Directions

Wet skin with lukewarm water
Massage the cleanser into skin in a gentle, circular motion
Rinse and gently pat skin dry.

I have dehydrated skin and I find this product leaves my skin feeling hydrated after use whilst not leaving it feeling tight or dry. I find that it doesn't make my skin oilier either. I wash my face both in the morning and night and still do not find this product drying. It also works well if you use this to double cleanse. I use the first cleanse to take off my make up and I find that it does it well. I think this is a great everyday cleanser and can't wait to see what else CereVe brings out!

I followed the recommended regime for product application, you will notice this cleanser does not foam. My skin is feeling softer and alot more moisturized and hydrated after applying this morning and night for the last few weeks. I have no more dry patches, and the redness and tight skin has gone. I appreciated that this cleanser is fragrance free and didn't irritate my skin at all, and the consistency is light and not to thick and nor is it sticky at all. It was very refreshing and soothing on the skin too.

Won’t remove super heavy duty makeup but you should always use another remover anyway. Perfect for/when using retinol, acne prescription medication and cream. Fragrance free and hydrating. Wish I found this sooner- and they sold in NZ so have to order online from other places:

A touch of eight hour cream and I'm set for the day. Seriously will never use anything again especially at this price. Red dry patches gone, soothing.

I’m not the biggest fan of cleansers that don’t foam because I feel like I’m not cleaning my face as well when it doesn’t foam but it seems to be doing the job as my face has never been so clear and soft. Will be getting the foaming version of this once I finish this bottle.

I like the shape of the container and pump style - it's sits nicely in my shower. I use one pump as a first cleanse and two pumps if I have makeup and sunscreen to remove. There is no tightness, no fragrance and no tingling - it simply cleans your face quite well. Those with a lot of makeup or sunscreen might need another cleanse, I personally use this as part of a double cleanse and am happy with it. I love that my face doesn't got red when I use this and it's the perfect base for a foaming cleanser up next! or a single cleanse on a clean face in the morning.

This hydrating cleanser has been so popular on beauty forums and it's wonderful that it's easily available in Australia now. It is a fragrance-free non-foaming gel cleanser that comes in a pump bottle, the formula contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid for maintaining the health of the skin barrier and hydration. For reference, I have combination skin, so I alternate between this hydrating cleanser and the foaming one (for normal to oily skin) depending on how my skin feels. One pump is enough for my whole face, and it cleanses well without stripping or drying, leaving skin soft. It doesn't sting my eyes and doesn't irritate at all even when my skin is a little sensitive. Now that I've tried it for myself, I can see why this is such a popular product that has so many glowing reviews. It is effective yet gentle and reasonably priced.

Cerave products have been developed with dermatologists and and is suitable for ezcema-prone skin as approved by the Eczema Association of Australasia. Cerave have a few cleansers, and this one is marketed for normal to dry skin. It is s is a non-foaming gel cleanser that comes in a pump bottle for easy dispensation. It contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid for maintaining the health of the skin barrier and hydration. It is fragrance-free. One pump is enough for my whole face, and it cleanses well without stripping or drying, leaving skin soft. It doesn't sting my eyes. I have combination skin and I alternate between this and their foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin depending on my skin condition. In the morning, my face can be a bit oily and I prefer the foaming version; but when I've had to wash my face again mid-day (e.g. after exercise), I prefer this as it prevents my skin from drying out from frequent washing. It doesn't irritate at all even when my skin is a little sensitive. I can see why this is such a popular product that has so many glowing reviews. It is one of the best on the market. It's also very reasonably priced with three different sizes to choose from at Chemist warehouse.
