General Information

Colgate Sensitive Advanced Clean toothpaste provides 24/7 sensitivity protection*. Micro-foam is activated during brushing to get to hard to reach areas of the teeth, delivering a deep clean feeling.

Colgate® Sensitive Advanced Clean is specially developed for people with sensitive teeth to relieve tooth sensitivity with regular use. Micro-foam is activated during brushing to get to hard to reach areas of the teeth, delivering a deep clean feeling.

Where does sensitive tooth pain come from?
- As gums recede, parts of your teeth that aren't protected by enamel become uncovered.
- This leads to exposed dentine with thousands of microscopic pathways leading into the tooth's nerve centre.
- When teeth make contact with something hot, cold or sweet, sensations are carried directly to the nerves, causing painful tooth sensitivity

Contains active ingredients potassium nitrate and sodium fluoride. Also contains saccharin.

Ingredients

Glycerol, Water, Silicon Dioxide, Sorbitol, Potassium Nitrate, Macro of 600, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate Flavour, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, Carmellose Sodium, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Fluoride, Potassium Hydroxide, Pigment Blue 15 (CI 74160).

Active Ingredients: Potassium Nitrate 50mg/g, Sodium Fluoride 2.2mg/g.

Contains: Contains the equivalent of 1000ppm Fluoride. Contains Saccharin.

Directions

- Apply approximately 2.5cm strip of the product to a soft toothbrush.
- Brush for at least one minute. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth.
- Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water.
- Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional.

I have been using it for about a month and I am very happy with it and would buy Colgate Sensitive again.

I've recently had a tooth removed and suffered extreme sensitivity from the procedure and recovery process. To my surprise, this product really helped ease alot of the discomfort I had morningand night from cleaningmy teeth. I have tried other sensitive toothpastes in the past that were sensitive... but I never felt like my teeth/mouth were thoroughly cleaned. However, this one certainly did the job for both issues! Very impressive and I intend to buy again in the future.

I can now never imagine using any other toothpaste. This toothpaste provided so much relief to my sensitive gums and teeth and eased my pain and sensations after eating too cold, hot or spicy food. The toothpaste has natural taste and fragrance. I recommend this to everyone who even has a slight condition of sensitive teeth and gums and they can see the results in a short time as a week. It made sensitivity in my mouth so much better in using for less than two weeks.

I went to the dentist for a check up and clean after using it for a few days and what normally would have been a painful and uncomfortable experience was totally fine. No pain! I didn’t love the super foamy aspect of this toothpaste but it’s a small price to pay for the result.

This product actually seems to be working for me. I have noticeably less pain when trying to enjoy icecream and cold drinks, in fact there is true enjoyment. I have also noticed that I am chewing on the side of the mouth that I have been avoiding due to pain. My only real peeve is the packaging, or rather the lid. It would be great if the lid was wider so the tube could stand on it's end rather than having it lay flatly in the shaving cabinet. Just a thought.

Over the 2 weeks I flossed, then brushed my teeth with Colgate Sensitive morning and night, usually with my electric toothbrush, sometimes with a regular brush. Overall my teeth felt clean and my mouth felt fresh. I have sensitive gums as well as teeth and this toothpaste didn't irritate my gums at all (a very nice surprise! Some toothpastes make my gums blister!!) Best of all, after a couple of days my sensitive teeth didn't 'ping' where there are grooves near the gumline during brushing or when eating foods that normally set them off. I would definitely buy this one again in the future. There are some caveats on the tube - including that this toothpaste is not suitable for children under 12 unless recommended by a dentist, so always check first. Don't swallow toothpaste (that goes for any toothpaste!) Also, if symptoms of sensitive teeth persist, to see your dentist.

It was what I hoped, it had the same Colgate taste that I have always known. With my daily usage I got game and tested it with an icecream at the end of the first week. No problems with my teeth. It didn't have that gritty feel that some toothpastes for sensitive teeth have. It also helped my teeth feel less sensitive. The only thing that I didn't like was that the toothpaste didn't create a good foam in my mouth when I brushed. I know this might not affect the performance of the toothpaste but I don't feel my teeth are really clean unless I get a lot of foam. I would recommend this product to people I know who have sensitive teeth like myself.
