Rated 4 out of 5 by from A product to protect the pearly whites [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oral-B Pro-Health Protect seems to be a product that provides not only protection for teeth but also claims to strengthen teeth and provides gum health benefits. The tube and packaging of the actual toothpaste is very plain and would not stand out on a shelf in the shop among the other colourful product packages. The toothpaste itself has a good consistency and stays on my toothbrush nicely. Upon usinfg the product I did find it creates a good foamy feeling to gelp clean and refresh my teeth and gums. It ssrns to cover my teeth quite well and is easy to rinse after brushing. It leave my breath refreshed as well although it does seem to leave an almost liquorice after-taste which took some getting used to but is certainly not uncomfortable. I did feel that the product provides lasting freshness and protection for a few hours after brushing.. I enjoy using this product and would buy it as an alternative to my normal products and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What a pleasant surprise. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous about trying Oral-B Pro-Health Protect All Around Protection Toothpaste. I have tried Oral-B toothpaste products before and was definitely not a fan of the taste (we usually use a rival brand). However, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavour and texture of this new toothpaste. It had a very mild minty flavour with a pleasant aftertaste. It had a smooth texture with no grittiness. As for the range of claims, it is great that it looks after lots of different aspects of my teeth, gums and mouth - but it is a hard thing to quantify in a review as to whether it actually delivers on these promises. However, I am happy that my teeth felt nice and clean after using it and I would certainly consider purchasing it again.

It is a big tube which will last ages. It has a very refreshing smooth mint taste which is really pleasant as it is not the bitey type of mint that sometimes aggravates the tongue. My entire mouth and teeth feel really clean after using each time. I think this could become my favorite toothpaste.

The mint was mild and pleasant. I have avoided other Oral B toothpastes because the taste was too strong. I usually buy Colgate Total but would happily substitute Oral B Pro Health Protect if it were sold at a comparable price.

The cap has an excellent seal which stops the toothpaste spilling over the basin. Easily dispensed. I love that this product protects all of the mouth area including gums, teeth, cheeks, tongue and removes stains. I must admit that I wasn’t overjoyed with the taste and felt that it could be a little bit more minty in flavour. Giving that fresh after taste. It did however leave my mouth feeling fresh for several hours so this is a plus. The box is recyclable but made in China is not ideal. I would prefer made in Australia. Overall a good product that lives up to its performance claims and one I would use again.

There was a strong Fluoride taste (that sickly-sweet smell and flavour), which I found off-putting for toothpaste. I found it hard for my mouth to feel clean after use, perhaps because I am more accustomed to the strong 'fresh breath' types of toothpaste vs. the all around protection/fluoride-heavy toothpastes. More of a personal preference, this toothpaste was not for me.

That said, I don't like the fact that it foams up so much. I'm used to the usual Oral-B toothpaste that doesn't foam up much. Having so much foam probably means it contains a lot of sodium lauryl sulfate, which I'm trying to avoid.

Unfortunately, within a couple of days of switching to Oral-B Pro-Health Protect All Around Protection Toothpaste, the sensitivity increased significantly, to the point I could not chew on one side of my mouth. I also found the flavour a little underwhelming, I prefer a stronger, mintier, longer lasting flavour. Having said that, my teeth and mouth did feel clean and I didn't get that horrible toothpaste-coffee taste when I picked up my usual caffeine fix on the way to work! I think this toothpaste would be perfect for people who don't have sensitivity issues, and prefer a milder taste. For that reason, I think it would probably be quite suitable for families with younger kids.

It wasmuch smoother and similar to Colgate varieties which was disappointing. Although I do like the larger flip lid - much better than the smaller lid which fills up with toothpaste after a while.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SO DISAPPOINTED- BIG FAIL ORAL B WHY ON EARTH DID THEY CHANGE THE FORMULA? This was one of the only toothpastes I liked, now it's just a watery foamy waste of time. At least provide an alternative or give us a heads up its a new formula. It's not a small change either, this is completely different.
