Rated 4 out of 5 by from To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the other Garnier micellar waters - I didn't enjoy the feel that they left on my skin. So when I was asked to test this out, I didn't have high expectations. But this micellar water - I really enjoyed! As someone with dryer/sensitive skin - the addition of the oil let my skin feeling not only clean, but also still will hydrated without irritating it. I didn't receive any eye irritation when trying, though I am not a contact wearer - so keep that in mind. I enjoyed the scent of the oil as well - made it feel a bit fancy.\n\nI haven't been anywhere lately with hardcore face/eye make up so I haven't tested out that extreme, but the general day to day dirt/grime/spf/daily makeup - it did a great job. \n\nWould definitely recommend and buy again - especially with the great Garnier price point. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective and economical I received the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for delicate eyes and skin as a part of the trial team. I was happy to join this trial as I am always looking for new sensitive skin products to add to my daily routine and this is definitely going to be one of those. I first used the micellar water to remove eyeliner and mascara, which is usually my first test for a makeup removers performance. It worked pretty well, removing all the mascara and almost all the eyeliner (except the eyeliner that was right in the top lash-line. I also liked that the micellar water just for daily cleaning of my skin, even when I'm not wearing any makeup. I think that some people may not like the scent, even though it isn't bad, but it is quite strong. The best part about the micellar water is that the price of each use is so much lower, even when taking into consideration the cotton pads, than makeup wipes. The 400mL bottle of micellar water ($14) has 200 uses, which is a total of $0.09 per use, whereas similar products in makeup wipes can range from around $0.28 - $0.76 per wipe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really liked the pink normal version of this product that’s why I was keen to try this one out. The product itself worked well, it took off makeup perhaps a bit more efficiently than the micellar water alone, however the two problems I had was the fact I need to shake it vigorously to get the oil and water layer to mix every time I change cotton pad, which ends up being a lot more effort than anticipated. The other thing is that it definitely leaves a greasy residue and you need to wash your face with something else after to get rid of that feeling. So if I needed to do that, it really isn’t as convenient as this product advertises itself to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product has left my face feeling so fresh and hydrated. Really loving the subtle scent that is also left over. It's easy to use with a cotton pad and gets all the make up right off. It feels weird on the skin to begin with but then once it's dried it feels fab. Would continue to buy this! Also on the plus side I've had no reactions to it and I have very sensative skin. Even had a few compliments about how great my skin is looking since trialling this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really good product that smells AMAZING. I cannot describe how good it smells but trust me you'll love it. \nIn terms of doing its job, it really is a decent micellar water if you're into that. I haven't used micellar water in some time and this definitely held up to my usual cleansing oils, partly because of the oil component of it. It also took off my foundation really well and needed a bit of help with mascara but I do layer it on thick. \nAnother great thing about this is that it was not as harsh and drying as other micellar solutions, and the oil made it glide on easily without any pulling or rubbing of the skin. \n\nThe reason I'm not giving it 5 stars though, is double. First off, for a delicate and eye area product, it stung my eyes. Secondly, I had to rinse it off because the residue was starting to tingle. This isn't a problem as I take my makeup off before my shower, but beware and be near a sink. \n\nOverall, it's not a bad product and you do get a HUGE quantity for a reasonable price. I would recommend it if you're used to cream cleansers but looking to change, if you like luxurious scents in your skincare routine or if you're after a micellar water that is a bit smoother and softer. Just remember to keep your eyes shut, and rinse! \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product was nice to remove makeup. I have dry skin and when I first tried Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water I knew right away this was the one for me. I think with the oil infused makes a big difference because the makeup comes off with just one stroke and leaving behind a soft smooth skin that feels like it was hydrated and cleansed at the same time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Removes and cleanses my makeup quick and easy Tried out the latest micellar cleansing water by Garnier the other day to see whether it could help to remove my makeup without any hassles. One thing I noticed about this particular product is that it contained the oil part which I guess helps to remove stubborn eye make up such as mascara or eyeliner. I used a cotton pad to soak in the Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil and then looked to apply this all over my eyes (mascara, eyeliner) and amazingly my makeup was removed without any hard rubbing or tugging. My makeup was removed effortlessly and I was left with clean and smooth looking skin. I then used another clean cotton pad to remove the rest of my makeup on my face which included thick foundation, blush, bronzer and lipstick - which all came off effortlessly and easily. This product doesn't leave you with a greasy or oily feeling which is ideal when it comes to cleansing oils.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for regular makeup This works pretty well for an affordable makeup remover. It removes regular makeup very well, but I still need to wipe a bit to remove water proof mascara. I have also noticed that the oil sticks to parts of the face, so I am not sure if it is going on the cotton round unevenly, or separating too quickly in the bottle, so it doesn't go all over the cotton round. Either way, parts of my face are left oily, while others are not. One other thing to note is that it burns my eyes, which isn't pleasant when you are removing water proof mascara. Other than those few points, I do like it, but I would rather just use a cleansing oil or balm in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job but has a strong smell I bought a bottle of this on sale at chemist warehouse and I'm glad I bought it for cheap. I would not repurchase this and will happily stick with their regular micellar water in the future because this particular product has a strong fragrance. It reminds me of bar soap. I will continue to use this product because it does not irritate my skin, and also gets off all of my make up. I just cant stand the smell! Another thing I don't like is that the bottle claims that you don't need to rinse your skin after, but the product leaves an oily feeling. This doesn't bother me too much because I always wash my face after removing make up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little too oily for me - but does the job well The product does the job in removing makeup quite effortlessly, however my face does feel oily after I use it. Although it claims 'non-greasy - no rinse off' I still had to rinse because of the oily residue left on my face. The oil and water components separate in the bottle so the directions are to shake before use to mix it all together, however both elements separate so quickly that I am always shaking it so I can get equal parts of oil and water - this may also be why my face felt so oily afterwards because the oils come out first. Also I'm not a big fan of the bottle - I would have preferred a pump or spray because the water/oil came out so quickly I feel like there is a lot of wastage and I would go through a bottle quite quickly. With all that being said it did remove my makeup quickly and easily. I've got sensitive skin and there was no reaction at all which means it is gentle. PLUS there was no negative reactions in my eyes when I was working to remove my eye makeup - no stinging or irritation in the eye which is really common when working with these type of products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but leaves greasy residue I use micellar water on a daily basis to take off my makeup before I go to bed at night. Garnier's product is of good quality. It takes off all my make up quite easily, although it was a bit more stubborn when it came to my mascara. I use it by getting a cotton pad and soaking it in a generous amount of micellar water. I then use this to clean off my foundation and eye make up. It's gentle on the skin and eyes and I didn't have to rub too hard to get my make up off. The only thing I didn't quite like about this product was that it left my skin feeling very greasy. Not everybody minds that feeling but I dislike it so I found myself having to rinse my face with water every time I used it, which became a bit tedious. However, if you don't mind the feeling of greasy skin then this product is a pretty good choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle yet effective I quite enjoyed using this micellar water as part of the trial team. I wear quite a decent amount of makeup for work so I like to ensure I have the right products to thoroughly remove and cleanse my skin. I have used micellar waters in the past however I have never really stuck to a particular brand as I find I always end up using my facial cleanser or cleansing oil afterwards. However since trialling this lovely micellar water which features oil, I feel like I have everything in one!! I have a gentle, yet effective cleansing water with the added oil which I feel has really done a great job completely cleansing my face without stripping it of its natural oils. I do get some redness on my cheeks and chin however I am pleased to report that this micellar water has not affected my skin in terms of sensitivity which is a huge plus for me. My only complaint is that as this water includes oil, I find it leaves a bit of an oily residue on my skin and as this is a cleansing water, I shouldn’t have to feel like I want to further wipe anything off. I do love this completely as a makeup removing product, but as a cleanser, I might still stick to my current cleansing regime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good and affordable option I was fortunate to be included in this beautyheaven trial to review the new Garnier Micellar oil infused delicate cleansing water. In order to use it, you need to shake the product thoroughly to ensure the oil is mixed in well with the micellar water. Like the regular classic Garnier Micellar water to which I'm a fan, this micellar water comes in a plastic bottle with a small hole opening which allows you to pour the product into a cotton pad. I usually dispense the classic product into a different dispenser which means less wastage. I find the hole in this packaging releases too much product leaving the cotton pad to be overly soaked. But putting this product into a different dispenser will be difficult to do with this product as it will mean the oil might not be evenly distributed. As such, I used the product directly from the bottle The product promises to remove all make up easily including waterproof make up with ease and no need to rinse it off. I found this product still needed some elbow grease to rid of my mascara even though it is not waterproof. It didn't sting and removed my make up thoroughly taking about 4 cotton pads to remove all my make up. My skin felt comfortable afterwards though I always double cleanse and cleaned with a regular cleanser afterwards. This was ok but I didn't find this to be greatly different from the classic micellar water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really simple and effective at removing make up without rubbing too much. I found it really gentle on the skin even though it is highly fragranced (which I didn’t love for a sensitive skin product). It left my skin feeling super smooth but I did feel the need to rinse it off even though it suggests you don’t need to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great but too oily for me I trialled the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water-Delicate eyes and Skin as part of BH's trial team- thankyou BH for the experience! Unfortunately mine was damaged a bit in transit (cap cracked) and I lost some product but I had enough to give it a good and proper trial. You can see the oil clearly separated from the water itself and when you give the bottle a few turns it blends nicely I used Micellar water a few times before and never really got into it, I thought I’d rather stick to what I knew. I first tried it after a big night out and I had a huge face full of make up and I was amazed, it was all gone with no need to rub my skin raw. I was in love with everything but the oily feeling of my skin after, I figured it would soak in after a bit and all would be fine. Sadly it did not and for this reason alone I wont be adding this to my regular beauty rotation. I tried it every night from then on and my skin was incredibly oily after sadly (even when I used the smallest amount) The scent was very very subtle and was a nice touch, so many face products these days have huge amounts of chemical smells or terrible artificial ones

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle & effective but greasy I was very excited to be apart of the trial team to try the Garnier Micellar cleansing water delicate eyes and skin. The bottle is rather large and sturdy and you definitely get what you pay for in quantity. The lid of my bottle arrived broken so I lost a little product in transit and everytime I shook it up, it leaked a little but this might just be a one off issue. The pros for me were that I like to use oil to remove makeup a single find it cuts through makeup easier, and this is a shake up potion that mixes oil into the water. It removed all my makeup with a few wipes. It definitely very gently and it didn't iritate my eyes or skin at all. I also like that my skin felt very hydrated afterwards. The downside though is that the hydration comes from the greasy film that it leaves on your skin, which I didn't enjoy. I like my mositure to sink into my skin. I also didn't like how many makeup remover pads that I went through each time (3-4) and felt like such a waste and caused mess in my bathroom. I didn't love this product enough to replace my usual cleansing oil but it's a great alternative for those nights I'm feeling lazy and don't want to actually wet & wash my face.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's not as good as I wanted it to be!\nI was excited to trial this product as I have sensitive skin that can react to harsh cleansers and perfumes. I've used Micellar water before and used it as my only cleansing product (make-up remover and face cleanser in one). I found that if I left this one of the skin it gave me pimples! It left quite an oily residue that I didn't like and made my light moisturizer feel much too oily. \nIf you are using this as a makeup remover it is great and does the job, but I did need to rinse off which I didn't like (and I think not the purpose of the product too).\n
Date published: 2019-03-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from I found that the 2-part formula of this micellar water mixed quite quickly, and was delicately scented. It efficiently removed makeup with little effort, but I found I had to rub to completely remove my mascara. It left my under-eye region feeling raw. Nonetheless, it did not sting or dry out the rest of my face, and did not leave behind any residual oils. I would recommend this product for generally cleansing your face, but not for removing eye makeup.
Date published: 2019-03-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product is worked really well to remove makeup. I found that without much rubbing it removed the toughest products, even waterproof mascara. I absolutely loved the smell of it too. Initially when I noticed it had a fragrance, I got a little worried that it might be too strong. But after using it, it left a light smell behind that I actually enjoyed! It made me love the product more.\n\nI will say it was a tad oily initially, but it is an oil based micellar water, and it sort of disappeared after it dried. I wasn’t left with an oily residue. \nIt does separate quickly though, so you do have to shake it before you apply to your cotton pad each time.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This micellar water has great packaging and smells amazing.  The product effectively removes all traces of makeup with a few wipes across the skin. However, despite the oil included I found that it left my skin feeling quite dry and unclean as compared to some other micellar waters that don’t include oil.
Date published: 2019-03-12
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product does work, however I don’t think it works as well as the original Garnier Micellar water (normal to dry skin). So far no other micellar water I’ve tried has worked as well for me as the original, this one included. I don’t hate the scent of the delicate skin and eyes version but I think that it is quite strong and fragrant, so I think it may be an issue for those sensitive to scented products. I feel that the addition of oil actually hindered the performance as I found that it smeared my eye makeup everywhere and then I required another application to clean it up and take it off, whereas the original version only requires one cotton pad with the product on, to remove my mascara, without it smudging and spreading. Therefore I used more product, more cotton pads and I actually had to use more of the micellar water on the cotton pad than I normally would and I ended up with oily liquid in my eye, which didn’t sting but left me with blurry vision for a few minutes. The product did not irritate my skin or eyes at all. I do wear contact lenses and found that I had zero issues in regard to sensitivity. I probably won’t be continuing to purchase this product as I feel that the standard Garnier Micellar works the best for me, even though I have very dry and sensitive skin, it doesn’t effect my skin negatively.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've never used micellar water before so was super excited to try this one, the colour of the packaging and the product is so nice! must admit i was pleasantly surprised, it took all my makeup off with minimal effort which was lovely.\nthe only drawback is it does leave an oily residue on your face that i felt i needed to wash off with product\nbut overall works very well\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from At first glance the product is split heavily between a clear and blue solution - each and every time before use a solid shake the even distribute the product is required. Not a problem if you have time on your hands but if your routine is regularly interrupted by kids don’t forget to shake before every reapplication! The product spear well on my sensitive skin and gave me no reactions! It did a decent job of cleaning off make up and dirt, however personally I felt only very slightly oily after using so I would wash off the product residue with a cleanser. A great product to help remove the day but once or twice I forgot to shake so I need something ready to go straight away. I find the standard micellar water doesn’t affect my sensitive skin so I’ll give that a go again next time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Say goodbye to panda eyes I am a huge fan of micellar water so I was excited to try this product. The first thing I noticed with the product was the very cool blue oil that sits on top of the bottle, so make sure you shake well before using! the second thing was the beautiful smell. It was a fresh smell, it wasn’t too strong or overpowering, it was just the right amount of fragrance. It also didn’t irritate my eyes which is great. To give this product the ultimate test I first tried this product to take off some waterproof mascara, success!! Without having to apply too much pressure the mascara came off with ease! It didn’t sting my eyes or feel uncomfortable. The only negative to this product was I felt it left my skin feeling oily.. since I have oily skin, extra oil isn’t my best friend. I felt like I had to wash my face again after using to get rid of the oily feeling. So whilst I enjoyed the product I don’t think it would replace my every day cleanser, I would simply use it when I have waterproof make up on. The price point of garnier products is always a selling point and the ease of locations to buy the product is also a bonus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a fan of the other Garnier Micellar Waters and this is no exception... I really just didn't like the look of this when I got it and I didn't like the feel of it when I used it on my skin... I have sensitive skin and found it stung my eyes and made my skin feel really heavy and waxy... On the bottle it said no need to wash your face after use, but I found I needed to. Not for me, but great to try out...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm a big fan of your basic Garnier micellar waters, I use them on my face at least morning and night. The one thing I dislike about them, is that I find they struggle with your heavy duty make up items, like your water proof mascara and long wear foundations. I don't wear makeup often, so this isn't a huge issue for me, but when this trial came up I was excited to see how this product performed in comparison.\n\nThe verdict... it definitely works better than the originals in regards to makeup, however, I found this product did irritate my (overly sensitive) eyes. It is fine to use on my face, so I will continue to use it, but I wouldn't repurchase this product again - instead sticking with my standard Garnier micellar waters. This product seems to be great for a lot of the reviewers, but maybe just avoid if you have sensitive eyes that are prone to irritation.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really like this product! Definitely more delicate than the normal micellar water which I normally use. It even gets off my dark eye liner. Recommend using the face halo or cotton pads for the beat removal. It has a nice smell too which isn’t too over powering. S

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product unfortunately has not impressed me. As a person with sensitive combination skin I thought this micellar water would work a treat as it is meant to be delicate on the skin. Due to the sensitive nature of the product I think it may not be as strong to remove make up as effectively. Although it did leave my skin feeling refreshed, moisturised and clean, it did not remove my make up properly, especially mascara. I really gave this product my all trying as hard as I could to see how much mascara I could remove. I ended up getting so frustrated I reached for a make up wipe. I removed my mascara and also noticed that there was still some foundation still left on my skin. I think this product would be more suited for just a skin refresher rather than used as a make up remover. I personally will stick to Garniers All in 1 Micellar Water as it removes make up amazingly as well as refreshing the skin and cleaning it of dirt. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wasn’t too sure about this micellar water to be perfectly honest. For a product that claims not to cause any irritation in the eyes, I found that it stung my eyes if I used it to take my eye make up off. It could just be that my eyes are sensitive but I would stick to using this micellar water only in my face until the bottle is empty. I also found that it would leave an oily residue on my face after taking foundation etc off. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me but I definitely had to wash my face after using this rather than doing just a standard rinse off. Does the job in removing my makeup but probably wouldn’t repurchase due to the fact that it stings my eyes.
