Directions

1) Add the colouring cream to the developer and shake well to mix.

2) Apply the mix to your hair, starting from the roots then throughout the lengths and ends. Leave in hair for 30 mins.

3) Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Use the Caring Gentle pH Shampoo to remove any excess residue.

4) Apply a halzenut amount of the Lightweight Nourishing Mask. Leave in for 3 mins then rinse your hair. Use the mask once a week until your next colour for soft, shiny, lively hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't dyed my hair myself for about 3 or 4 years and since then, I have started getting a few grey hairs. I really like the addition of the gentle shampoo in the pack! I found that the gloves were a little awkward but the instructions were easy to follow and the product easy to use. I have quite thick hair so was glad that there was enough product to cover all my hair, even though I may have missed some bits as I noticed that there were still one or 2 visible greys when I had finished, but I think that was my application and not the product. I really love the colour - it's natural and blended in so well! The shampoo and conditioner smell wonderful. My hair is so soft and shiny after drying it. I will definitely use this again.

It's a wonderful product that gave me excellent grey coverage. It was easy to apply and didn't have an unpleasant odour when I was using it as some hair colourants have. I really liked the shampoo and mask to use after colouring as they left my hair feeling soft and nourished, which doesn't normally happen when I colour my hair. This colour is very close to my natural colour and has completely covered my greys. My hair looks and feels great and I would recommend this colour to anyone wanting a natural-looking brown.

Made it super easy to get all the fine hairs near my ears. The shampoo that you use after rinsing, OMG! I've waited forever for this to be a thing! It helps rinse away all the excess dye that doesn't want to rinse out on it's own, it smells amazing and feels great too. And the smell of the conditioner is just as good. Only complaint I have is the gloves. They were pretty useless. Dye went straight through them. Next time I'll use different ones. Overall I would definitely give this a 10/10 and I will use it again. I've been dying my hair all kinds of purples and blue black for years because I always though brown was too boring for me,but this has changed my mind.

I used L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme 5.0 to cover some of my couple grey hairs which were coming through. I built up the confidence to do the allergy test - which makes sense, but if you want to colour your hair on impulse, isn't somethng you would wait for. I tries using the part tool, the comb tool, but decided, I just liked using the gloves. I made sure I used a towel around my shoulders. I waited for the recommended time. Washed it out. I used the nourishing mask. My hair came out nicely with a slight red tinge - which I was ok with. My hair was not dry. The next wash, I used my normal shampoo and the nourishing mask again, my hair came out a bit dry and I had to use a serum. I would buy L'Oreal grey coverage again, as it was a fairly easy process and covered my random grey hairs. It was close enough to my natural hair colour.

I've always done a DIY hair colouring and I thought the instruction was straight forward and things are easy to use. I tested the colourant as requested before I coloured my hair. Love the 2 attachments provided, I used both as a combo (did my roots with the funnel looking attachment and the brush for the remainder of the hair). Left it for 30 minutes and rinse, shampoo and conditoner were then applied. My hair is black colour- and i thought post colouring, it would be more subtle. I am pleasantly surprised that it is quite nice (almost like a medium brown for me) and it stands out- totally dig it. I must say being a DIY, I'd need to concentrate on the medium to bottom, rather than roots to have even colour. Overall, totally recommend.

I’ve always found it silly that other companies never have one. My hair felt amazing after the dye treatment and following conditioner. I’ve found it worked fantastic on greys. It hasn’t lost any colour after multiple washes.

Inside a pack are 4 specialised products/ items; a colouring tube, a "developer" (which you mix the colouring into, & the product mixes with the liquid already in the developer tub), a post-colour shampoo & a hair mask. The instructions are very easy to read & guides you on the entire process with printed images, making the entire experience pretty much fool-proof. Once the product was in my hair, whilst waiting for 30mins for the colourant to take hold, I didn't experience any drips, or leakage onto the towel I had wrapped around my shoulders. Washed & dried, my hair was fully coloured, no previous hair colour in sight! The only negative experience I had, was that the "Natural Brown" colour I had chosen, was actually TOO dark - so dark in fact, that I do plan on going to the hairdressers for highlights...

Box had clear instructions along with a small shampoo & conditioner mask for after care. Although the smell of the colour was a tad bit stronger than other brands I have used it faded after a few minutes. I kept it for a little longer than the box says and saw good results. Recommend it and will buy again!

It covers my grey hair while hides my thinning spots on my scalp and generally leaves it in a very good condition. It is soft, smooth and easy manageable, especially after applying conditioner. As someone who prefers to color my hair at home, I always look for a product that provides reliable coverage, delivers true-to-tone color, and leaves my hair feeling nourished. The L'Oréal Paris Excellence Crème ticked all the boxes. The color result was impressive. The 5 Natural Brown shade was exactly as depicted on the packaging, and it complemented my skin tone beautifully. The coverage provided by the Excellence Crème was exceptional. It effectively covered my grays, leaving no trace behind.
