Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit too thick for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this moisturiser at BH's best in beauty event and was so excited to try a brand I'd never heard before. I loved the sound of vitamin b3 and promises to reduce pigmentation which is something that I'm focusing on right now in my skin care. The cream comes in a beautiful jar and is a thick consistency. I felt the cream to be a little too thick for my combination skin and sat on top of my skin for over an hour without feeling like it was truly sinking in. Leaving it overnight my skin felt softer and moisturised however traces of the product were still there. Over time I felt this was a nice product overall but not one I have seen any dramatic improvement in my pigmentation. Probably not worth the price in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good over Night hydration [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser at the beauty heaven best in beauty awards 2022. I have used the Elucent range before and do like the brand. This cream comes in a nice easy to use tub and the fragrance is very pleasant. The cream was very easy to apply and smoothed easily over my skin although it didn’t really absorb into my skin and kind of sat a little oily on it which is probably why it gave it a good hydration over night. This is definitely a night cream and can not be used as a day cream as it’s too heavy and oily. Even though it made by skin more hydrated it did not do anything for my pigmentation. I was really hoping it would help at least reduce my pigmentation a little but it did not do so, maybe over time it might, I’m still hopeful and will continue to use it and see.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good hydrator [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look, I was really hoping the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser would hold true to the many promises it made and maybe I just need to use it for longer, however, I really didn't see a decrease in the appearance of dark spots and discolouration as promised. I also don't think I experienced a more even skin tone or any real brightening of my skin. What I really liked about this face cream was the intense hydration I received. My very dry and weathered skin seemed to respond well and soaked up the ingredients. Besides the quick passing pungent smell of the cream, I loved the thickness of the cream on application which was quickly absorbed with no tacky after feel. In fact, my skin responded so well to the hydration effects I am currently wearing it as a day cream. I also find my tinted SPF moisturiser just glides over easily and sits nicely on top of this, no sip and slide for me. I would still only rate the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser at three stars for all the promises that I just did not see.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thick moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you beautyheaven for inviting me to the recent Best in Beauty event held in Sydney and for letting me trial this Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser. This is a thick heavy nighttime moisturiser that takes a little while to sink into the skin. It also has a slightly tacky feel. I find that the moisturiser has a strong scent that lingers for a while after applied. Like the matching exfoliating cleanser, the moisturiser also has niacinamide in it which is nice. I tend to have combination acne prone skin so I do not tend to like these heavier moisturisers like this one. I think this is better suited to dry skin types for the colder winter months

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely packaging, nice product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to thank Beautyheaven and Elucent for giving me the opportunity to try this product. I love a good night cream, and as I get to my mid 30’s the need for overnight replenishing is becoming real! I liked the packaging of this cream, the clean and crisp white and silver look great, and the jar itself does feel a bit luxe (to this budget babe!) The cream itself is a lovely texture, without any particularly strong scent, which is a plus for those that are scent-sensitive. It applied well to the skin, I used it after my night serum and it layered well without any pilling or need for excessive rubbing. It is not my new holy grail moisturiser, but it is nice and I would recommend it to anyone looking to dip their toes into the night cream game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from night moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle of this little 50gm night moisturiser is quite appealing. The packaging is great and the cream is thick and the cream smells fruity. I personally do not like the smell but have used the product a few times now and haven't seen any dramatic changes except for making my skin soft by a little bit. ' This bottle contains Emblica Fruit Extract, sunflower seed oil 7 Vitamins B3 and E. Both products of Elucent claim to reduce pigmentation on skin and that is the first time i have read that on a product after many years. I am going to try this product week on week to see if it does what it says so far i haven't found any such changes. Leave it overnight on your skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moisturising but no results yet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks BH for the chance to try this product. I have been using it for a couple of weeks with the exfoliating cleanser from the same line at night. I was interested in evening my skin tone from post acne scarring but find that most readily available skincare products aren’t effective or results take months to be seen. I found the moisturiser to be overall a good night moisturiser that’s hydrating and leaves the skin feeling soft in the morning however did not live up to all its claims. The ingredients list sure sounds impressive so I may need to finish the tub before I see results or use some of the other products in the line to see a significant difference. No complaints about the packaging, it feels weighty and elegant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moisturiser has a think mousse like consistency and a little goes a long way. There is a subtle floral smell from the jar but I can't notice it once it has been applied. The jar is very nice with a mirrored silver lid which I have used the reflection for. I have an oily t-zone and normal skin on the rest of my face. I haven't notice any difference in my skin tone since using this moisturiser but I did find it absorbed well into my skin. I think because it is on the heavier side it would be more suitable for winter. Nothing really stands out about this moisturiser other than its lid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thick Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for giving me the opportunity to review this product. I received this face cream at the Best of Beauty event. To preface this review, I have combination skin with an extremely oil t-zone. This cream comes in a jar and is very rich and moisturising, because of this it applies on the skin very thickly and quite greasy. This doesn't sink into the skin and leaves my skin feeling greasy. In terms of the even tone claim of this cream, the trail length wasn't long enough to see results to back up that claim. I would only recommend this if you have dry to normal skin as its too heavy for skin types that are oilier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating Night Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received to trial from the Best in Beauty Marketplace Event and have been using for 10 days only. I did like the packaging of the product – clear strong plastic base – you can see the cream with a silver screw cap – basic but effective and looks good. After cleansing at night, I applied the cream to the face and neck avoiding contact with the eyes. I use a spatula, not fingers. Cream is white and a heavy texture which I like in a night time moisturizer Does contain Parfum but the scent is very light and pleasant. I would wake the next morning with my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. However 10 days use was not enough time for me to notice any reduction in the appearance of dark spots/discoloration. Or any increase in skin elasticity or brighter skin tone or more even complexion but I will continue to use as it is a lovely night time cream but for the price tag, I’d hope and expect more results than simply being a lovely hydrating night cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser BIB Review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you very much to Beautyheaven and Elucent for providing the cleanser and night cream for trial and review at the Beautyheaven Best In Beauty 2022 Marketplace event. I previously trialled this night cream through Beautyheaven trial team a few years ago. At the time I trialled a few products together and did not like the range. This night cream was provided again when I attended the Best In Beauty Marketplace members' event. I gave it another go as my skin may have changed. I found that the texture of the cream is not the same as I remembered to be and it also looked different to that in my old pictures. The cream now looks visibly more yellow, and have a smoother, slightly creamier consistency. I think it actually applies better and easier. The cream is still thick, and suitable to use as a night cream. Strong artificial fragrance still present however does dissipate quickly. I do wake up with soft and supple skin. However in terms of lightening pigmentation it really didn't do anything in the 3 week period that I was given. The packaging is an oversized jar which is a lot of plastic and I would prefer it to be packaged a bit more practical. Overall a decent cream however not spectacular and not lived up to the even pigmentation claim in the short time we have been given to trial.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thick but hydrates [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got to try this as a product gifted from the Best In Beauty event in Sept 2022 and used it alongside the exfoliating cleanser received. It comes in a tub, but I prefer pump action creams personally as less messy and easier for storage. I think they could have also used a smaller tub. I’m still not sure about this cream it is very unusual. It is quite thick & has an odd smell. I found it didn’t absorb very quickly but the next morning my skin did feel hydrated and supple. As the trial was only for several weeks I can’t say I noticed a reduction in the appearance of dark spots or skin tone & elasticity, but time will tell. I will continue using but so far not quite sold just yet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the thickness texture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying Elucent even tone night moisturiser for 3 weeks, I can feel the difference it does to my skin. In the beginning I was feeling a tingling sensation but after few days I haven’t experienced any tingling. I think my skin has adapted to the formula. Love the thickness cream and also the jar. It looks luxurious yet very economical size. Just one dab os enough for the whole face. Not like some famous brand face night cream that’s mostly quite watery. I will keep continuing using this product until finish, to get more benefit from the vitamin C and E, hoping it will reduce my skin pigmentation slightly. Thank you Beautyheaven for this product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pleasant but not worth the price point I found the moisturiser to have a nice, light consistency which I appreciate. I also like that it doesn't have a strong fragrance, which can be very difficult to find in products these days. The main issue for me is that I don't find it to be very powerful or effective at all, compared to other products I use at the same or a lower price point. I would expect it to be significantly less expensive than it is, because it doesn't really do much - it certainly doesn't really 'even' out my skin at all - it just acts as a very basic level moisturiser.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Skin feels smoother [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent even tone night moisturiser at the best in beauty market place event 2022. I have tried this brand before and I do really like a this brand. I have pigmentation on both my cheeks and was really hoping this cream would help invading it away. Unfortunately it didn’t have any effect on my pigmentation although it did help hydrated my skin and lock in moisture. I felt my skin become much smoother in time too. It comes in a nice jar and the cream has a nice light fragrant and smoothes on easily over the face. It had a greasy texture and took a while to absorb in but eventually does absorb in. It’s definitely a night cream and you cannot use it in the day as it’s too greasy. If it faded my pigmentation even the slightest bit I definitely would’ve given it a 5 star

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A night cream to persevere with [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly,THANK YOU BH for allowing me to be on the Best in Beauty Marketplace trial team. Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser is a rich textured, gel / cream formula that is designed to help alleviate the most ageing issue in skin next to lines and wrinkles...dark spots. The ingredients deck is full of skin loving ingredients (vit c for brightening, vit e for moisture etc),and it felt lovely on the skin (a little rich for summertime, but perfect for the colder weather...it leaves you feeling quite "dewy"),with a light, floral fragrance that was not too overpowering, but did i notice any difference after my trial ? Well,i only had about a week to try it,so i cannot say i noticed any real difference, but my skin did feel smoother, and i did see a bit more of a glow in the morning....but no real difference otherwise.I loved the hydration this moisturiser gave, and felt it was completely adequate as a stand alone night cream to treat multiple skin issues, but will have to continue to see if the brightening truly does occur over the next few weeks. Is it OK for all skintypes ? I didn't experience any irritation at all with this product however my skin is already very much used to actives and therefore tolerated this without issue...do a patch test first on your own skin. The jar was very neutral in appearance,so the man in your life would not be put off using it if he too wanted a little skincare boost, and the 50ml size was enough to get several weeks of nightly use from it (and at under $50,it is not too bad a price range to give it a try).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not on the list to buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser is nicely packaged, so looks great sitting out where it can be seen. It has a lovely light texture with a good amount of slip, making it go on easily and you don't need a lot of it to cover your face and neck. However the scent is very off-putting. It is definitely way too strong for me and not pleasant. It smells very much of chemicals, and even if I sniff the scent while it is in the jar, it makes my eyes water. The jar design is awful, while looking nice, it is a double walled construction, to make it look like a really large jar of cream, when it is a large jar with a lot less cream than expected. I didn't see any change with my pigmentation, but we really didn't get long enough to try, pigmentation is one of the hardest skin conditions to correct and takes a lot of time off you are not using laser.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still waiting for results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes in a see through jar that holds 50g of elucent even tone moisturiser. Was happy to see it contained vitamins C E and B3 making it quite natural ingredient wise. It was light and creamy in texture and actually glided across my skin beautifully after using in conjunction with the elucent even tone exfoliating cleanser. After a few seconds there was some tingling but it dissipated quite quickly. I made sure that I paid particular attention to my many dark spots and discolourations applying the cream liberally to these areas and although it is a nice moisturiser it has not reduced the appearance of these. Maybe that takes a while. Will continue to give it a go. Fingers crossed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Night Time Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thankyou to Beautyheaven and Elucent for asking me to try the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser from The Best In Beauty Trial Box. I've only been using it for about two weeks due to delivery delays and have not been able to test it for longer before the review due date. This comes boxed, in a clear acrylic tub with an inner tub housing the 50 grams of product and a twist off silver lid. It comes with a long expiry date which surprises me, manufactured in April 2020 and expires in April 2023 but I cannot see a discard after opening time frame. It has not been tested on animals BUT has no leaping bunny or similar symbols. It has a sealed for your protection foam peel off cover. The product is an off-white colour and looks and feels like a smooth paste. I've been using it at night time, after cleansing and serum. I don't need to apply a lot due to the paste like texture. I've had no irritation from using this product and I find that it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling sufficiently moisturised. I do not wake up with any dry skin feeling. I've had a slight increase in pimples but that could just be due to the change of product and my skin could well settle down after a couple more weeks of use. In regards to helping with pigmentation its too soon to tell. I am happy to continue to use it and happy to recommend it but only time will tell if I would purchase it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No effects other than hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this every night since the Best in Beauty event after cleansing and a retinol serum. My skin is mature, combination with no major issues, just the occasional blemish and too many wrinkles! The cream comes in a nice clear pot although it makes it look like you are getting more than you actually are. It is slightly off white with an almost mousse like look to it. It has a slight smell (it contains perfume) and I found it absorbs quite quickly without feeling too tacky or greasy. While my skin feels nice with the cream on I can’t say I’ve seen any big improvements, but maybe I just don’t have issues that are easy to see an effect on; I had hoped for some general overall improvement to my skin tone given its name. I usually stumble out of bed into the shower without looking in the mirror so I don’t know if I wake up looking wonderful but I certainly haven’t felt like my skin is dry so it is definitely hydrating it overnight. I shall persevere and hope for great things, or at least some overall good effects. I will enjoy using the rest of the pot but unless I do see some effect I wouldn’t buy it. I will recommend it as it might be useful for those who are looking to treat some skin issues eg discolouration.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn’t love it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would not be my go-to nighttime moisturiser because I just don’t find it hydrating enough. As soon as I put it on, I feel like I need another layer of hydration. That being said, it’s a very decent product. It contains B3, which is otherwise known as niacinamide and will improve the overall appearance of skin over time. I recently read an article with a skincare specialist who recommended if you want to simplify your skincare routine but still get great results, focus on the ABCs - vitamin A (retinol), vitamin B (niacinamide), and vitamin C. This moisturiser does tick the box for vitamin B, but I find it more suitable for daytime use than for nighttime and I just prefer to get my vitamin B from a serum rather than a cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this moisturiser - it’s quite thick but I found that it spread across the skin quite easily. If you’re not a fan of a moisturiser that stays a bit tacky, this one probably isn’t for you, but I don’t mind it as I tend to use this product at night, and am used to sleeping with oils or Korean sleeping packs as my last step. It felt nice and hydrating, and there doesn’t seem to be an added fragrance - just the scent of ingredients or some other clean scent. I think it’ll take more continued use to see results with this moisturiser, but my skin does look nice, bright, and moisturiser despite the fact that I’ve been stressed about exams lately.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn’t do much for me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this product to help with evening out my skin brighten its overall appearance and lighten acne scars. But I didn’t find this the case, I didn’t really see any improvements at all after using this. I used both the even tone cleanser and moisturiser at the same time. But wasn’t wowed by the results. The packaging itself is quite beautiful and feels very luxurious. A big negative I found was I didn’t like the smell although wears off after a couple of minutes. The consistency itself is quite rich and creamy which can feel a bit heavy and greasy on my skin. As a young person in my early 20s I prefer something much more lightweight. It takes a while to absorb into the skin which can feel a bit gross when trying to go to bed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not heavy enough for my liking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need a moisturiser that stands on its own feet. I don't need one that needs a top up or another brand of moisturiser half an hour later. It goes on beautifully and is a delight to smooth over my skin! It is a shame that my dry skin drinks it up so quickly. It isn't greasy and I will be using it on my neck, chest and hands as it sinks in quickly. It doesn't have actives and did not set off my sensitive skin. It has a little bit of a smell but it does not hang around. It doesn't lighten up pigmentation but to be fair I have only used it for a few weeks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good texture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I have acne/sensitive/dry skin (yes very troublesome skin type). From a sensitivity perspective, my skin wasn't reactive so that was a plus. From a dryness, it helped by providing more moisture. For an acne perspective, I didn't find it brightened or reduced colouration or provided an even complexion (or at least not yet). Overall, I'll keep using the product to see if it gives results over a longer period of time, but I don't think I'd repurchase. Scent and texture wise I liked how it went on and didn't have a super strong scent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Night Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you beautyheaven for choosing me to trial the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser that was at the Best In Beauty Marketplace Event & also in our Best In Beauty Trial Boxes for those of us that enjoyed the event virtually from interstate. After initially removing the security removable seal which I enjoy for freshness I have been using this moisturiser for the past two weeks at night after cleansing my skin. Medium in consistency and has a almost whipped like texture, creamy in colour I take a pea sized amount of the moisturiser and gently massage it into my face and add a little more to my fingertips for my neck. Although I enjoy massaging this into my skin I find it take quite a while to absorb into my skin some of it stays on the surface for quite a while. It has a mild scent which doesn’t linger once massaged into the skin. After my first use I woke up with a breakout on my jaw which tends to happen when a product is too rich for my skin so used it every second night for the two week period. I still continued to have a few more breakouts so thought about using it once or twice a week (I have combination skin) after the trial period to see if I can continue using this for any futher results. I was pleased regardless of the few breakouts that’s my skin was well moisturised and felt as if it appeared brighter. I am looking forward to using this further and would recommend this to those with dry to normal skin types and those that want to brighten their skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser came in a screw and remove lid type of tub and at first application did not have a heavy scent. However the cream itself is quite smooth and heavy and was hard to move around the skin to help it absorb - I normally pat my moisturisers into the skin to help absorption and this one seemed to take longer than others to sink in. I’ve had good experiences with other elucent products but unfortunately I didn’t see brightening of the skin from this product alone. The moisture it provides is OK but it does feel a bit odd and sticky if you apply too much and doesn’t sink into the skin well. Perhaps this one might be for those with drier skin types than my acne prone combo skin but still happy I got to try this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed reaction [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are things that I like and don't like about this moisturiser. I like the jar, the cream is light and absorbs really into my skin (as long as I regularly exfoliate). I don't think that the cream has visibly reduced my pigmentation and I don't enjoy the fragrance. I find it too strong and the smell ends up on my pillow slip. I think the cream does a good job of hydrating my skin and aside from the fragrance, I like the ingredients (especially that it doesn't have mineral oil). I would not buy this cream but I appreciate the opportunity to try it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Satisfactory Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. For starters, I do like the jar. It looks nice in my rotating skincare organizer and the screw top lid is easy to open and shut (sometimes screw on lids go crooked and it takes forever trying to line it up with the jar to get it sealed closed. Like the Elucent Exfoliating Cleanser, this too has a nice and pleasant subtle fragrance, which is good because I don't want anything too overpowering at night. I found it to have a nice light consistency and it did feel lovely going on. However a little goes a long way and it did take a fair while to absorb into my face. I found that the product pilled up, which didn't matter too much being a night time moisturiser, but it's just not a pleasant experience during my skincare routine to have product pilling and rubbing off. My skin tone does look more even after using this (in conjunction with the Elucent Exfoliating Cleanser) but this is not something I'll buy once it runs out.
