The black colour is super black so gives a dramatic effect. The brush feels nice in your hand and is easy to work with.

It definitely did not disappoint and I found it does a really good job of both lengthening and volumising my lashes.This mascara comes in a gorgeous rose gold package and has a large natural bristle brush. The brush really allows you to wiggle the product into the lashes but I did find it a bit hard to get into the inner and outer lashes. I just hope that they'll come out with a waterproof version because I find that waterproof mascara holds a curl so much better!

The L'Oreal Paris Paradise Mascara added volume to my lashes which for a long time has been short and very faint. The length of my lashes were definitely more defined and added a larger eye effect. The ultra-soft brush was soft on the lashes and didn't cause any discomfort when applied. The brush offered a smooth finish that didn't flake. I applied a few layers throughout the day to make my lashes look great. The only slight downside was a bit of clogging which is my personal nightmare in mascaras. It's simple and easy to apply and has a great applicator/ brush which allows me to apply my mascara on the go with ease. I loved that it didn't smudge throughout the day and stayed quite well with one application. Though I do recommend a touch up for the best effect. It was easy to remove and didn't need much makeup remover or excessive force to remove. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a reliable mascara that can extend your lashes and stay on all day with ease.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is such a beautiful mascara.  I love having thick and long looking lashes so I needed to apply two coats however, I could have easily gotten away with one coat.  The packaging is beautiful and looks super expensive. However, the mascara came out a little bit clumpy on the brush - not sure whether that's because of the wand or the formula.  But other than that, amazing mascara (the boyfriend even commented on how long my lashes looked)!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow!\nI am thoroughly impressed and have found my new go to mascara. \nI normally find that anything that has to do with voluminsing clumps my lashes so it looks like I have about 2 on each eye but not this one . \nNot only does it lengthen my lashes and make them look so black and bold but it also holds the curled shape and so easy to wash off. \nI can't recommend this product enough.\n\nJust a hot tip - if you do notice your lashes clumping, wipe the brush with a tissue to remove all the excess and use a spare mascara brush to spread them out if needed. \n

I still give i four stars because putting aside all the talk that it's a better dupe for the Too Faced BTS, it is a good mascara. The wand and amount of product that it takes out is quite alot and it can look intimidating and clumpy but it does not apply like this at all. It holds a curl exceptionally well and gives you a good amount of length and volume. I would say it is more volumising than lengthening and it is quite easy to build up with a few layers. \n\nI have tried the TF BTS mascara and it is definitely not worth the price so for the same look and similar results, the Loreal will be your next best friend.\n

It is lengthening, volumising and lasts all day all at the same time. The only fault I incurred from using this product is that I had quite a lot of transfer of the mascara on to my eyelids.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wow! \nThis mascara is affordable and in my opinion, comparable to Too Faced “Better Than S**” mascara as it gives a false lash affect. I found my lashes were really dramatic and the mascara really helped to separate my lashes giving it a really volumized effect. I wore the mascara for approximately 8-9 hours and there was no transferring to the face + it did not flake at all!  It will be on my list for drugstore alternatives! L’Oréal really set the bar with this one!\n

Little bit lumpy when first used but gets better after a few uses in. Also smudges when washed off with water but removes fine with makeup remover. Overall a great mascara!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L'Oreal  Paradise Mascara gives me lots of volume and a little bit of length as long as you don't over apply as it can get clumpy. Light coat of this gives me lasting volume and the formula doesn't weigh down my lashes which is a major problem for me as a lot of mascaras simply cause me to lose the curl in my lashes. It's a great everyday mascara that lasts well on me all day and I don't notice any smudging despite 8 hours of wear.

I would be careful if not layering too much as it can make your eyelashes look clumpy, but a couple of layers worked perfectly for me. My eyelashes looked great for the entire day without smudging or crumbing. I think this mascara did a very good job overall, my only criticism would be the strong smell of it. I think this mascara would suit anyone, from someone looking for a relatively natural look to someone who wants a more intense one as it's just a matter of using a bit less/more product.

I have used L’Oréal mascaras before and have never been overly fussed but after using L’Oréal Paradise Extatic I actually was pretty extatic. Genuinely really surprised by this product. It’s very much lengthening and volumising and I think the key is not over applying as a lot comes out on the thick round brush. Just needed to apply a few layers on the tips and it was very effective. Best thing about it, it seriously lasted all day. This mascara really won me over so would definitely recommend.\n\n

The negatives I have is that it clumps at times, there is a lot of product on the wand taking it out of the tube and the product sets quite quickly after application. I like the end quality that it gives my lashes and I think it gives great, natural looking lashes. \n

It does an amazing job of lengthening and creating high impact lashes. I needed to apply with a light hand as it did tend to clump a little if I was too heavy-handed. Excellent staying power, but removes easily with a make-up wipe or remover. Doesn't flake, and I could build to achieve my desired look. Goes great with the L'Oréal Paris Paradise superliner for high-impact eyes!

A little clumpy but it lasted all day without flaking or smudging which is a win! However, I've used mascaras which provided more volume than this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was super excited to try this mascara since I heard great things about it being a dupe for the Too Face mascara and it doesn't disappointed me at all.\n\nThe packaging is very cute - bronzy rose gold colour which stand out among all my mascaras, makes it easier for me find it in my makeup stash. It doesn't feel too light or cheap either.\nThe brush is in a hourglass shape so it very easy to apply the mascara from the roots of the lashes, however I found that the wand is a bit big for my eyes so I have to be very gentle and extra careful when I apply mascara on my lower lashes.\n\nWhen I first opened it, a lot of products come out with the brush so I had to take some off to be able to apply it on my lashes probably. This mascara is very good at lengthening and volumizing. I just took off my lash extension so my lashes are super short and almost invisible but this mascara GAVE THEM LIFEEE. My lashes was transformed from almost invisible to false lashes level woohoo. It also makes my lashes thicker but I found that 2 coats are enough for my lashes, more than that it will clump together (even with 2 coats I have to use a screw brush to brush them out)\n\nI have asian eyelashes so they are very straight and this mascara didn't help much with that issue. I have to curl my lashes like 2-3 times after applying but after that it hold the curls quite well consider it's not waterproof. It stay on for the whole day and doesn't smudge at all which is great because I usually end my day with panda eyes when I use non-waterproof mascara. The removal process is also fuss-free. Micellar water will remove 85% of the mascara and you can get the rest of with facial cleanser or any eye&lips removers would easily remove it completely.\n\nI'm very happy with this mascara and I agree with all the raves. It works amazingly and very affordable. If there is only 1 thing I can change about this product it would be to make the brush smaller (to fit my small eyes haha). Overall, it's a great product that everyone need to try <3\n\n

The only downside is that it comes out a bit clmupy when you take the wand out of the tube other than that it’s perfect totally recommend for everyday wear.

It's high impact but it does clump a little so you have to apply carefully. It really gets all the little lashes and it doesn't flake. Great lasting power, comes off with a good make-up remover. Paired with the Paradise Superliner from L'Oréal makes for some high impact eyes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Such a great product. I was excited to try it since it looks similar to Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara judging by the wand, and is a great and cheaper alternative. It works really well with long naturally curled lashes, and stayed on for a good amount of time with only a bit of smudging on the bottom lash line when my eyes watered. It looks so natural and is so buildable. I built it up with really light touches which I think is a benefit to the wand design. I used it on both bottom and top lashes and it works really well - with long lashes, I need to watch for product transferring onto my eyelid or eye bags, and this did not do it. I wouldn't call this product waterproof, but that doesn't bother me. If you need/prefer waterproof I'd get this if LÓreal makes a waterproof version if they're making one. I was very impressed how I could use this with a full-face of makeup, or with no makeup at all. Love it. Definitely a great buy and I will definitely be repurchasing this and using it for day-to-day wear, but be careful of watery eyes!

I have a tendency of getting very smudgey with most mascaras during the day and this was no different, however, I wore it on a night out and it did the job perfectly for a shorter amount of time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If you’re looking for false lashes in a tube; this is it. Immediately upon application, this mascara gives the lashes plenty of volume, whilst avoiding becoming too clumpy. The formula is very black and is on the drier side, allowing for multiple coats to create a more dramatic look if that’s what you desire. This mascara features a natural bristle brush, and despite being quite a big wand, I found it quite easy to reach my smaller, outer lashes and bottom lash line without smudging. \nWhile I love the way this mascara looks, I did notice slight smudging after 6 hours of wear in 30+ degree weather, but nothing that couldn’t be easily wiped away. \nPut simply, this is the best drugstore mascara I’ve ever used, and very comparable to the higher-end Too Faced ‘Better Than S**’ and Stila ‘Huge Lash Extreme’. This is a winner!\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average mascara. Loved this mascara for the colour. The black was really intense black and since my lashes are a light colour, I noticed the difference straight away. Otherwise, this mascara was average. The wand wasn't anything special and neither was the volume and length. Don't get me wrong, it does volumise and give length, it just wasn't spectacular as the brief promised. It also was a bit smudgy and messed up my make-up so I would not buy it again. There are so many other mascaras out there to try, no reason to try something average.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good given the price tag. I was disappointed because it’s a bit gluggy, and chunky bits stick to my lashes. I thought it would be amazing given the price of it, but it wasn’t. Cheaper ones do a better job. I use a dry mascara brush to go over my lashes to get the chunky bits off. It does lengthen them, and the colour is great, but it’s not worth the effort or the money for me.

It was a very nice mascara to use & very easy to apply. It felt smooth going on & didn't clump my lashes together. I did have a little fall out under my eyes from the mascara after a full day, but it wasn't to bad. I would buy it again, if I couldn't get my normal mascara & it's great to have a back up just in case. It gave really nice length and volume with only one application and can be easily layered for extra length or depth. I loved the wand shape it has medium to large brush with a lot of bristles & I did remove some of the product from the wand before use, as I found there is to much product on it & made my lashes a little clumpy.

I have quite long lashes naturally and while this definitely highlighted that and made visible every single lash, it made them look clumpy and tacky. The application was smooth and easy to apply, one coat was enough and it didn't leave any black undereye marks through the day like other mascaras can. I let my teenage children use this mascara to see what they thought and they love it, they have shorter lashes than I and it did not look clumpy on their eyes. I would purchase it for them but not for myself
