No strong fragrance. This is not a cleanser to use as only cleanser if wearing makeup. As a second cleanse yes. Or only cleanser if not wearing makeup or heavy zinc sunscreens. I think as it does not disrupt skin's Ph, it leaves skin soft and normal after washing. Big amount of product in the tube, also good value. All I can notice while using it is that it is gentle, non stripping and a great basic cleanser. Does it exfoliate? Do not know. How to know this? My skin is smooth , but this also may be the case as I use skincare that may have been helping with this.

I am impressed with the smooth texture on my face after using at night, after I dab my face with a make up remover pad, with a bit of water applied. That alone would make this innovative product worth it. Thank you for being available to try out, from my recent attendance at BeautyHeaven's Best in Beauty Marketplace. It is a bit runny, yet ever so gentle on the face. Would I buy it after I have run out? I do not think so. Why? Because it does nothing to settle down a few spots of hormonal acne on the chin. It is a good face wash, in what is a saturated market. Still I am grateful for the opportunity to try it out, and if you are desiring a soft and gentle cleanser; then you have found what you are looking for on this page.

Thank you, Beauty Heaven, for the opportunity to trial this product. I have never used the Elucent brand before, so I was very keen to try something that I had not tried before this time. I generally use a separate exfoliator and cleanser so was keen to see what this combination product was like. The texture and smell of the product was good, not overpowering at all and very pleasant. It felt very nice on my skin as I applied it and rubbed it in, it left my skin feeling very clean and refreshed and seemed to have a nice glow to it.

I really enjoy an exfoliating cleanser and this one did not disappoint. I have fairly dry skin so used this product every second evening. It was really gentle on my skin yet at the same time exfoliated the skin and brightened its overall tone. It also left my skin feeling lovely and smooth and ready to absorb my night moisturiser (also by Elucent). At the end of the trial I was really pleased with the results and would happily recommend this product to family and friends.

I have now been using this exfoliating cleanser for a week and I do find that my skin feels softer after each use, as it must get rid of the dead skin cells and make up and grime, so I’m happy with that! I think this cleanser will last for quite a while but I’ll look for it on sale as Elucent products aren’t that cheap! I will keep using each night as it is a good cleanser.

Whilst this cleanser is much more gentle than expected, it's actually better for daily use. I love the clean feeling a face scrub provides but hesitant to use them everyday in fear that it will dry out my skin. This cleanser overcomes that as a great combination of gentle cleansing with a scrub-like feel. I use it every morning and night before my skincare routine and it works well to prepare my base for serums, moisturisers, oils etc. There's no odour which I prefer and at a great price point."

It was a perfect combination of exfoliation and cleansing and made my completion glow! My skin is naturally on the dry side and this definitely helped to clean it up a bit and made the skin feel moisturised and clean. It has a very subtle fragrance which is great as it's not overwhelming or strong. The only thing that would have made this product perfect was if it had a pump instead of a tube, as I find this is the easiest way to apply these types of products. Otherwise the cleanser itself is great and I will continue to be using this in my daily routine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Daily Exfoliating Cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elucent Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser with very tiny exfoliating beads is very gentle on the skin even when I just had an extraction facial done, my skin is not irritated. I believe it is not enough to cleanse at night time for days when I have a full face make up. Therefore, I prefer to use this in the morning daily to remove the night time skincare product applied on my face to prepare my skin for make up/ morning skincare routine. My night time routine consist of the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser and thus the brightening result is enhanced. It is soap free so it does not lather and it feels very creamy so the exfoliating cleanser does not cause the skin feeling dry and tight. I do have combination skin and my skin feels very clean and soft straight right after I use the cleanser. I am not confident to say that it has whiten my skin but it has definitely improved my skin tone and brighter looking skin.

I have tried many exfoliating cleansers and most have been very harsh on my mature skin. Since I have started using this cleanser I have discovered it is very gentle. It felt more like a creamy cleanser than exfoliating. I followed the directions and have been using morning and night. My skin feels so soft and clean. And even a little brighter too. It is not a heavy cleanser either. I can definitely recommend for my mature skin and will probably purchase in the future. The only cons I have are that it is a bit 'runny' and it didn't completely clean off all my makeup. Other than that it is a very good product.

It comes in a cardboard box with the typical elucent white and teal colors. The tube is easy to open with the flip lid. The cleanser is white in color it has a very mild fragrance only when you really look for it. The cleanser is very mild exfoliating and you can barely feel it on your skin. It does not irritate the skin and is great for everyday use. I have been using it for the last few days so its too early to say if the skin tone has been evened but would like to say that my skin feels hydrated and soft. My skin also felt smooth.

I have also tried Elucent's anti-ageing cleanser and loved it. This cleanser comes in a tube which I didn't like as it tends to be a little messy. I would have preferred the pump packaging for convenience. The face wash itself is beautiful and iridescent. Has a pleasant warm scent not at all overwhelming. Has the tiniest micro beads for gentle exfoliation which I quite enjoy! Gives a very nice clean to the face and my skin has been feeling brighter. I also find it very moisturising. I use it once a day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle Micro Beads I've been using this cleanser along with the Whitening Day Moisturiser and Night Moisturiser after receiving a pack from BH (thanks again BH) The cleanser is a thinnish white lotion. I found that it lathered up really well even without adding water. I don't think I'd taken in that this was an exfoliating cleanser and the micro beads took me by surprise a bit. These were really gentle which is good because I really don't like to over exfoliate as my skin can be sensitive I found that this cleanser didn't irritate my skin. It cleaned well without making my skin feel dry (and many foaming cleansers do). I like that it is soap free and gentle The smell was a light perfume which was pleasant and not overwhelming I don't know that this has helped with my pigmentation issues but when used with the otger two products I do think my skin looks healthier Overall I think this is a nice mild cleanser suitable for all skin types including dry skin.

The Exfoliating Cleanser, soap free comes in a small plastic squeeze tube with a screw on lid. A facial cleanser to purify and balance skin for an even skin tone. I have patch and uneven skin tone, that is tanned from to much sun in my youth. This particular exfoliator can be used daily, morning and night. Normally I exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week. It is white with a smooth flow consistency. Texture is light, creamy, smooth and grainy. Has a lovely aroma, nicely fragrant, The cleanser is applied to damp skin, massage in circular motion over face and neck. Produces a light creamy lather. Stimulating for skin, you can feel the minute particles rolling over skin, exfoliating skin with massage. The cleanser itself feels cool and refreshing. The cleanser is rinsed from skin with warm water. Leaves skin feeling clean and smooth. Does a great job of cleansing and exfoliating, removing built up oil and dead skin cells without being harsh and drying out skin. Brightens a little and gives skin a healthy appearance, its a good product.

I used this every night to remove my make up and not only did it remove it all but it made my skin brighter and smoother. It is a very thin and runny texture so be careful when squeezing the tube, otherwise it will go everywhere!! Also I really didn't like the fragrance, it was very overpowering. Overall I did like using this cleanser but i'm not sure whether I will purchase as it is quite pricey

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brighter skin. The first time of using the Elucent Whitening Exfoliating Cleanser my skin looked so refreshed and bright. I really liked this product, I've been using this product twice a week, in conjunction with the day and night moisturizer. Reason for not using it everyday is that I didn't want to whiten my skin, only to even my skin tone. I found that if I used it everyday it would make my skin alittle bit dry. The very small exfoliating, grainy beads wasn't harsh on my skin. Although the consistency is really runny, I had to be very careful when I squeezed the tube. My skin felt softer, smoother aswell as brighter and even. The fragrance for me was pleasant, I quite like masculine scents. I liked the packaging of the Elucent Whitening Set that I recieved from Bh and the bright pop of blue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle cleansing I've been using a few different whitening treatments lately, but this is the first whitening cleanser I've used. My skin is already quite fair so it didn't take long to notice a brightening effect when using this with the day moisturiser and night moisturiser from the same line. The milky fluid with it's tiny exfoliating beads provided ample cleansing effect without irritation - although due to my bi-weekly moisture mask use plus increased fluid intake, my skin is well hydrated at the moment. I wouldn't use this as my everyday cleanser for an extended period of time, but it will be something I can rotate into my skincare routine when my complexion is looking a bit dull.

It effectively cleaned my sensitive combination skin, with aggregating my redness or acne. The exfoliating particles are very small and gentle and it seemed to really brighten my skin. I can see how long term use it could possibly whiten skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle Whitening Cleanser With minimal-sized exfoliating grains, this cleanser leaves my skin slightly softer and feeling lovely and clean. After about two minutes of massaging this around my face, and rinsing it off, I find that my skin really does present with a whitened hue - just slightly but it is definitely noticeable to me. So if your desire is to have a whitened overall appearance from a cleanser then this is the product for you. It's very gentle and though I have skin of various types (ageing, dry, oily, pimple-prone, dehydrated) around my face, I find this delicate exfoliating cleanser is fine to use on all areas. It's easy to rinse off too. I've been using a trial tube and personally it doesn't stack up against my normal cleanser because I tend to not need a 'whitening' effect from my cleanser but if I was stuck using this because it was the last cleanser on the planet then I would have lovely cleansed skin and I do like that it has little exfoliating bits in it too - just to give it some oomph when I cleanse.

The sample was enough for at least three uses and I found the cleanser to be incredibly gentle for an exfoliating cleanser. As a cleanser, it felt as if it did an adequate job but didn't seem to foam up very much.

I'd have to say that I was really impressed with it on the whole. I liked the fact that it wasn't harsh or drying, gently exfoliated and is made in Australia. The fragrance was light and it didn't over-foam. I can't really comment on any whitening properties as I didn't use it for long enough, but I imagine it would be a great product to use with the rest of the Elucent whitening range. It's probably not something I'd repurchase because I don't like to spend quite this much on a cleanser, but I would recommend it highly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A tad drying I really wanted to love this range. Right now I'm all about protecting and enhancing my pale complexion, so this range did seem like it would suit my needs. I managed to get my hands on a trial pack which included this cleanser, so I was really excited to see what results it could bring. I suppose I saw it coming. Products that bear the claim “Suitable for all skin types” really can be hit and miss if you don't fit into the normal/dry to normal/oily spectrum. My skin is quite dry/dehydrated this time of year so it needs a little more nourishment than usual, and after using this product unfortunately my skin did feel a little tight. That aside, this product delivers in most other areas. It contains a cocktail of effective ingredients each contributing in its own way to create a brighter complexion, as well as an abundance of teeny tiny scrubbing particles that very gently slough off dead skin. It is easily rinsed off and leaves my skin looking brighter and feeling smoother. It does have a slightly runny texture as other reviewers have said, but this doesn't bother me too much. Given this is a cleanser, any tightness I feel is easily rectified by applying a good serum and moisturiser, so I am happy to continue using this until the bottle runs out. I have no doubt this range would deliver on what it promises, but sadly it just wasn't nourishing enough for my skin.

She raved about the results she got after using. However, no such luck for me, this is just your standard physical exfoliating cleanser. I don’t get the hype. I feel I’ve used heaps of similar products over the years, I won’t be buying again. There are more cost effective options on the market. The consistency is milky and runny, the exfoliating beads are small, it is non-oily/non-greasy. Suitable for all skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle exfoliant [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cleanser at BH's best in beauty event and liked the look of its bougie packaging and sound of ingredients like emblica fruit extract and vitamin b3. It is a very thin milky formula that lathers well in the hands but feels a bit thin on the face. I felt like I had to use more of the product to get a good cleanse (I have combination sensitive skin). For my sensitive skin side it was very nice and gentle and didn't irritate or over tighten my skin, however I wouldn't want to use it every day for fear of over exfoliation, no matter how gentle it is. For my combination skin side, I felt like it was a bit too thin of a consistency to truly feel like it gave me a through clean, however it made my skin feel so soft and nourished afterwards. I didn't see any major difference in my skin tone or texture, only slightly. Mixed feelings about this so I think it may suit more dry skin types.

I find this product a bit odd in terms of the whitening/brightening. My face is already fair so I can’t tell if it is whiter to be honest and can't say I noticed it looking much brighter either. I think this cleanser is average, it’s nice and gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft but I didn’t find much exfoliation in comparison to other exfoliants where you can feel the beads. My skin was soft & clean after using but not a cleanser I would use when wearing makeup as didn’t find it removed it all so would only use this on days I didn’t have something on my face.

The texture of this cleanser is nice. It has a slight gritty feel but nothing too grainy or harsh. It is quite runny though and the squeeze tube can cause more product to come out than what you actually need, which feels a bit wasteful. A pump bottle might be more suitable for this product. It lathers up nicely and leaves the skin feeling nice and clean. However I can't say I've noticed much of a difference if any, for it's claims of evening out your complexion. Considering the price point as well, in future, I don't see myself incorporating this as a permanent product in my skincare routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasant to use I found this product pleasant to use personally because I can't deal with strong fragrances, and this product is basically fragrance free unlike a lot of similar products. It's also very gentle which is perfect if you don't want a harsh exfoliant. I would say it's not as effective as other similarly priced products. However, the main strength of the product for me was that it was non-irritating (both in its exfoliating properties and in the lack of fragrance). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle exfoliant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cleanser in the best in beauty awards event. I had never heard of this brand prior. The cleanser has a creamy runny consistency and has a shimmer. I only used a tiny amount and it was very soapy and lathered really fast. The scents the same as the night time moisturiser which i don't like. It is a very gentle exfoliator. I couldn't really feel the exfoliating beads. I haven't used it long enough for me to notice any difference in my complexion and pigmentation. After using my face feels clean and tight and smooth.
