this in the morning and evening after cleansing. At first I found it a bit tricky getting the little balls onto my skin but once it emulsifies it turns into a smooth thick consistency on the face. You only need a small amount, to do the face and décolletage. It also has a nice fragrance but is not too strong. Since using this product for a month, morning and evening, approx 4 times a week I have noticed plumping in my skin with improvement in fine lines. I would continue to use it and I would recommend this product.

When I first opened the lid, it contained light pink caviar-like collagen capsules. I initially thought it was very fancy. It also came with a silver-like mini teaspoon. It has a very pleasant subtle smell. When applying the product, my skin felt moist and damp but after few minutes it dried up and my skin felt smooth to touch. After using it for about a week, I could already tell the difference where my skin felt tighter, plumper and smoother. My face didn't feel dry at all especially during a hot dry weather. It felt hydrated and healthier. Although, the caviar-like capsule made it fancy, it also made it annoying to scoop and apply on my face and neck. I would be happy to recommend this product and purchase it for myself.

I’m heading like a steam roller to my 40’s and I know that my skin needs all the tlc I can give it. Pros: my skin feels more hydrated and smoother. I love the little application spatula, so I’m not contaminating the product by using my fingers. The little pearls are soft and delicate to apply. Con: only one and that’s how hard it was to get the inner seal off. It’s been a great addition to my morning routine.

Love the little spoon so easy to use and get the right amount of product with each application. The gel is light and not too oily or heavy which is great for every day use. I noticed my face was smoother and the fine lines reduced whilst I was using this gel. The "plump" was visible after application of the gel. Really look forward to including this gel in my beauty routine as a go to. Highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but I don't like how it applies [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Dr. LeWinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel for the past 4 weeks and although I like how it makes my skin look and feel I don't particularly like how it applies. I find the Collagen pearls too big and awkward to massage into the skin on my face directly as they don't melt easily when they make contact with my face and they just stick to my fingers or move around my face without melting. I find them a little bit difficult so sometimes I press them into the palm of my hand before applying as I find this easier even though I know that's not what your meant to do.  I use my finger to get the product out of the container as I don't like having to clean the spatula after each use and there is no where to store it.  The gel takes a few minutes to absorb once on my skin so I like to let it "dry" before applying my next product. It leaves me skin looking luminous and hydrated immediately after applying and my skin also feels and looks more plump than it did before. It doesn't leave any residue nor does it feel tacky. I also like how it is fragrance free.
