Directions

Use the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for oily skin as the first step in your skin care routine. This oil free cleanser can also be used as a full body wash.
Rinse face or body with lukewarm water and massage the cleanser onto your skin in a gentle, circular motion.
Wash off the cleanser from face and body
For best results, follow with application of the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 15 in the morning and PM Facial Moisturising Lotion in the evening.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a great no-frills unscented cleanser I am very conscious about using fragranced skincare, especially in things like cleansers since there are so many options on the market. I really enjoy using this cleanser. It's simple, no-frills, and that's just what I need. Nothing unnecessary that will irritate your skin, and the foam feels very nice on my skin. I would say it is ever-so-slightly drying, mainly because it foams so easily, but I always make sure to moisturise straight away. I also need the smallest amount to wash my face, so feel like the bottle would last for a very long time. It's a pump bottle which makes it so easy to use, and also has ceramides and niacinamide which is great for your skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HG Cleanser I was so excited when CeraVe was released in Australia. This was the first product from their range that I purchased and have been using it ever since. It’s the perfect foaming cleanser. It cleanses my face without stripping it dry. I have never felt that dry, tight, shiny skin feeling after using it like with so many other cleansers. Nice thick gel consistency without fragrance. Lathers nicely but is not soapy. I hope they never discontinue this. Really good all round cleanser. I do prefer this as my second cleanse at night as it doesn’t remove heavy makeup. Nice packaging with pump dispenser in 236ml and 473ml. A staple skin cleanser for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unscented, no nasty chemicals. Despite having mature skin, I still like a foaming cleanser in the shower and CeraVe is my go to product now. It hasn't dried my skin at all and leaves it feeling clean and fresh. Very convenient to have the pump pack within easy reach and not have to worry about a product causing irritation. For winter I will probably switch to the hydrating cleanser but for warmer humid weather this suits my skin just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fragrance free, non-harsh foaming cleanser. I've been meaning to try this brand for a while and I'm so glad that it's finally available to purchase here. It's been a few weeks since I have been using Cerave's Foaming Cleanser and I can say that it has become a staple in my skincare routine. The cleanser comes in a simple bottle with a pump that isn't flimsy and it's easy to control how much product comes out. The cleanser itself is a clear gel, but it foams up when it comes into contact with water. I usually wash my face with water first and then lather up the cleanser in my hands and then cleanse my face. I feel like this works well this way, but I've also just used the gel on my face and it's lathered up well too. I love that this cleanser foams up but it's not excessive and the formula is gentle. My skin is oilier in the summer, but it tends to be normal-to-dry right now, but I still prefer to use this, I just don't use a huge amount. It doesn't dry out my skin at all. I feel like my skin definitely has improved and I like that Cerave is fragrance free and has ceramides. My skin doesn't feel parched after use. I use this in the morning and to remove minimal makeup. I prefer to use something else to remove makeup first and not just rely on foam cleanser. Definitely repurchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my staple cleansers for face and body I have combination dry skin with some texture and love the Cerave range. This is among my first purchases from the brand and I have repurchased this 5 times now. I have this in all my bathrooms and more. My dry skin just loves Cerave especially this cleanser. My daily cleanser is really the Hydrating Cleanser, but this is for when I miss the suds and foam. It is still mild, cleanses my face, and doesn’t strip my skin down after washing. This has replaced all my Cetaphil products as Cerave has counterparts for all of Cetaphil products and more. I love the ceramides, HA and the niacinamide in the range.

I feel like it helps keep oil to a minimum during the day also. Ive been switching between hydrating and foaming cleansers depending on the weather. Love cerave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a really great, basic foaming cleanser! I love the CeraVe foaming cleanser. I've always been a foaming cleanser girl, as I've always had more oily skin. This cleanser is everything you'd need in a foaming cleanser. It's not super drying, it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh but not tight or dry at all. It's a nice basic gel texture which foams upon application, and is fragrance free so is great for those with sensitivities! I love the sizes that these cleansers come in. I got the biggest one and it has lasted me forever! I can't recommend it enough for someone who needs a basic but good cleanser.

Usually foaming cleansers are quite stripping but this one doesn’t do that as my skin doesn’t feel tight after using it. No strong scent and perfect to use am and pm. Would recommend for anyone with oily, acne prone skin.

Most foaming cleansers tend to dry my skin but like QV foaming cleanser, this CeraVe cleanser doesn’t compromise my skin barrier function. That said, I use this on specific areas of my face targeting my T-Zone as this cleanser is especially good for oily skin. The gel texture is just lovely and foams nicely; I love using it with my recently acquired FOREO LUNA 2. Compared to other cleansers, I love that it has added ceramides and hyaluronic acid. In terms if value, you can’t go wrong; it is very reasonably priced and little bit goes a very long way. I love the pump bottle. I will definitely repurchase and also recommend this to friends and family.

The texture is a nice consistency, not runny, and emulsifies nicely to create a workable cleanser. I use it AM and PM and find it doesn’t strip the skin of moisture. It is loaded with good skincare ingredients and it won’t irritate the skin. This range is amazing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Foaming cleanser This cleanser has a lot of fabulous reviews and is highly hyped up. For me this cleanser is fine. It does what it says. I really like the fact that it is fragrance free so non irritating. I prefer less fragrance. I also like the pump packaging. One easy pump and it's the perfect amount. I found due to this the product lasts forever and forever. Container is white so can't see how much is left but you can get the idea by lifting it up, however there isn't much idea on when it's empty. Cleanser foams up. It feels very gentle on the skin and seems to cleanse my skin reasonably well. I don't find it removes makeup very well so only a morning or 2nd cleanse. It leaves skin quite balanced, without stripping or drying out. I do find it leaves my skin a little bit more hydrated than expected as its an oily skin cleanser. Overall irs a decent cleanser and my favourite from the ceravae range, however I like other cleansers better and I find it a bit boring. Good for sensitive oily skin.

I have combination skin, someone my skin can be sensitive too. This product did not irritate nor was harsh on my skin at all. It cleansed my skin nicely, left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I felt as if it did not strip any moisture out of my skin too! The only down side from this product was that it did not “foam”. I had tried making this product foam whilst agitating it between my hands before applying it to my face and Even tried agitating on my face. It did not work I would say this is like a thick body wash like consistency I would buy this product again.

I like the pump bottle and the cleanser turned into a great foam to use on my face/chest/back. Using after a long day or exercising, it left my skin feeling clean. With acne prone skin, I felt like there were minimal new pimples popping up since using (2 weeks). I could use this product for AM and PM and did not leave my skin too dry. This is a good cleanser for the price point. I would continue using this foam cleanser in my skincare routine.

The CeraVe foaming cleanser is a great affordable option for your basic everyday face wash for normal to oily skin with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and 3 essential ceramides. My dry winter skin didn't feel tight or stripped after using this and I didn't find myself loading on the moisturiser after using which is a different experience to some foaming cleansers I have used in the past. Only downfall is it takes a bit of extra work to take of eye make up which is why it gets 4 stars not 5.

There’s plenty of product in the bottle - I use about half a pump and I find that’s more than enough for each wash. It foams up nicely and makes my skin feel clean afterwards with no issues of irritation despite my skin being somewhat sensitive. It also does a great job at removing makeup. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because although my skin feels clean after, I feel don’t feel a noticeable improvement in my skin. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good solid everyday cleanser.

My skin has been extremely dry and sensitive during the colder months and this has helped restore hydration in my skin. I have tried almost every cleanser by CeraVe and my personal favourite is the Blemish Control Cleanser. I would compare the two and say they are quite similar consistency wise but for my acne-prone skin, the blemish control range just provides that extra cleanliness and exfoliation that my skin needs, especially after a long day of sweating from exercise or wearing a full face of makeup. I will continue to use this cleanser as a gentle cleanser in the AM, and definitely would say it's suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin, especially if you have drier skin!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging made it nice and easy to dispense the product, although a little goes a long way so I eventually figured out how much I actually needed to dispense. Unlike other foaming cleansers I've used, when it is dispensed, it is still a liquid consistency and you need to rub it in between your hands for it to foam up. The first time I used it, I applied it straight to my face and it felt very thick, slightly greasy and was difficult to foam up, so make sure you foam it up first before applying it to your face. I liked how natural and simple this product (like CeraVe products in general) are, as it didn't have any nasty chemicals like sulphates or parabens. It also doesn't have any scent to it, so it's great for everyone who prefers their skincare fragrance free. I did find that it was effective at cleansing my face of oiliness and greasiness after a long day and it didn't feel harsh at all or cause any sensitivity to my skin.

It has still not removed all my makeup. Therefore I would recommend cleaning with an oil or balm prior - if you’re taking off the days makeup. Other than that, it’s gentle and light foamy and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily, tight or dry. I would recommend to combo and oily skin like mine. I would re purchase this one. But I’m conjunction with the CeraVe Oil Cleanser for a seamless makeup removal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CeraVe Foaming cleanser i have used this to wash my face for a while i dont know if i was the only one that thought it would come out all foamy well it doesnt u have to scrub ur hands together for it to be bubbly thats not to bad though i think its good but u should definetly wash it off with cold water bc this mixed with hot water makes ur face all sticky. it is good however to use to wash all your makeup off after makeup remover because it makes ur skin feel very i healthy i do reccomend having a serum type skin care routine after use of this product tho.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for combination skin I have combination skin and often use the cetaphil foaming cleanser but find i need a 'thicker' product for my second cleanse just to really clean my skin. I had read many reviews about these products and how great they were for all different skin types so thought i might as well give it a go! I have been using this for 3 weeks now and it's been great. The cleanser is a gel but emulsifies quite easily when water is applied. I find this cleanser isn't drying like others i've used but still is effective enough to wash off the day. I find this particularly great for when i need to remove makeup.
