Rated 3 out of 5 by from light night cream This night is light and not heavy on your skin that helps you be comfortable to sleep, has good ingredients that helps you to lighten your skin...so far so good but haven't seen any whitening yet on my skin and this night cream is quite pricey,so thinking if I'm going to buy a full size bottle or look for cheaper whitening night cream.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great I have been using this for several weeks and I have found it to be a pretty decent moisturiser but not great. It is hydrating and has a clear, gel like consistency. When I put it on my skin, it felt a bit greasy and made my face look shiny and oily. It took awhile for it to absorb and I did not even use that much. In terms of brightness, I have seen a little bit of improvement. I did not see any lightening of pigmentation or marks on my face which was disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rich, heavy night cream - good for dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser comes packaged in a jar. This isn't my preferred packaging for hygiene reasons and convenience, however the jar is sturdy and the amount of product is generous. The night moisturiser has a thick consistency, and when applied to the skin, it does take a while to work it into the skin and absorb. While this is fine as it is a night time cream, it still felt heavy on the skin and noticeable. The cream contains extracts to help brighten the skin, however after a few weeks of use each night, I didn't notice a difference in red marks or dark spots. My skin was left feeling smooth and hydrated, however I did notice a couple of extra spots on my skin while trialling this cream. I think this moisturiser may be a little too heavy and rich for my oily/combination skin type.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Average Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Beauty Heaven to invite me to the Marketplace Event and be part of the Trial Team,. I was excited to receive this product along with the Even tone Cleanser to be able to pair it and use it as my Night routine. The packaging itself looks very high end and feels like its a more trusted and a more Natural and safe brand to use as its very easy on the eyes. The consistency of the product is very nice and light. I used it alongside with the cleanser as part of my night routine and found the product to be very oily. It is however light but not absorbing on the skin. I had to use it half an hour to an hour before I went to bed to ensure it absorbed well and its unfortunately not a thicker cream as most of the Night creams are. I used it for over 2 weeks and did not see any results unfortunately.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Elucent even tone night moisturiser BIB review [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to BH and Elucent for providing this night moisturiser and cleanser for trial and review at the Beautyheaven Best In Beauty 2022 Marketplace members event. This is the second time I trialled this night cream. The first trial was for a full set (except the cleanser) and I did not like the range. At the marketplace I was given another one and review is mandatory. This night cream is different to the one I tried, although ingredients look the same. This one is more yellow in colour, feels creamier, applies easier. Fragrance is artificial but dissipate quickly. Although I do not mind the application, in the 3 weeks there is no improvement in pigmentation or brightening effect. The jar packaging is also oversized and contains a lot of plastic. Overall it is not a bad moisturiser but not a stand out for me either.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Average Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Beauty Heaven for inviting me to the event and take part in the Trial team I was very pleased to receive this product which was paired with the Elucent Event Skin Tone Cleanser. The packaging of the product again looked like a very high end brand which gives you the feeling of a more natural and quality product. I paired this product with the Cleanser to be used at night as the description on the box says it has Lactic Acid, Vitamin B and Vitamin C which are all the ingredients which help your skin to tone and especially with Vitamin C and Lactic Acid in the cream will help improve uneven skin tone. Due to my ethnic background and uneven skin tone around my upper lips and mouth, I really wanted to see if this would produce the results as described. I used this cream at night after cleansing with the Elucent Even Skin tone Exfoliator cleanser twice and applied it after my toner. The consistency of the cream was great and felt like a mousse which is what is described on the box. However, I felt that it did not absorb well into my skin and would have preferred a heavier cream which absorbs well. So I really had to wait for a little while before going to bed as I felt it might still be on the surface. I would not recommend this product as I feel it did not work on my skin and made no difference

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thick and heavily scented [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to testing this product out, as I have scarring and hyperpigmentation on my face. The packaging feels luxurious and the feel of the cream is not bad upon first impressions. However, applied on the skin, the cream was too heavy for me. The cream also had quite an odd scent that I found to be quite overpowering and lingered for ages. I really wanted to give it a fair go, but unfortunately this cream did break me out so I stopped using it. I thought my skin might be experiencing purging, but it just never improved and felt quite inflamed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so looking forward to trying this night time moisture as i have dark spots and pigmentation. My first impression is i like the packaging. The texture is thick for a moisturiser and so once applied my face just felt greasy and uncomfortable. I felt like I wanted to wash it off. The smell, although not overly strong it is unpleasant for me. In the mourningly skin does feel soft and hydrated but unfortunately i can not stand the feel of it once first applied. I gave it a few trys but not enough to tell if it emend out my skin tone and reduced my dark pigmentation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lightweight night cream [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cream as part of the Best in Beauty trial team. It comes in a beautiful jar which gives it a luxurious feel and I do have some pigmentation left over from pregnancy so was keen to give this a try. Upon my first use I did notice that it wasn't as rice as what I usually use at night. Although I have combination skin it gets dehydrated quite easily so I like a super hydrating cream at night and have gotten used to that thick cream feel in the evening. Unfortunately after a few uses I have found that this cream just isn't hydrating enough for me. A little while after applying it I feel like I need to put more on. But it did sink in well and had a subtle scent which I didn't find overpowering. This cream would be more suited to someone looking for a lightweight night time moisturiser.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't confirm if it reduces pigmentation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser as part of the Best in Beauty event at Bh. The night cream is packaged in a sealed heavy plastic jar. The cream feels light and fluffy for a night cream. I applied this at night after cleansing with the Elucent Even Tone Exfoliating Cleanser. The cream does need to be worked into the skin to be absorbed. Unfortunately, after using this for a couple of nights, my skin started to feel tickly all over which was quite unpleasant so I stopped using the cream to prevent a more adverse reaction. For this reason, I can't confirm if it helps to reduce pigmentation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BH Event Trial [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this packaging and bottle, I do prefer pump skincare as it is more hygienic but I do like the feel of this. I originally used this 2 nights back to back and found this difficult to continue using so regularly. I felt like this didn't really sink and absorb into my skin well. I was hoping this would lead to supple skin in the morning but it didn't really work that way. I felt my skin was heavy and great. I actually had to wipe part of this off my face on the second night. I really did want to enjoy using this but it just want really right for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of a beauty trial, and I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I used this product after exfoliating and cleansing. It comes in an easy to use jar, that has a wide opening which makes it easy to get to the product. It has a light refreshing smell. I found that when I applied the product my skin felt greasy and heavy. It felt like I had smeared a mask all over my face, and then it didn't absorb very well. It just kind of sat on my skin and felt yuck. I noticed no improvement in my skin or tone at all. I just really didn't like the feel of this cream at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cloying Night Cream [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser as part of the Best In Beauty trial team. My skin can't tolerate a heavy cloying moisturiser and that is exactly what the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser is. It's not easily absorbed by my skin and my skin feels so sticky after application. I generally go for a lightweight cream for my combination to oily skin. It also has an unusual strong scent. I applied this after cleansing, toning, applying a serum and eye cream and it just makes my face so shiny and greasy. It takes so long to absorb and leaves my skin feeling like it can't breathe. I haven't noticed any improvements to my skin tone. Unfortunately this isn't for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Elucent Even Tone Night moisturiser at the Best in Beauty Marketplace event. I have used the anti-ageing products from this brand before but not the even tone range. I was surprised to find the formula quite thick and heavy. I found it thicker than the anti-ageing range. I only attempted to use for less than a week as I did not like the formula. It felt really heavy on the skin and left my skin feeling really tacky. I really wanted to like this as I love their other range. I think this is suited to someone who has really dry skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just OK [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for allowing me to attend the best if beauty event. I am addressing and I tried this nightly. I usually like a thicker cream as I'm dry but found this a little bit of putting. I didn't particularly like the scent and I found that this cream sat on my skin rather than absorbing. I had to put it on about an hour before bed otherwise I just filled it rubbed off on my pillow. The packaging is lovely clean it looks nice in the bathroom. I probably would not repurchase this and I think it's for a highly mature skin. He did soften and hydrate my skin I just found it took a lot of time I didn't see much difference in the pigmentation but I could continue for little longer and see how I go.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturise as part of the Best in Beauty Marketplace Event. It comes in nice packaging and like the jar has an easy to unscrew lid. It is a night moisturiser; it has a very nice consistency but has a fragrance that I did not find very pleasant. I used a small quantity of moisturiser at night each day after cleaning my face. I felt the moisturiser does not get absorbed easily into the skin, It felt very sticky and unsettling, even after changing the quantity of application did not help me. The skin definitely feels much hydrated the next day but the stickiness and the shine are not worth it for me. This product is not really for me. I have not used it enough to be able to comment on how it helps with the pigmentation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thick Night Moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to trial the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser as part of the Best in Beauty Event. I was grateful to trial this thick night moisturiser, I do not believe it changed the few small pigmentation spots, I have on my face. I would apply this thing, gluggy moisturiser after my serum. My skin does feel softer and looks dehydrated but nothing extraordinary. The big 50 gram jar will take me four to five months to use up. I like that the big plastic jar has a mirrored lid, so I’d you are not applying the moisturiser in the bathroom. Perhaps you are applying in bed, you can see that if all of your moisturiser is rubbed in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's a good product; yet the mousse like texture? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best results are achieved when you use this after using the accompany even tone exfoliating cleanser. I like the product, and I like the idea behind it; yet I am not sure about the mousse like texture. It can feel artificial, even though the manufacturer mentions that key skin nutrient vitamins like Vitamins C and E are included. As part of the trial team, from the Best in Beauty Marketplace; I made my pledge to give this product a red hot go, like I do with all products. It gives my skin a nice feeling, yet once again it is kind of useless for those with sensitive chin acne. I do not know for sure if the product is absorbing into my skin. Maybe time will tell, yet I would prefer to use some hemp body balm for results all round. That is just me. If you feel resonated to try this product; then I suggest you do, as it has been produced by a reputable brand nonetheless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very thick The Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser would have the thickest moisturiser I have ever used. To me it odly smells like a curry. I only need to use the smallest amount of this moisturiser because it's so thick and I warm it between my fingers before applying to kind of melt it down a bit. The consistency kind of reminds me of a tub of butter. It takes a little bit of time to absorb and if I touch my skin my fingers are all shiny. I've also noticed it makes my pillowcases a bit greasy. It does do a good job at hydrating my skin but it's just not right for me because it makes my skin look and feel too greasy. Not something I would recommend for combination skin. I can't use this nightly. It's something my skin can only tolerate once or twice a week.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn’t sink in well in the skin Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser comes in a elegantly packaged, boudoir-friendly pot. Fifty grams of cream are in a pot l, but a little goes a long way as it spreads easily. Unfortunately, even after massaging it in my face and neck for longer than what I usual do in my routine, the cream doesn’t seem to sink in and leaves a shiny and slightly greasy sheen. It doesn’t bother me that much because I put it on before sleeping and don’t expect anyone to notice my shiny face, but I always wonder how effective it would be if it doesn’t sink in, or if it rubs off on my sheets. The white cream is a bit overly floral scented for my taste and lingers. After a couple if days of nightly use, in conjunction with the SPF Day Cream and Dark Spot Corrector, I’ve noticed some tingling, redness and itchiness in my skin. I checked the ingredients and decided to stop my usual skin care products while trialling these products. I felt that the Vitamin C and Lactic Acid might be too much for my Salicylic Acid Cleanser, Retinol serum, and Vitamin C serum. My skin reactions subsided when I removed my usual skin routine. After a couple of weeks, I noticed an improvement in skin brightness and spots have lightened. My skin texture was not at par with when I was using my usual routine. Overall, this night cream was difficult to incorporate into my established routine and did not make me feel like giving up my evening retinol, especially in regards to my skin texture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for oily or younger skin I was lucky enough to be part of the trial team for this product. So I applied the night moisturiser every night on cleansed skin, over the even tone dark skin corrector. It has a nice fresh smell and the smell is not too overpowering, it also comes in a nice round tub. It’s quickly absorbed and doesn’t feel too heavy or oily. For me and my age do need a little more moisture and my skin felt a little dry on my cheeks so it would be nice if it was a bit thicker. I have quite bad pigmentation due to my background, hormones and age. I took photos of my skin before and after, and sadly there was no difference in my pigmentation from using the product. But as I said my pigmentation is quite bad so I think I need to use it a bit longer, maybe if I added some face oil to it the. I could get the moisture I need.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A good night cream, but no major brightening I have tried this as a part of the Trial Team with a few of the products from the range, so it can therefore be hard to say what is the results from the Even Tone Night Moisturiser, and what is from using it in combination with the other products. The Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser is a night-time moisturiser that promises to replenish moisture and reduce the appearance of dark spots and discolourations and brighten and even out the skin tone. The cream comes in a sleek clear and silver jar, and I actually find it to have a lighter consistency than the day cream, and I quite like that as often I find night creams too heavy for my skin. This is likely as it contains no SPF. It absorbs well into my skin, and without any greasiness or stickiness, with is great for my combination breakout prone skin. In the mornings, I feel my skin feels soft and clearly deeply moisturised, and therefore it also looks somewhat plumper and softer. As for the pigmentation, I have not really noticed any major difference, but the cream has possibly helped minimise the appearance of some dark recent post acne marks, and therefore make my skin look a little brighter - I appreciate that these things do take time, but as I had expected to see some results, so while this may be great at keeping the skin moisturised, it does in my opinion, fall a little short of its claims of brightening the skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me Firstly, thank you so much to Beautyheaven for giving me a chance to try the Elucent Range of products. I have used quite a few Ego brand products over the years, and have always found them to be very good. The packaging of the Elucent Even Tone Night moisturizer is just lovely and it looks nice on my table. The moisturizer itself is quite thick and white, but soaks in very well. However I did not much like the fragrance of the product, I found it a bit too heavy. After using the product every night for about a month, I have noticed no real difference to the pigmentation on my face, nor did it look any brighter. I also found that in the morning my skin did not feel hydrated at all - in fact it felt a bit dry and dull. I don't think I would purchase this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser | Strange texture but seems to make my skin soft and hydrated Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial the Elucent Even Tone range. The only good thing that comes out of the trial is that I know I will never waste my money on the Elucent range! I was given the day cream, spot corrector and the night cream to trial for 1 month. Specifically on the day cream - it is viscous cream that comes in a big plastic jar. The jar is oversize and it could have been made much smaller to save some bench or cupboard space. At first the cream feels really viscous (solid) - but it wasn't actually "dense", which is a very strange texture. I am not sure what causes this but I assume that it is from the big amount of silicone (2nd, 6th and 7th ingredients). The smell is subtle but very chemical-like. It does dissipate quickly so I didn't mind it much. Strangely, even though it feels so viscous, it absorbs very well into my skin overnight, and the next morning I would wake up with beautifully supple and hydrated skin. (Note - I always use a serum before the day cream or night cream). I used it religiously every night, in generous amounts, for 4 whole weeks. However, it did absolutely nothing to lighten pigmentation. I took a before and after picture for the purpose of the trial, and the only difference in the picture was that I have more blemishes in the AFTER picture. The products gave me white heads and pimples - a total of 18 in 4 weeks, whereas I usually have 1 or 2 spots every 4-8 weeks. I believe it was the day cream which caused the congestion as it was thick and greasy and made my skin itchy, but because the night cream was trialed at the same time, I could not possibly rule out the night cream. I was tossing up between 2 or 3 stars for this product. I could have gone with 3, but given that this product claims that it can "visibly reduce pigmentation" and while having tried the whole set of the products for the whole month I could not see any improvement whatsoever, it failed to do what it claims to do. One might say that 1 month is a bit short to see any effect on pigmentation. However, that's the time period officially given to the trial team and our reviews are referenced to this time period.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great ingredients but difficult to work with. For the purposes of this trial, I'm including the following information: Fitzpatrick skin phototype: IV, Light brown skin, Burns minimally, tans easily. Skin disorder: Melasma arising from pregnancy affecting cheeks and forehead. Facial skin condition: Tending towards dry and sensitive with T-zone prone to oiliness. I commenced the regimen by first cleansing with NeoStrata Resurface Foaming Glycolic Wash 20 Bionic/AHA then prepping with my dermaroller 0.25mm and hyaluronic acid serum. While not my favourite packaging, the Elucent Even Tone Night Cream comes presented in an elegant jar with a silver lid. For hygiene purposes, I would have preferred the cream come packaged in an airless pump or something similar. This night cream and my skin did not get along much. I’m used to night creams with a water base and this product didn’t have the slip that I’m used to. I normally have a pretty comprehensive nightly skincare regimen that I put on hold for the duration of the trial and to be honest, I couldn't wait to get back to my regular as the night cream left my skin quite thirsty. The cream left my skin a bit itchy and I wonder whether that was due to it containing a high percentage of niacinamide? I really wanted to love this range but alas, the range did not love me! I didn't notice any change in my hyperpigmentation. I won't be purchasing this in the future unless Ego decide to reformulate and improve their products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good night moisturiser but doesn't brighten your skin. I received this from BH together with the cleanser and day moisturiser. It has a creamy consistency and the scent is not as strong as the day moisturiser. It does made my skin soft and feels nice the next day but this one is greasy as well and made my skin shiny which I don't mind as it's a night moisturiser. It didn't brighten my complexion though which is a big disappointment. I'm giving it only a 2 as I had used the 3 products religiously until it's all finished but I was left with the same complexion I have before using the products!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me I was so excited to be trying this range as I do have pigmentation on my skin. I have tried many products over the years without any amazing results only slight improvements but I held high hopes for this brand. Sadly it failed to meet my needs or expectations. The packaging is lovely . It looks like a quality product and it’s very stylish. Unfortunately that’s where the positives ended for me. Despite using as per the directions every night it not only did not deliver the promised results but was very drying on my skin. I would think it might be ok on an oily skin but it was definitely not suited to my normal to dry skin. It was so drying that I had to stop using it and go back to my usual night time moisturiser to repair the damage. Unfortunately the product just did not deliver the promised results. It is not a cheap product in this chemist range and I would have been very disappointed if I had paid that kind of money. I wouldn’t recommend this product.
