Directions

Cleanse face thoroughly with the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Follow with application of the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum
To finish, apply the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturising Lotion liberally to the face and neck at night, or as directed by a physician. If applying in the morning, follow with CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF 15


Note: Unlock the pump for first time use by twisting it to the left and pressing down several times until the product comes out. You may actually have to press down on the pump as many as 10-20 times to initially begin dispensing lotion.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable and effective I've heard many positive reviews for this moisturiser from a number of international beauty bloggers and have found that Cerave has a great rep overseas for providing great skincare at an affordable price. I usually tend to spend a fair bit more on moisturisers but thought I'd give this one a try and I'm so glad I did as it's amazingly moisturising for my normal skin (which can lean dry at times) with a thin consistency that absorbs easily. It sits well on top of my serums and has great ingredients like ceramides, niacinimade and hyaluronic acid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic, but high quality and great price! This is a good quality facial moisturiser for general hydration concerns. I have only given it a four start rating as this product will not provide anti-aging benefits and does not contain any antioxidants to help prevent damage caused by UV and pollution. However, in terms of helping to maintain hydrated and healthy skin, this is a great product. The hyaluronic acid is highly effective at maintain hydration levels and the ceramides help to strengthen the skin barrier over time. Despite being called a lotion it kind of has the consistency/texture of a thicker serum (halfway between a serum and a gel?) It is non-greasy and sinks in well, sits nicely under makeup/sunscreen and plumps skin beautifully (which creates a nice base for makeup application). I use this in the morning to complement my richer moisturiser at night - I have normal to dry skin so need something with oils/butters to deal with both dryness (loss of oil) and dehydration (loss of water). I imagine that this could be a good choice for people with an oily skin type. It also has a really efficient pump applicator which helps improve hygiene levels - as you don't have to dip into it. Overall, this is a good quality product for a terrific price.

I was not disappointed! My skin feels fresher, dewier and well nourished overnight. Even after 8 hrs with my head on the pillow I still have a nice glow when I wake up. I did find it hard to distinguish between the AM and the PM moisturisers because the label on the packaging has such small font but all up a solid night cream. Would recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extra Gentle and Effective I love this lotion. I purchased it from iHerb in the USA several times before it became available here. I have only given this product 4 out of 5 stars because the American packaging is better and holds twice the quantity. Also you only have to buy $29 Australian from iHerb to get free postage on this item from the USA but you have to purchase $50 to get free postage inside Australia!! It also only takes about 10 days to get here from the USA which is almost as fast as the Australian postage. All that aside the product is incredible. Light in texture but very hydrating due to the high quality ingredients like Ceramides, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid. Absorbs well and is not even slightly greasy. There are no annoying fragrances or irritating ingredients either so you get the quality product you expect to get from this brand. CeraVe is an amazing brand and I love many of their products and look forward to them expanding their range in our country so I don't have to keep purchasing from the USA.

However I'm on the fence due to the different ingredient formulation sold here in Australia, the ceramides appear further down the list. It is because of this wonderful ingredient that I buy this product, I guess I'll see how this compares after a month of use.

Stings torn skin slightly (like all products) but overall it is quite gentle. Not ultra hydrating or long lasting like oil based products. I find I need a coat after my nighttime shower and again before I go to bed but still wake up with a dry face.

However, the packaging is terrible. The pump fails when the tube is only half empty and you have to cut it open and transfer it to a jar. Really disappointed that they would do this to such a great product.

It might be good for using in summer, humid weather or for people with oily skin. I don’t feel it have much of the hydration I needed. I will be trying their cream version to see if it make a difference.

The 50ml bottle lasted less than 6 weeks and was only as effective as a drop of the <$10 Niacinamide from The Ordinary in some of the Cerave Daily Moisturising Lotion. The latter is a much cheaper combination long term and one I'll be sticking to in the future.

But it just didn’t do much for me. I do recommend using this a bit more like a serum under a more creamy occlusive moisturiser though.

It had a great feel when I tested it on my hand and I was sure this was going to be a great match for my skin. Unfortunately, after a few days of trying it I found my skin to be really dry. I often found myself breaking out into a sweat on my face because the moisturiser wasn't penetrating my skin and just sitting on top. My skin reached a point of such dehydration that it was red and blotchy, at which point I ceased using the product.
