I have noticed a significant reduction in how many blemishes and blackheads I've been getting. My skin feels quite hydrated after apply this moisturizer. The texture of the moisturizer is smoothe when you put it on your skin and dries quite quickly. I would highly recommend this product for people that have oily/blemish proned skin. The only thing I disliked about the moisturizer is the chemical smell. If the smell could be changed and impressed, I would make this rating a 5 out of 5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reduces appearance of acne [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product comes in a simple pump packaging that makes it easy (and hygienic!) to use. It has the consistency of a gel and sinks into the skin quite quickly. I only needed to use a small amount on my cheeks/jawline so this will last quite a while. While it did reduce the appearance of acne, and has prevented any further outbreaks, I will note that it has a very strong and rather unpleasant chemical smell. It even notes this on the packaging - "The product's odor is related to its innovative ingredient and will quickly disappear". While it did eventually disappear I did find it a bit overpowering at first. I also noticed it had a bit of a drying effect on my skin, though this was helped by using some moisturiser after application. Overall, would recommend for those with acne issues, but be warned of the strong smell!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great non-drying acne treatment [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the short amount of time I’ve been using this, I’ve definitely seen a slight difference, active acne has lessened, scarring from previous acne have lightened. The one thing I really love the most, unlike most acne treatments this does not dry out the skin at all. Will definitely recommend to my friends!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle & refreshing I've always kept a simple routine with my skin. A scrub three times a week and a mask once a week as well as daily cleanse and moisturize. I replaced my cleanser with Avene cleansing gel. I found the smell to be quite pleasant. It wasn't overbearing or harsh. It left my skin still feeling soft and fresh. I would then follow up with Avene cleanance comedomed. At first I wasn't too keen on it. The smell was like putting an antiseptic on my face but the smell quickly disapeared. I found the cleanance was good for a day or two after using a mask when a pimple or two would appear. It was very quick to clear it up. All in all I'm very happy with the outcome and I recommend it.

This month the blemish started to appear, but using Avene Cleanance Comedomed the blemish went away without fully forming. I was extremely happy about this. I have also found my skin to be very smooth and hydrated since using Avene Cleanance Comedomed. It is a great moisturiser under makeup.

I'm applying it each morning under my SPF. it has a light creamy texture that I found applied easily to the face, it's slightly perfumed but I didn't notice it on my face. I deffinitly noted a mattifying finish, and I had limited breakouts during these 2 weeks but I haven't noticed any difference in regards to blackheads/pores. There's nothing wrong with the product, and if you have extremely oily skin you will probably enjoy it, but for me it was an extra step I found unnecessary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Comedomed Cleanance I was looking forward to hopefully seeing some results from using this, but it's been over a month now and unfortunately I haven't. It hasn't helped with the blackheads or the blemishes nor has it reduced my pore size. The only good thing I've noticed is that my skin hasn't been as oily as it usually is and its pretty good as a makeup primer. It also absorbs quickly into the skin and has a very light feel to it, you also only need to use a small amount. It says it has no fragrance which it doesn't as such, but to me its like a medicated alcohol scent and that was explained after reading the ingredient list as alcohol is second on the list

I must be one of the few it didn't work for. I followed the instuctions and used morning and night for two weeks. I still have some left so i will persevere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just okay I tried the avene cleanance comedomed over the last few weeks. The smell is quite intense (similar to alcohol wipes) but not offensive and dissipates quickly. The product soaks in quickly and does not leave any sticky residue which I appreciate. It makes my skin feel fairly smooth. I am not usually super prone to acne, just a few spots here and there. Unfortunately I have not noticed any significant difference to blemishes when using these products which is their main claim. I concede that there is an extra challenge for the product, as I have been wearing a face mask a lot of the time and I would be interested to try it again when I am not wearing a mask as much as I currently am.

I was actually disappointed in the Cleanance Comedomed. The smell was overwhelming. Whilst there is no alcohol in the product, it smells like alcohol. After using this product for over two weeks now, I have not seen any improvement in my skin.

I’m 32 and still prone to breakouts, it didn’t seem to help those but with only 1 weeks worth of products it may just not have been enough time using the product. I did love how my skin felt straight after using it though. The moisturising cream did have an alcohol wipe smell to it every time I applied it but the smell didn’t last and my partner said he couldn’t smell it once it was on my skin, kind of only in the container.

It's easy to apply, I used it after cleaning and then moisturised afterwards. Although I did find it refreshing and somewhat hydrating, I didn't find a reduction in blemishes on my skin and didn't think it made and overall difference in my skincare routine. Therefore going forward I probably wouldn't recommend this product unless someone was wanting to take the time to try and extra step in their routine.
