Directions

1. Charge for 2 hours prior to the 1st use. This will allow the device to operate up to 30 minutes.
2. Ensure your hair is pulled back away from your face.
3. Apply your favourite moisture-rich lotion, serum or sheet mask onto face.
4. Press and hold power button for 2 seconds to turn on.
5. Relaxation mode will begin on Low with 1 indicator highlighted in blue. Press the power button again to change to Medium or High intensity.
6. To switch to EMS Fitness mode, press the power button, the indicator will change to red in Low intensity. Press the power button again to desired intensity.
7. Power off by holding the power button until indicator light switches off.

USAGE ADVICE

- Both massage modes have 3 levels of intensity to suit your needs.

With the EMS mode (look into it, amazing technology) I can absolutely see my skin is lifted and firmer, even my hubby noticed! I use the EMS in the morning and the massage mode in the evening to help wind down. Absolutely love mine.

The massager is a made up of a half spherical base with 4 massaging 'fingers'. It seems to be made of hard plastic but looks like metal. The dusty metallic pink base and faceted silver massaging fingers make it look very luxe. It is a decent weight as well so provides decent pressure against your face. To keep the massaging side dustfree it comes with a protective clear plastic cap which clips on easily. The power button is on the base and to use you press it and hold until it loops through the different speeds. First through the relaxation mode then to the EMS fitness mode. The charging port is cleverly protected by a small silicone tab which lies flat when not charging. Charging for 2 hours prior to use gives half an hour of use and a usb charging cable is provided as well as instructions. I followed the directions to use the EMS fitness mode and the directions for each area of the face. Using the massager every second day seemed to work best for me except on areas where I had breakouts which I avoided. Using the massager with my nightcream has become a ritual and a way to wind down before sleep. In these uncertain times it's been lovely to help create a calm frame of mind before sleep! The only issue I had with the NOVA FIT face massager was occasionally slipping die to the smoothness of the base but I began using it lying down instead which worked perfectly. The day after I first used the massager I was super surprised to see my skin already looked brighter! Subsequently I've noticed my skin looking beautifully firmer and brighter over 2 weeks of regular use....quite apart from the relaxing ritual of massaging my nightcream into my face! I highly recommend the Manicare NOVA FIT face massager for better looking skin!

This little device looks a bit like some kind of alien jellyfish thing, but don't let the looks put you off! This face massager feels so nice, the different speeds mean you can adjust it to suit you. It really helped when I had a headache too, gentle massage around my eyes made a huge difference. Such a great little item, small enough that it could easily fit in your bag when going on holidays or business trips. Easy to clean, which is great when you have a teenager who wants to use all your stuff! Obviously this face massager is teenage girl approved too.

I use the message settings when cleansing my face, then when I apply a serum, I use it on the EMS settings. Really works, and definitely helps in not just my appearance, but also my mood! I found it very easy to use. Massage mode is oh so relaxing and helps me fall asleep at night. EMS feels energising. It took me a couple of sessions to get used to the tingling sensation but I really like it now. I never made it to 5 days a week recommended usage – 4 days a week is all I did and I could definitely see the results after a month. My skin is firmer and looks healthier. Expression lines are much softer. Even my work colleagues noticed! I wholeheartedly recommend Nova Fit!

Despite the massage mode being the first mode when turning on Nova Fit, I did find it easier to use the EMS mode first with my Dr Lewinn’s Toner & Hyaluronic Acid Booster Essence and follow with the massage mode after applying the moisturiser. My skin is “demanding” (mature) so the toner or essence was easy to reapply if required for the EMS mode. It made sense for my personal routine and it didn’t make the Manicare Nova Fit less effective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by parte from NOVA FIT® Firming Face Massager x 2 I received this product as a gift as a I loosely suggested what I wanted, I received two, in this instance, I feel that the only thing wrong with it, is the direction of the massage nodes only go in one direction rotary wise, it doesn't reverse to go clockwise. It is a lovely release for facial tension, circulation, penetration of serums, creams, lotions and moisturisers, works well on the pectoralis muscles below the clavicle (collar bone) .

I got it at half price and gave it as presents to family too. I wouldn't have purchased it at full price. Be careful not to massage your throat because the moving parts can squash (particularly for guys with adam's apple).

After using for a few weeks my skin feels firmer and plumper. It is easy to use and is the perfect way to apply serum or a hydrating sheet mask with a luxurious massaging effect. Feels great on the skin, very soft and relaxing and my skin definitely does feel and look firmer especially around my chin, jaw line and neck. The best way I can describe the EMS fitness mode is that it feels just like a tens machine turned down low and it’s quite comfortable. It leaves your face feeling nice and tingly after use! I now use this mode to wake up in the morning. The real mode is nice to wind down the day to after a long day at work.

It has a lid to keep it clean between massages. I get headaches and this machine feels like it lightly pinches in your skin while you move it. I ended up watching the video on YouTube for tips of how to use it which was handy and advise people to watch it to help learn how to maximise your use.

As someone that is not known for using skincare devices consistently (if it all, whelp!), each session only requires 5 minutes, so I figured that even I could manage that! The NovaFit is a compact device with one side being a half sphere which fits nicely in the hand and the other has 4 nodules that through rotating do their work on the skin. The device is rechargeable, which I love. Not only is it a facial massager but it gives the user the option to perform electronic muscle stimulation technology to the skin. Operation starts be simply pressing the power button for a couple of seconds, then press for each setting until you get the desired one. Both the massage and EMS functions come in 3 power settings, massage represented with a blue light, EMS red. The recommendation is to use the EMS function 5 times a week, massage twice to give the skin a rest. The EMS technology uses electric pulses to cause contractions of the muscles in the face, which helps to tone and firm the skin. Whereas the massage function kneads the skin and promotes relaxation. A criticism I have is in the packaging, there is no detailed instructions or an information booklet which I think is necessary. Even online I couldn't find much information. For a full face workout the places mentioned for use are along jawline, from corner of mouth to ear, nose to temple, forehead, chin and down side of the neck and across each clavicle, repeating each step 3 times each side of the face, making sure to work upwards and outwards. This takes approximately 5 minutes, but there's no need to time it because the device has its own timer and shuts off after the 5 minutes. The device only needs to be used once a day, so I've been using it at night because for me it's the best time to add 5 minutes to my skincare routine. My first time using I applied a facial oil which caused more intense contractions (not painful, though). That was my fault because instructions are to use moisturiser, serum or sheet mask. Since then I have used a serum and although I do feel contractions from time to time, they're not as intense. The design of the NovaFit makes use easy, the nodules do their work while gliding nicely across the skin with the help of the serum. The speed increasing with each level. Most importantly, have I noticed any changes to my skin? I've seen a slight toning to my skin, especially around my jaw area where my I've noticed my skin has less elasticity. It's not a huge difference, but I can see an improvement. My skin seems to absorb the serum better which in turn has made my skin more radiant thanks to an increased blood flow. The Manicare NovaFit for me is not just a gimmicky device. Although the changes to my skin have not been major, I really enjoy the experience, it has become such a nice way to finish my night time routine.
