Directions

Cleanse face thoroughly with the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Follow with application of the CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum
To finish, apply the CeraVe PM Facial Moisturising Lotion liberally to the face and neck at night, or as directed by a physician. If applying in the morning, follow with CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF 15


Note: Unlock the pump for first time use by twisting it to the left and pressing down several times until the product comes out. You may actually have to press down on the pump as many as 10-20 times to initially begin dispensing lotion.

I could use safely on my face, including eye area without stinging. Having said that, I will return to my normal morning moisturiser after I have finished the product.

I use the PM version during the day as I like to apply separate sunscreen so I don't bother buying AM version. During the day, it does not leave my skin dry but hydrated. It's great for sensitive skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD MOISTURISING LOTION - CERAVE OWNED BY L'OREAL This is fairly good moisturising lotion with a generous amount of Ceramides in the correct ratio. This product has been available in the U.S for years, yet Australia is only JUST getting this brand, we don't have the complete line-up here unfortunately which is a shame. FYI most of the CeraVe Australian formulas are not the same or do not match the formulas of the U.S, many tweaks have been made and CeraVe really ought to make this clear to their customers. Also this brand is owned by L'Oreal Paris just so you are aware. Up until this product became available in Australia the only option on the market was the expensive Ceramide Capsules from Elizabeth Arden, which now and then you can also buy at Chemist Warehouse funnily enough. The product moisturises well and replenishes dry skin well. However Australians pay far too much for our skincare and cosmetic goods so a lowering in price would make it more affordable for everyday people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing!! So hydrating I am currently using this moisturiser at the moment it’s so good a little goes a long way it leaves the hydration in ur skin all day. It’s fairly good for the price you pay I would compare this to some of the higher end brands I’ve tried some of the higher end moisturisers like the tatcha silk canvas and I still prefer this lotion over most higher end moisturisers. This is also a really good product for prepping the skin for makeup this will lock the hydration into your skin all day and it’s super compatible with all water based primers and foundations etc. i love how affordable cera ve is it’s also so accessible, not to bulky or hard to Bring with you in a small makeup bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice texture and safe for sensitive skin I am a big fan of Cerave products and have been using their cleansers and the daily moisturising lotion for a while. Most of Cerave's products can be used on the face or body, but they made two moisturisers specifically for the face, one for AM with SPF and one for PM. This is the PM one. It comes in a 52ml tube. The main difference between this PM face formula and the generic daily moisturising lotion is that it has the addition of niacinamde as the 4th ingredient in the ingredients list. It also contains 3 types of ceramides and sodium hyaluronate like the normal moisturising lotion. Texture-wise, I find it a bit lighter and absorbs quicker. On the days where my skin felt a bit irritated, this was soothing and comfortable. Even though it is light, my skin still feels hydrated overnight and there is no dryness in the morning. For reference, I have combination skin that's currently a bit dehydrated. There is nothing wrong with this product and it is safe for everyone, including those with sensitive or irritated skin. I just feel that besides the niacinamide, it's not a huge improvement over the normal moisturising lotion, but the price is $22/52ml tube and that's a huge jump from the moisturising lotion which is $15/236ml. If you already have niacinamide in your other products or use a niacinamide serum and you're ok with the texture of the daily moisturising lotion, you don't need this.

There is actually nothing in the PM lotion that stops you from using it in the morning as well, as long as you layer sunscreen on top. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and hydrating The CeraVe facial moisturising PM lotion is the kind of moisturiser that works for me because it's lightweight, non comedogenic and gives my skin just the right amount of hydration. It contains three different types of ceramides which helps with the skin barrier. Since I've been using lots of harsh products on my skin because of my blemishes I have been trying to focus on my skin barrier a lot more. I have found that using more gentle products has actually helped my skin far more than other products that I have used. The lotion contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate my skin and keep it plump and the lotion itself doesn't feel oily/greasy which is a must if I'm going to be using a product continuously. I use it on my face and neck before I go to bed and by morning my skin feels softer.

I've used a few Cerave products before and I'm a fan of the lotion. This is the PM moisturiser, it comes in a bottle with a small pump. I use it as a face moisturiser, it says PM, but I use it in the morning too. The cream itself is off-white, slightly transparent, it's not a balm but more of a lotion consistency, lighter than a cream. It's slightly more viscous and thicker than the Cerave lotion. It feels very hydrating and glides on your skin. I like the inclusion of niacinamide which is the main reason why I wanted to use it. So far, it feels like it plumps up my skin. If you have very dry skin, I think you would need more layers in your skincare, like serum, lotion, and this would be great at night. It would work well with normal to oily skin. My skin is on the drier side, but I like it as I use other steps like essence and serum, and a majority of my skin is 'normal'. The only downside for me is that the product is so small and I wish it contained more product, a bigger size would push me into repurchasing. It's smaller than the US version which is a disappointing.

However my husband says it smells like pee and now I can't help but notice a slightly musky smell every time I put it on. Otherwise it would be perfect, love that it has niacinamide and hyaluronic acid so I don't have to use a separate serum.

I have been using this for nearly a whole year with no complaints or issues. It’s got really good, non problematic ingredients which is super awesome! My only problem is that you can only get it from Chemist Warehouse

I have dry skin but it gets worse seasonally and this product works very well for me from autumn, summer and spring but isn’t enough hydration for winter. It’s a great product, very light and calming. A little product goes a long way and I buy the bigger version of this product now which lasts me a couple months. Its great to layer under sunscreen as its so light. I would recommend this to people with dry skin like me.

The tube is compact and great for travel and it’s fine to use for a few weeks in warm weather, but it’s not enough for my dry skin in winter and definitely not moisturising enough at night. I like the soothing, non-irritating qualities of cerave pm and the fact that it is fragrance free and contains hyaluronic acid, ceramides and niacinamide. It makes a good base under my make up during the day and it feels light, comfortable and non-sticky, but i need something more heavy duty than this light lotion.

This tube/ pump is awful. So much waste unless you want to cut the end of the tube off to get the last TWENTY PERCENT out. Terrible.

While I generally use the Cerave Moisturising Lotion, I do love the Facial PM Lotion because of the addition of Niacinimide which has numerous skin care benefits. I love the PM lotion for travel because it is a smaller container but still great value and very effective.

It comes in a easy to use pump bottle which delivers the perfect amount- I only need two to three pumps for my whole face and neck. This lotion has no fragrance and is so gentle and refreshing on the skin. Definitely feels soothing and hydrating on instant application. Spreads beautifully and absorbs well. It has beautiful ingredients that are beneficial for the skin- ceramides and hyaluronic acid - my skin looks and feels hydrated. The added niniacimide in this gives me a great daily dose of the beneficial brightening ingredient which I love without major irritation. This is perfect to use every night over my serums too as it feels occlusive and soothing. Skin looks so deeply hydrated and soft after I use this. Will continue to buy and 100% recommend. Its just a great all around occlusive moisturiser.
